Out in Temecula, the last thing I expected to find was good Mongolian food, but find it I did! Really great burger and incredibly affordable for what you get. Love that they have a sauce and toppings bar and some really great standard menu options. Definitely on the list of places to go when I head back up to Temecula!

The ladies that work here are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs! They run the business smoothly and are quick with their service. It was my first time here and we had a party of 8. 7 of us decided to get the all you can eat hot pot, while our mom got the beef noodles (refills available). The hotpot came with two options for soup: tomatoes or beef bone. You get to choose the spice level and choices of protein. The best part is the venerable bar that they have with endless options. There's a sauce bar and a seafood bar for you to choose from, too. They also have taro sesame balls or gyoza. Of course, that doesn't end with that! They also have self serve ice cream. All of this comes along with the all you can eat part of the menu. Beverages are also included from their fridge. The food was quick and great! Everything was hot and we got to cook it ourselves in their beautiful pots. They kept coming back to check on us and asking if we needed anymore meat! The interior was clean and spacious. Had beautiful decor and a beautiful horse image, too! Can't wait to come back again for some delicious soup!

If there were 6 stars I would give this place this rating. Food delicious, hot pots so fun and cute. Everyone gets their own hot pot so you can spice up the Broth to your liking. Many vegetables; assorted noodles, eggs. The service was excellent!!

Food: 5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 4 I went to The Mongol House for dinner with a group of girlfriends and was so pleasantly surprised. This place is GOOD, GOOD. It's a hot pot spot, and honestly, I'm usually not the biggest hot pot fan, but it was a cold, rainy night, so hot soup sounded perfect and it absolutely hit the spot. The restaurant is bright and clean. Service was friendly and more on the efficient side rather than overly chatty, which worked well for the pace of the meal. When you arrive, you pick your soup base and spice level, and then choose your proteins which are unlimited. Next, you head to the salad and side bar, which has tons of goodies including veggies, seafood add ins, noodles, tofu, and more. There's also a section with fried snacks like egg rolls and potstickers. My favorite part was the sauce station where you can mix your own dipping sauce. It was fun and made the experience feel even more personalized. The food itself was delicious and very fresh. There were lots of great choices, and everything was simple but extremely tasty. They refilled our soup a few times throughout the night, and we appreciated the attentiveness. We all ate so well, and the flavors were comforting and satisfying. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend The Mongol House for anyone craving hot pot, especially on a chilly day

A hidden Mom & Pop, family run gem in Temecula! We ater dinner here recently (Myself, wife and youngest son). They were getting busy around the time we arrived on 1730 on a Saturday night. Luckily we were able to be seated right away, because soon after we started, there was a growing waiting list to be seated. After our meat selections were ordered by a very personable gentleman, we walked up to a very clean and neatly organized area thyta offered your veggies, sauce station and seafood proteins. While the selection here was not as extensive at some of the other AYCE Hot Pot restaurants we have eaten at, what was offered here was fresh, clean, and appetizing to look at. The same for their sauce station. They have the basics, that if you get creative enough, you can make yourself a really decent tasting dipping sauce. Their chili oil was really hot, which I really liked! The sliced beef that we ordered (several rounds) were sliced thinly which made for fast cooking in your own individual broth pot. The meat that we we all chose was fresh tasty, with more meat than fat and gristle like one can get in some other AYCE Hot Pot places. The servers here all are very friendly, patient with answering any questions posed to them and attentive to refilling our broth pots when needed and checking to see if we were ready for another round of meat. The beverage selection included your mainstream sodas as well as Arizona Teas in several flavors, which for one flat price, is unlimited. Justb help yourself to the cooler adjacent to the complimentary ice cream (which when we went was tubs from Thrifty's). We are very lucky to have a such a reasonably priced AYCE Hot Pot close to us that offers fresh, quality ingredients for making your own hot pot. One note, the hot pots they use require canned sterno type product to heat your individual hot pots, so there is a lingering smell of the burning fire gel in the restaurant. They do try to keep the restaurant ventilated, but if you have respiratory issues or or sensitive to odors, you may want to be cognizant of this. We will definitely be regulars at Mongol House!

Met up for lunch for a belated birthday lunch celebration for our brother. It was our first time meeting up for the New Year (January), and birthday boy chose Mongol House. It was a little hard to find the restaurant, especially since the sign is not right over the entrance, but just next to it where the small market is. Look for the Winchester Center sign next to the market. Since we arrived before it opened on a Sunday, we browsed in the market until it was tine to eat. We had a reservation for 6 of us, so they seated us at the one round table near the front. There is another longer table next to it on the left side where there's a colorful mural. The rest of the tables are booths. The restaurant is spacious and roomy and very clean. You can order items from the menu or build your own hot pot which is AYCE. Everyone in our party chose the hot pot. We were each brought a small blue pot that contained the sterno to heat up the soup and the broth of our choice inside. We also placed our meat order with our server. We went to the back-left corner to grab our veggies, and some other things to add to our hot pot. Our server came by often to take more meat orders, clear empty plates, and check if we needed more broth or if our sterno needed more fuel. Our server was delightfully cheerful and friendly. She was helpful and answered all of our questions, especially when we had to choose our broths. (Forgive me for forgetting your name!) I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you have a larger party. Accessibility notes: most of the tables are padded booths. If you can transfer and slide, you should be okay. Otherwise, see if you can sit at a table that has chairs on the left side. The restaurant is spacious enough to park your mobility aid (or stroller for babies) near you. The restrooms are located in the back-left corner, 2 single stall restrooms, one for men and one for women. There is enough room for someone to enter with their mobility aid and a helper companion. You can enter the restaurant without climbing a step, but I don't recall where the handicap accessible parking was since we used a regular parking space and I climbed up the curb. No one from the family is local, but my brother-in-law chose this restaurant because it's somewhere where we can meet in the middle. We all loved it, and are adding it to our rotation when we need to come together for a celebration.

I'm so happy that an AYCE hot pot restaurant has finally opened in Temecula. I had been hoping one would open here for a long time, so it truly feels like a wish come true. When I went there, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The broth and ingredients were all delicious, and I was completely satisfied. I left feeling full and very happy. I'm definitely looking forward to going back again soon!!

This was our first time at Mongol House and we really enjoyed our dinner. Delicious food and excellent service! I was also able to spend an enjoyable dinner with my son and daughter without feeling rushed or like we had to hurry up and eat and leave. The service was so good. We will definitely be back.

This was so much fun!! The seating are is medium sized. The room was well lit and we didn't have to wait to be seated. The server made up dipping sauces for us and had lots of suggestions on what to try and how to try it. The food was great. All you can eat including drinks and dessert. We will definitely be back.

Hot Pot delicious good service comes with drinks and ice cream

If you like soups and hot pots, this is a must try! All you can eat for $32, different types of meats (angus beef, pork, lamb, chicken, etc), veggies, and other toppings/condiments! Superb service, and friendly staff. Place is clean and spacious! I'm definitely coming back with friends and family!

Great selection of toppings. Excellent buffet style- food was clean and delicious! This is my 2nd time ever trying AYCE hot pot and I will definitely come back to this place. Awesome service, was greeted with a warm smile. The dining room ambiance feels like a cafeteria: spacious and brightly lit with calming music playing from the kitchen. What a most delicious place to find!!! Upon arrival I was greeted and welcomed. David was my server and you will be lucky if he is there to take care of you. Most attentive, and considerate to get the food out as soon as it was ready. The owners both came and said hello and made sure everything was going well at my table. I ordered the Mongolian Burger with lamb! Talk about amazing! The meat is so tender and full of flavor. The bread is so freaking good! It's freshly made for each sandwich. It is warm, and has the most wonderful soft chewy texture. Also had the beef noodle soup. The beef is cooked perfectly tender, falls apart in your mouth. The bok choy was crisp yet tender, perfectly cooked. The soup is made with fresh bone broth. So very good. A little salad comes with the Mongolian Burger, it has the best dressing. I am looking so forward to returning to this cute little place. Hopefully it's tomorrow! read more

We had the best experience here with our kids! My son is super picky about what he eats and so him saying he loved this Mongolian soup experience was fantastic! When you walk in, you immediately get greeted and asked if you have been there before. If you haven't been able to explain the service that you are about to get and the different ways that you can order food and eat. I highly suggest doing the $34 per person soup meal where you get to pick out your own individual meats and veggies that you want in your soup which are on the food bars! They will also help you create a sauce if you want to dip your food from the soup to heat it up and cook it into the dipping sauce. Do you have many to choose from and sometimes it is hard to decide. The $34 person meal comes with the forever soup (meaning; they keep refilling it...lol ), your choice of meats and veggies, a drink (you have to grab yourself from the fridge), and ice cream from the freezer that you get to choose which one you want. All in all great experience, great service, and a great ambiance. Especially loved that. We got the owner that waited on us and told us the whole background story of why he opened it, and how it came to be. Highly recommend and I would present pictures usually, but it was so good and we were so hungry. We dug in without realizing we never took one picture...lol! read more

Brand new restaurant that just opened slightly over a month ago. Very clean. The beef noodle soup is very tasty and comes with a generous amount of chunky tender beef. The restaurant also offers all-you-can eat hotpot all day everyday, serving fresh ingredients. A thoughtful aspect is that for to-go orders, they would actually box the rice/noodle separately from the meat/vegetables so that they don't become all mushy. Service is superb. The server, Lucy, is polite, friendly and very attentive. I'd recommend friends and family. read more

Excelent ToGo quick bite "rou jia mo", I took a bite and realized I should review this amazing beef and lamb burger sandwich creation. I didn't expect them to serve such a savory burger. One was definitely more than enough, I expected them to be really small so I ordered 2. I ended up overstuffing myself because they were so good. Judging by the flavor of these I'm expecting alot from their other offerings like beef noodle soup and their ayce hot pot. Will be back soon. read more

Sitting there watching everyone else eat while my food was nowhere to be found was incredibly frustrating. But the real nightmare started when the bill arrived. Because we were a party of 7, they automatically added an 18% service charge to our checks. We split the bill, meaning that 18% was quietly tacked onto every single person's total. The waitress conveniently "forgot" to mention this to us, and since the service was already mediocre at best, we all tipped an additional 18% on top of the total. During my trip to Temecula, I unexpectedly discovered a hidden gem -- Mongo House Restaurant. This place is absolutely worth a visit! The value for money is unbeatable, the ingredients are super fresh, the restaurant is clean with no unpleasant odors, and even the restroom was spotless -- a rare find! Their all-you-can-eat hot pot is truly impressive. The broth is flavorful and free of MSG, offering a clean and natural taste. The meat selection includes Angus beef, grass-fed lamb, and chicken -- all unlimited and generously served. You can literally eat to your heart's content. The self-serve bar is packed with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, and a full selection of sauces and condiments to customize your flavor. What really stood out was the warm hospitality. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the staff are polite and attentive. Most importantly, the pricing is much more reasonable than most other restaurants -- no hidden fees or minimums, just honest and affordable dining. I'm already planning to go back tomorrow to try more dishes. This place is a must-try if you're in Temecula! read more

Craving hot pot? This place is such a gem! It's all-you-can-eat hot pot at a really good price, and the setup is super cute. I love that it's individual hot pots, so everyone gets to customize their own. They offer two soup options to start, and the meats are great quality. The pork belly and beef brisket were definitely the standouts for me. There's also a self-serve station with fresh veggies, seafood, and plenty of sauce choices, which made it fun to build everything just the way I like it. The price even includes 1 drink option and ice cream to finish off the meal, which is such a nice touch. On top of all that, the service was great. The staff was attentive, checking in often to make sure we had everything we needed and keeping our soups refilled. Overall, it's a solid spot for AYCE hot pot with good quality and value. I'd definitely come back again! read more

We had such a great time at Mongol House in Temecula! The ambiance was open and inviting, loved the decor, and the individual hot pots were such a unique touch. It made the experience fun and interactive, even for our young kids (ages 5 and 7), with close supervision of course (the pots can get VERY hot). The sauce bar and side dishes were self-serve, which we really enjoyed since we could grab what we wanted, when we wanted. The cuts of meat were fresh and delicious, and the servers brought everything out quickly. Drinks like Arizona teas, Sprite, and Coke were included with the AYCE price, which was a nice bonus. We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't busy, so the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. You can choose your spice level depending on how spicy you like your curry. I've tried spice level 2, which had good flavor and spice level 3, and I could taste the spice but it wasn't overpowering. Definitely get it with the fresh wasabi -- the combination was incredible and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The restaurant is very modern and clean, they have comfortable dining chairs, indoor and outdoor seating available. The food was good. Everything was tasty- the miso soup, the habibi roll, the short ribs (very sweet like Korean BBQ), hibachi, salad (loved the dressing), California roll! The edamame was undercooked so it made it harder to slip the soybeans out. Our server also forgot to put in one of our sushi rolls and when we asked for it, told us the kitchen was closed already so we said it was ok and to disregard. I do see other reviews stating the same so I hope management takes notice . And the little secret here was AWESOME! The Tokyo style lights + good drinks + amazing bartenders make the atmosphere such a comfortable and welcoming experience. I will definitely be returning! Shoutout to sauce for being such a cool dude and taking great care of us. Also Lorena, was such a great coordinator and so sweet!

Everything we tried was pretty good, but the honey chicken was the standout for me. Super flavorful and honestly kind of addicting. The only thing I'd skip next time is the fried rice, but overall this place hits the spot when you're craving Chinese takeout. Pretty delicious and generous portions.
