The owner is so amazingly kind and friendly. The store is so nice and everything looks chic and modern. The front desk checked me in and they got started immediately. They have menus with all the different services and prices offered, it was so cute and organized. I ordered the deluxe pedicure ($65) and a full set ($60+). My total came to $170 so the nails must have been $105 total. I didnt ask specifics but I will next time for my deets. I also asked for color 269 (darker pink) and when I looked down she was using 265 (bright ass yellow) but I didn't have the heart to stop her. I will next time though for sure lol I tipped $50 and everything took them about 2 hours although I believe the lady doing my nails is pretty new so that might also be why. My friend who recommended the place raves about Jen for designs. The nails weren't exactly what I wanted (the base coat is light enough to see my real nails and it makes the top of the nail look plastic) but I would still come back for sure. read more

Their spa pedi is an excellent value, coming in around $10-15 less than a lot of places in the area that are relatively equivalent (but not as awesome, if I do say so)... this just leaves more room for tipping, as far as I am concerned, and I try to make this a consistent practice. I don't do mani's but everyone seems to love getting them here, their tables are often full! I really enjoy my pedicures, having a chance to break away from the norm and relax a bit. I struggle with making time for myself, but having a great location close to my home and consistent service that allows me to know how long it'll take me to get in and out, I know I can depend on them! I will continue to be a faithful client of Classy Nails, as long as they're here! I wish I was more consistent with my visits, but I am grateful they make time for me whenever I am able to fit it in. I've given this salon several chances but the service is consistently unprofessional. The youngest nail tech rushes, leaves polish on the sides, and is dismissive when asked to correct mistakes. On top of that, they do not use new tools for each client or properly clean their materials before use. When I spoke up about it, the tech got annoyed and insisted they were clean but after finishing she just sprayed them twice and put them back in the pouch. For the prices charged you deserve better quality, sanitation, and professionalism. If you're looking for a place to truly relax and enjoy self care I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I have been going to this salon since I was a preteen and have always been super happy with my results. I don't get my nails done often except for summer, but when I do, it's always a blast! All the women in the salon are so nice and do their absolute best to give a relaxing experience. They have new furniture and equipment which are all very beautiful and taken care of. I have tried other nail places which left me looking horrible and me feeling beyond embarrassed. These ladies have never done that to me. One thing that I do recommend is to always make an appointment. This salon gets swamped, especially Friday and Saturday. I went in today for a pedicure. I thought I was getting the spa pedicure but they gave me the most basic pedicure instead. The technician sat and talked with her co-workers the entire time and barely acknowledged me. I also saw her rinse her tools in plain water and put them back for the next use. This is my absolute favorite nail place, period. Jennifer does my toes and eyebrows. Kim does my nails. They have a bunch of women working here but I only go to them and Sandy if they're gone. I always get colored French tip on my toes and similar on my nails. They always do it flawlessly. I literally trust no one else but Jenner with my eye brows. I will never return to the salon ever again. I went in tonight for a manicure, I was promptly seated and an employee started working on my nails. Once she pulled my hands out of the water to start cutting my cuticles the towel that she had placed my hands on had someone's ripped off acrylic nails stuck to it. I was absolutely disgusted. At one point she wiped my nails with a part of the towel that had someone else's ripped off nails. To make matters worse I got a gel French manicure and she forgot to clean up my thumb before putting it under the light because she was busy talking to another employee. When she went to put the second coat of paint on she notice what she had done, instead of cleaning it and starting completely fresh she took the Dremel to try to clean it up. It looks absolutely terrible, I paid $30 for my nails to look awful and be disgusted because they don't clean their stations after they're done with their clients. read more

Face wax gone wrong Well I walked in to get a full face wax, the lady looked a little annoyed not sure why but that's normal at these places I've noticed. Anyways she started waxing without saying anything which isn't really good customer service but whatever. She was waxing huge parts of my face at a time I've had my face waxed several times and know they usually do smaller sections at a time, the wax was sticking and she had to do 2-3 pulls on one strip, which is especially painful. I could feel my skin pulling as well, I am not one to complain or anything so I endured it. Anyways at the end she cleaned my face with something I'm assuming was rubbing alcohol because it burned so bad it was hard to sit still, then covered in a lotion which equally burned. I haven't been pleased with the work at a very popular salon in Dupont and my favorite salon in Fife was out of my way. I had my first visit yesterday and I am glad I found a pleasant salon so close to home. I came in about an hour before they closed and they got me in, although I had to wait about 20 minutes before someone started on my feet. But I expected to wait a little because I was a walk in. It was getting late and almost all of the other nail salons were about to close too, so I was fine with it, as long as they would do my nails! My shellac manicure and spa pedicure were great. Even though it was close to closing time, they did not rush through it so they could go home faster. Sandy even stayed after closing time to do my manicure! I'm very pleased with the results. She made sure I left without any polish on my cuticles after I expressed how bad the last shop was about it. She was so sweet to talk to and made my visit very welcoming! *Update* Unfortunately the last time I went my gel manicure was horrible. There were air bubbles in all my nails. I went back within an hour and they added another layer of nail polish to get the air bubbles out, but since there were so many layers of polish on my nails they all cracked within 2 days... I think if I would have called about it they would have fixed my nails, but I didn't have time to go in again... 11/30/2016 I was driving by and decided to call and see if they had some time available for a manicure. My friend and I walked in and they were very nice and friendly, they asked what we wanted and we told them shellac manicure and pedicure. When I was getting my pedicure the lady got up and started eating food, then she came back and started clipping my toe nails, she clipped them to short and when she was clip dead skin she ripped a piece of skin of and my little toe was bleeding really bad. When I was getting my shellac mani she filed my nails WAY TO SHORT. Then when I showed her the design I wanted she didn't even do it, I wanted daisies and ended getting a flower with stars. I called & scheduled a pedicure, manicure with powder and an eyebrow wax. The gal who did my pedicure did a great job! I was then transferred to someone else for my manicure. She was horrid! She first took off the old powder then proceeded to put the new right over the top without doing the manicure. She put on four coats of powder!!! He nails are so massively thick that they look & feel like acrylic. She then proceeded to put on two top coats of something which becomes lumpy on several of the nails - so I said something - then the gal puts on a third coat in an attempt to even out the lumps. This turns into a sticky mess. That's when Jen, the manager comes over and says that she'll take me back and do my brows. I said, "listen, I've been here for nearly two hours. This -and I hold out the sticky, lumpy, nail job - is not what I asked for. I asked for a manicure with powder and nobody has done the manicure. Additionally, this powder job is a mess. There is no way I am trusting anybody here to do something to my face!" Jen says to me that she is sorry and that she can fix the powder job - which she did try to do. When I go up to pay they charge me $20 for the pedicure and $35 for the powder, to which I said, $35 for what? You didn't do a manicure. That's when they all started saying that they didn't understand, "I don't speak good English"! Can you believe that?!?!?! They actually said that!!! Unbelievable. Very disappointed, The lady who did my nails was nice but she did not allow my feet to soak, she got straight to it, applied the nail polish to my to my toes and it was very streaky and chunky looking and it also dried that way as well. As soon as she finished she did not apply a top coat and told me to go dry my toes, I then had to ask her to apply one more coat to my toes and she did, but I was still unhappy just because I felt I shouldn't have felt rushed nor should I have had to ask for another coat. There was also a separate lady who did my eyebrows and I was extremely unpleased because she took the arch out of my eyebrows, waxed between them and now they're too far apart and look extremely awkward. I will definitely be back for my gel mani & pedi! I am very hard to please when it comes to my nails as I feel like most places rush & it is almost always so awkward due to language barrier. So this my third time here. The first time I got a full set ( my old nails removed and a new set ) I didn't like the shape but that was my fault. The lady didn't file away all the acrylic so that was kind of annoying. Considering I'm really picky about nail salons and I've already been to a lot of them in Lakewood I decided to try them again. One of the ladies did an amazing fill ! So I came back today for a pedicure. It was a pretty good pedicure as far as I can tell but when I went to pay this time I noticed how the door said "Military discount " so I showed my ID and they said oh only for active duty. That was a little annoying considering it's usually only spouses and children who come to salons for nails / pedis. Only salon I know that says only active duty. So I came here because my nail salon was closed due to construction on the road they are on. I got on Yelp and read reviews for this place. The lady who did my feet kept hurting me now a few of my toes are all red and hurt bad. Then one of the other ladies did my nails. And she did an awful job. She got all kinds of the gel that they put over the top of your nail polish on the sides of my fingers and the top of my thumb I don't know if you can see it in the picture I will be posting. I'm giving a one star because of how much the lady kept cutting me and also how slow she was going. Also the price was not worth it. My nails look great but it took her an hour and a half to take my old set off and to give me a full set. I usually have Jennifer do my nails but she had to leave. The nails look good and it's the best coffin shape I've ever gotten from any salon but the fact that she kept cutting me over and over jus irritated my whole soul. My friend also got her nails done too. She asked for square round & got round nails with ONE square round nail. I was charged $50 for my nails. She charged me to take off my old set ($10), she charged me for a full acrylic gel set ($30), then told me because I was getting coffin shape it was another $10? How in the world do I get charged for the SHAPE of my nails? That's absurd & never in my life have I heard of anything like that. My friend got acrylic gel fill & she was charged $22. When she asked why it was $22 when the price board says $15, they said there's a difference in gel powder and gel polish causing it to be $7 more. How is a gel powder fill cheaper than jus acrylic gel powder? The prices don't make sense and they take forever to tell you how much because they are asking every other nail tech how much to charge. I used to come here all the time but after yesterday's visit, I won't be back. read more
