I was told to add lemon to my conditioner and see if that worked by her . I left with my hair wet so she couldn't tell. when that didnt work she had me come in and added a toner , I left with my hair wet again and still was to dark. no blonde at all. Shelly strung me along for over a week with every excuse to not refoil or even look at it and what didn't work! I paid $230 for a partial foil and cut(trim). I now need to go pay to have my hair fixed!!!! she's the owner, and over charges for average grade service. Quality not worth $$$$ ! I expected so much more from a business owner to treat a client so poorly. I have pictures and text to prove it!

I can't say enough how amazing this salon has been with helping me and fixing my hair. Kylie…read moreabsolutely saved my hair after it was recked by another salon/stylist. Aura Salon/Kylie worked it out that I come in on a day they are typically closed (Sundays) so that my hair could be fixed: something that was never even a thought at the salon that ruined it in the first place. I genuinely feel beautiful and I am so in love with my hair now, I drove 2 hours south for this and would do it over and over and over again. I know there is only so much that can be done once a bleach/color job goes wrong but what Kylie was able to do with my hair is unbelievable. She was extremely informative the entire time, had tons of ideas for what could be done depending on what I wanted, was straight forward about what could be fixed and what was going to be a cover up. She knows what she is talking about and it shows every single step of the way, down to explaining how products work and what they are doing to my hair. I never ever would've thought that my hair could look this good and feel this nice, especially after how badly it was screwed the first time. The salon is cute and cozy and welcoming, the gift shop is freaking adorable (I have a soft spot in my heart for crystals). My partner was able to relax with me while Kylie went to town on fixing my hair which was really kind as I've been to many places that don't allow any other guests. Not a single part of my experience was anything other than absolutely amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I can't find the stylists name that cut my daughter's hair, but if I do ill update the post.. but…read moreshes the only reason this place is getting any stars. I have been to Aura a handful of times over the years (the very first time was YEARS ago when it was swanky- but my hair stylist left so I stopped going for hair but I continued to go when they changed the name, for facials a couple of times) not the point.. but it seemed like this place has changed a lot since last time I was there and it now looks like a hodge podge of different things and it didnt feel cohesive. Which, obviously works for them- but it didnt feel like an actual salon/spa. When we arrived there was no one at the front desk so one of the stylist that was cutting hair had to stop to ask us what we were there for and then said the stylist would be up soon. She came up, we went back, we talked... all is good. (Again, this has nothing to do with the actual stylist!) But the stylist took my daughter to wash her hair and a couple walked in with a baby and a toddler. Seemed to be a stylist that just had a baby. Not sure, but they went back around a corner where we couldn't see them but could hear them. The toddler would come out and run around the salon. Again, I couldn't see back there so idk if there was a door or what- but I assumed after the first time it wouldnt happen again, since this is a salon open to the public and not just for family. Nope. The toddler kept coming out running around and two different times would go to a chair that a client was sitting in and either touch their leg or arm or whatever (as a curious toddler would do) but the dad slowly dragging his feet behind the child and would stand back and say "hey buddy, let's not do that" instead of scooping him up and taking him back to where the stylist and baby were hanging out. It was crazy that it happened once, let alone more then once! Then a couple other people were checking in for their appointments and there weren't seats available, they had to sit in the chairs at the nail area or the dryer. It was just a weird experience between the way the salon was set up, the fact a child was allowed to run around, touching guests, and lack of a waiting room (which if I remember correctly, was taken out to put a little gift shop in?) Like I said the stylist was great.. but the salon overall, I would not recommend.

I had been eying Lanes work on Instagram and let me tell you she worked her magic and I think I found my new go to stylist. I have dark, thick, curly hair and was in need for a little blonde to be put back into my life, because we all know blondes have more fun. Lane was extremely knowledgeable when it came to dealing with my hair and the whole process was completely relaxing. I came in with grown out highlights and left happily ever blonde! Having a good hair stylist in life is a must and Lane definitely delivered.

My wax girl came to work here from another place, so I'm trying to follow her. The wax room is dark, but the whole place is dark. *absolutely needs more lighting)* Parking is streetside that you have to pay for. The 3 stars is 1) For me..Im trying to save $ and Im used to free parking and it's also limited 'pay to park' 1 1/2 hours max on the street which isnt exactly cool...especially for long appointments. 2) Too dark inside to be performing hair cuts colors and body waxing beause you can't really check your work properly. *Free parking on Sundays so Ill try getting appt on that day* The girls are super sweet and I intend to go back for a haircut soon just because other reviews were rating this place high.
