This was my first time at PD Nail Salon and it will definitely be my last. Hannah quoted me $85 for everything included, but when it came time to pay they charged me $95 and tried to claim that a "fill with designs" somehow costs more than a full set with designs -- which makes no sense since fills are supposed to be cheaper. Tracy, who they claim is their best design tech, had no idea how to do the design I asked for. I had to constantly remind her what to do, and even then I had to ask her to redo my nails multiple times. What should have been a simple appointment turned into a frustrating 4-hour ordeal. Between the dishonest pricing, lack of skill, and unprofessionalism, this was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I was looking to spoil myself and saw how many fantastic reviews this place had so I had to stop by and try it out. The salon is super clean and organized. Everyone was very welcoming. The owner Calvin welcomed and greeted me in immediately. I was seated and within 5 minutes I was serviced by Tracy, who did an amazing job! I've been getting my nails done here on and off with my daughter since she was little, my sister has come religiously for over 6 years. After today I won't return. Their prices aren't listed and are so inconsistent. 2 gel manicures and pedicures was $145 (no bid deal) then today 2 gel manicures that were rushed and missing many parts of the service was $91? My daughter's nails look like a classmate painted them and they are gel. Paint al over her finger nails and she was told no to the designs she wanted and ended up with some weird shaped polkadots. My manicure looks nice but I'm bleeding in 3 places and got no lotion or anything. For that much money this place just isn't worth it. Originally I came in got a pedicure and a full set for 140. The pedicure (French tip) looked really rough like he just laid the polish down . The French tip lines weren't good at all but I hate being that person so I was just going to deal with it . The color was a blue-ish sparkle color I picked and when I left the color turned silver outside . I left at 6:30. I got home and decided that for 140 I should speak up. I called they were closed so I messaged them on instagram. They said no problem come in at 10 and they would fix it . I went at 10 I told him I didn't like how my pedicure turned out and the color ended up being silver . The man that fixed my nails and feet did an amazing job . I gave him 20 dollars cash thinking I wasn't paying anything for the correction . I went to leave and the man at the front told me 70 dollars. I said what am I paying for ? He said you got a color change . I said my pedicure French tip lines looked terrible why would I pay to have my toes repainted ? He said okay well did you let him know last night so he could fix it ? I said no but I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and I hated the color . So he made me still pay 30.00 for my hand polish to be changed . All together I paid 190.00 for a full set and a basic pedicure. I come to pd all the time so I was really surprised by them double charging me . I would have never expected that. I was treated so badly in the nail salon. The girl who attempted to do my nails rolled her eyes at me , I was not happy about the shape of them. They are so thick and so square . They were so bulky it is an odd thing. and all the powder on my nails awful, didn't clean up under my nails. everything was just not good at all. They made me feel bad. it was very uncomfortable for me. I spent $55. and went today to another salon who treated me GREAT !!!!! they were Wow these look really bad. and paid another $30. to get them fixed. NO! I had heard a lot of good things about this salon. So when I went in I had high expectations. My old dip set was ripped and lifted off my nails with a plastic fake nail and chipped off with cuticle scissors. This completely ruined the layers of my nails as it ripped off layers of what had been healthy nail. It also ripped off the length on half my nails down to the stubs and one finger was bleeding. At that point I looked at my nail tech and said that if she had soaked off my nails instead of ripped them, she wouldn't have caused my nails damage, I wouldn't be bleeding, and my nails would still be healthy. She said oh I didn't know that. Like. That's standard policy for removal to keep nails healthy. That being said she did a great job at applying new dipping powder. They look great, I'm just super disappointed my natural nail is now ruined. read more

Really disappointed. I got a mani/pedi here instead of my usual place and I wish I hadn't. Both my nail techs were aggressive and unfriendly. My pedicurist ripped my existing gel off instead of soaking it and before I could ask her to stop, she tore my big toe nail. It was painfully short and she went ahead and made all of my toe nails that short. They're sore for being SO short. Then, my manicure. My dip was taken off correctly but I told the nail tech there's a tear on my nail bed. She never repaired it, she just slapped the dip over it without reinforcing the break. She aggressively took the nail clippers and clipped my nail so short, I jumped in pain. Instead of apologizing she just stared at me. I should have left at that point but I didn't. Next she sloppily put my tips on and got glue all over my fingers. I told her there was glue all over my skin and she aggressively tore the glue away, and then took her drill and started drilling the back of my nails to remove the glue, but she got so far under my nail she got my actual nail bed. It hurt so much! The worst part was I realized that their tools, cuticle cutters, drill bits, etc all came from a gross, dusty tin box that had obviously been used on the person before. Then the tools were placed back in the box after using them on me. Ew! My usual place autoclaves all tools between customers, and has never hurt me. My nails are also all different lengths, even after trying to point it out to the tech. Never going back here again. read more

She chipped and ripped them off. I always have acrylics in and the removal should never look like this. She seemed confused as to why I was not letting her finish. I get shellac and it's a relief to go somewhere all the staff is knowledgable about how to properly remove and apply. I've also been here a few times when I've attempted acrylics and they've done a great job on those too. I've never left a bad review or been so unhappy with a place that I've felt the need to leave one. Today was my first time here since they got new owners. I've heard great things and wanted to try the dip nail polish. I made an appointment (which obviously doesn't mean anything to this business) and was sat 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time. Not only was I sat late, but they made me stand behind the gal who was already currently sitting finishing up her nails. Clearly, there wasn't enough room so I told them I would just wait til she was finished instead of trying to squeeze beside the previous gal. It was as if they took so many walk-ins they didn't have room for those who made appointments. There was even a girl who walked in and said she called an hour ago and they told her to come in at a certain time, so she did, and they turned her away and told her to come back again in another hour. So, I get the dip polish. I wanted tips put on first that way my nails had some length to them. I've never seen someone put tips on so fast. I can't tell you how many times she had to go back and re-glue them because they weren't seated properly. She continues on with the dip process. Never asked me what length or shape I wanted so finally I asked her if she planned on shaping them square round because that's what I prefer, she quickly responded with "I do that at the end." Okay? After the color is put on she THEN files and shapes them. Did she not realize that the parts of the nails she's now filing have NO color since she just filed it all off!?! Never did she have me wash my hands she just continued to paint over the dust. My nails are uneven, have lumps and have no color on the sides since she filed them off. I expressed my concern and informed the guy at the front that I'm not paying for these (they wanted $40) since they looked horrible. He told me to come back later today (after I was already there for an hour and a half) and they would fix them. One, they should have been done properly the first time and two, I'm not returning to a place who rushed the process and did a bad job the first time. Plus, I'm leaving for a vacation and don't have the time. So, for those of you thinking about coming here, be warned. If they're busy they'll rush your service. read more

I typically get a shellac manicure every 2 or 3 weeks. Not because something goes wrong, just because I'm ready for a change... Until I came here. I called and made an appt earlier in the day, no issues there. I showed up and was treated like I was a burden when i came in. I sat down and she started removing the old polish. Which was uncomfortable. I asked if we could wait longer because the only thing she was successful at was stabbing at my cuticle. Old color eventually comes off and I ask of she can trim my nails a little bit. All the nails are cut varying lengths and shapes. Some of them were so close to the nail bed so they were tender for several days. Color was uneven. Top coat was patchy and whole freaking manicure started falling apart in 8 days. That's what I get for trying to save time by stopping on my way home. Too bad the rating won't go any lower. read more

Terrible all around! I called at 9:00am and made an appointment for a color change/trim down, and fix acrylic in one nail. They said come at 12:15. Got there at 12:15, they didn't take me until 12:40!! I just moved to the area from Seattle. I normally go to PEONY NAILS and see AMANDA for my acrylics. She is incredible. This place was a joke. The one nail she "fixed" (middle right) was completely crooked. I asked her to fix it and she had to add acrylic and even it out Bc she filed it so uneven. THEN, after I told her three times I like my nails "thin and narrow" she gives me one of the chunkiest acrylic jobs I have EVER had. It's so ugly. Would not recommend. I walked in and they asked if I could wait 20 minutes, I didn't mind as I did not have an appointment. 55 minutes go by before they were able to help me. Again, don't mind waiting, but I would have just came back later had they been honest about wait time. The lady started on my manicure, right before she got to the dip powder they moved me to the pedicure chair. The lady started on my pedicure. The first lady helping me then came over and continued the manicure in my lap as I'm in the pedicure chair. Very inconvenient, couldn't be on my phone, hands are being pulled in all directions. She asked me to turn off the massage chair so she could do my nails when there is a station specific to a manicure. Could not relax at the only place I get time to myself. If it had been JUST an un pleasant experience, I would have left it alone, thinking maybe I'm just picky. But now, only two days later, 4 of my finger nails are chipping and 3 of my toenails are irritated, almost to the point of infection. Their bathroom was gross and full of supplies, their walls were gross and coated with nail polish. Will not return. read more

I love this place, they always do such a great job. I went in tonight to get a pedicure I came in at 620 they got me right in. I didn't catch her name but the lady who did it was very kind and did an amazing job. However when I went to pay it was another gal and she said $30, I got the spa pedicure which is $25. I said this to her and she said "ya but aren't you going to tip?" I said " well ya" and left it at that and she said " ok $30 ". I tipped the girl $10 not $5 first of all and I always tip anyways. You should NEVER tell the customer a false amount to get a higher tip. This was so incredibly rude and I work in the tipping industry and would NEVER do this. The lady had should length curly hair, I will continue to go back to the lady I had today but i am truly disappointed in her associate. read more

Extremely understaffed, they rush you to pick your color/mani or pedi type and then leave you sitting there while they go between customers. We arrived for our 3:45 appointment, on time, and were cut in line by a girl with no appointment. When we were seated we began to get helped by one woman, who then left us to go start another woman's pedicure after literally yanking the pedicure menu's away from us before we had decided what we wanted. After this they seemed to play musical chairs, and left us sitting here without help for upwards of 30 minutes. Finally, my mom received some help! Just kidding.. this girl ditched us to help the girl who cut us in line with no appointment. Moral of the story is: this place is really cute inside, not your typical nail salon decor, but they lack experience and customer service skills.
