If there were 6 stars I would give this place this rating. Food delicious, hot pots so fun and cute. Everyone gets their own hot pot so you can spice up the Broth to your liking. Many vegetables; assorted noodles, eggs. The service was excellent!!

The ladies that work here are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs! They run the business smoothly and are quick with their service. It was my first time here and we had a party of 8. 7 of us decided to get the all you can eat hot pot, while our mom got the beef noodles (refills available). The hotpot came with two options for soup: tomatoes or beef bone. You get to choose the spice level and choices of protein. The best part is the venerable bar that they have with endless options. There's a sauce bar and a seafood bar for you to choose from, too. They also have taro sesame balls or gyoza. Of course, that doesn't end with that! They also have self serve ice cream. All of this comes along with the all you can eat part of the menu. Beverages are also included from their fridge. The food was quick and great! Everything was hot and we got to cook it ourselves in their beautiful pots. They kept coming back to check on us and asking if we needed anymore meat! The interior was clean and spacious. Had beautiful decor and a beautiful horse image, too! Can't wait to come back again for some delicious soup!

Food: 5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 4 I went to The Mongol House for dinner with a group of girlfriends and was so pleasantly surprised. This place is GOOD, GOOD. It's a hot pot spot, and honestly, I'm usually not the biggest hot pot fan, but it was a cold, rainy night, so hot soup sounded perfect and it absolutely hit the spot. The restaurant is bright and clean. Service was friendly and more on the efficient side rather than overly chatty, which worked well for the pace of the meal. When you arrive, you pick your soup base and spice level, and then choose your proteins which are unlimited. Next, you head to the salad and side bar, which has tons of goodies including veggies, seafood add ins, noodles, tofu, and more. There's also a section with fried snacks like egg rolls and potstickers. My favorite part was the sauce station where you can mix your own dipping sauce. It was fun and made the experience feel even more personalized. The food itself was delicious and very fresh. There were lots of great choices, and everything was simple but extremely tasty. They refilled our soup a few times throughout the night, and we appreciated the attentiveness. We all ate so well, and the flavors were comforting and satisfying. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend The Mongol House for anyone craving hot pot, especially on a chilly day

A hidden Mom & Pop, family run gem in Temecula! We ater dinner here recently (Myself, wife and youngest son). They were getting busy around the time we arrived on 1730 on a Saturday night. Luckily we were able to be seated right away, because soon after we started, there was a growing waiting list to be seated. After our meat selections were ordered by a very personable gentleman, we walked up to a very clean and neatly organized area thyta offered your veggies, sauce station and seafood proteins. While the selection here was not as extensive at some of the other AYCE Hot Pot restaurants we have eaten at, what was offered here was fresh, clean, and appetizing to look at. The same for their sauce station. They have the basics, that if you get creative enough, you can make yourself a really decent tasting dipping sauce. Their chili oil was really hot, which I really liked! The sliced beef that we ordered (several rounds) were sliced thinly which made for fast cooking in your own individual broth pot. The meat that we we all chose was fresh tasty, with more meat than fat and gristle like one can get in some other AYCE Hot Pot places. The servers here all are very friendly, patient with answering any questions posed to them and attentive to refilling our broth pots when needed and checking to see if we were ready for another round of meat. The beverage selection included your mainstream sodas as well as Arizona Teas in several flavors, which for one flat price, is unlimited. Justb help yourself to the cooler adjacent to the complimentary ice cream (which when we went was tubs from Thrifty's). We are very lucky to have a such a reasonably priced AYCE Hot Pot close to us that offers fresh, quality ingredients for making your own hot pot. One note, the hot pots they use require canned sterno type product to heat your individual hot pots, so there is a lingering smell of the burning fire gel in the restaurant. They do try to keep the restaurant ventilated, but if you have respiratory issues or or sensitive to odors, you may want to be cognizant of this. We will definitely be regulars at Mongol House!

$32.95 AYCE hot pot. Good service. I think the owner must treat his employees well. So they can happily work there. You order the meat from the menu. Good portion and quality. You can take other ingredients from the buffet counter. Food is fresh. The only thing I don't like is the sesame oil. It doesn't taste or smell like sesame oil. Hot pot is my favorite food. I went to all kind of different hot pot restaurants and I always have sesame oil at home all the time. I know what sesame oil suppose to taste like. Other than that. All good. I will definitely come back.

I'm so happy that an AYCE hot pot restaurant has finally opened in Temecula. I had been hoping one would open here for a long time, so it truly feels like a wish come true. When I went there, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The broth and ingredients were all delicious, and I was completely satisfied. This was so much fun!! The seating are is medium sized. The room was well lit and we didn't have to wait to be seated. The server made up dipping sauces for us and had lots of suggestions on what to try and how to try it. The food was great. All you can eat including drinks and dessert. We will definitely be back.

Great addition to the Asian food scene in the city! I love the simplicity of this place, just choose your broth and meat then everything's up to you. They have the basic sides and sauces that are truly needed for hot pot. It's a smaller restaurant that provides a nice at home feel. I very much appreciated the staff. The Temecula restaurant scene continues to vastly improve! This is a great new addition, having been only open less than two months. The Hotpot was very flavorful (although lighter broth than say Tasty Pot which is super flavorful on its own). This one is more like a cross between a Chinese Hotpot and Shabu Shabu, which you more add flavors through sauces or ingredients. I love that you are able to make your own sauce as well as pick only the ingredients that you like. I try to cut down on the carbs, so I can make it a "healthy" meal as well. They have a pretty good selection at the bar, although I typically eat only a few different things, I like having a choice. One suggestion I have it is to put some labels or maybe a legend off to the side. Even some things I've already tried, I forget what they are. Like the fish balls(?), they have several different kinds that look alike. There are some in particular that I like way more than others. I also like that they have Kimchi! Ingredients were fresh. The meat was especially good quality. I like that they have napkins at the table because I tend to make a little mess with a Hotpot. Drinks in the can and ice cream are included. Much appreciated, although I usually don't partake. Service was top notch too. I also tried the Beef Noodle Soup. It was exceptionally good. Really satisfied my craving that I've had for a long time. I don't know of any place that has this dish close by. And this appears to be authentic. It used to be one of my favorite dishes in LA Chinatown. I want to try the burger next time, but I want to get the Hotpot or the beef noodles too, so have a little problem deciding. This is another one added to my favorites list. Visited this brand new restaurant on a cold, rainy Saturday. We ordered AYCY hot pot for me and braised pork over rice for my fiancé. My broth came out quickly in what got to be the most beautiful hot pot I've had. The vegetables and proteins (seafoods, tofu and noodles) are available at the open bars in an AYCE style). Thinly sliced beef and chicken also brought to my table. Everything was fresh, organized and delicious. My fiancé enjoyed his pork belly and egg over rice very much. He said it was tender and full of flavor. Our waiter, David, was very attentive and pleasant. He checked on us several times and topped off our water and hot pot. Hot pot order comes with an ice cream dessert at the end of the meal. It was an excellent experience for us. We will definitely come back soon. read more

She also made sure to check on us frequently throughout the meal as well. We ordered 4 boba drinks (not the best we've had, but still refreshing on a hot day) and a bunch of apps to share family style plus the miso hot pot which is a huge portion. All the hot pot places I have ever been to from San Diego to Hawaii, you just choose your broth and that is simmering while you go pick out your pre-plated veggies and meats that you want. The way this is premade being on heat the entire meal, made everything soggy, unfortunately. The broth was ok, more umami flavor from the konbu than actual miso flavor. Nothing included in the hot pot really had any flavor unless you used their sauce on the table, the soybean chili was my favorite. The appetizers were really good, from the rocket shrimp to the beef skewers, my favorite was the pork egg roll which was fried in rice paper. They give you complementary rice and vermicelli noodles along with an amazing sweetened Japanese green tea with your hot pot order as well. Our youngest enjoyed the popcorn chicken and the french fries the most. Ended up spending $120 after tip for lunch for four which is pricey, but we definitely paid for the experience and novelty.

It made the experience fun and interactive, even for our young kids (ages 5 and 7), with close supervision of course (the pots can get VERY hot). The cuts of meat were fresh and delicious, and the servers brought everything out quickly. Drinks like Arizona teas, Sprite, and Coke were included with the AYCE price, which was a nice bonus. Stop in today for Dinner, Right away the servers were extremely friendly and welcoming. They explained to us how Hot Pot works. They do individual Hot Pots which is very convenient. The meat selection was great too. They also have Full Size Arizona Drinks included with the All You Can Eat Hot Pot. They even have Thrifty Ice Cream for dessert that's also included in the AYCE Hot Pot. I would definitely be coming back! read more

The customer service was one of the best I've had and the food was delicious. A respectable amount of food for what they charge as well as a nice selection of what they serve. David, who was our server, was genuine and kind, constantly asking us if we needed help or if we wanted more food. This place has a very homey ambiance and great ice cream. read more

Tried Mongol House and the noodles were amazing. Fresh, chewy, and full of flavor -- exactly how good handmade noodles should taste. The food and service here are great. A lot of variety, including seafood and meat. This is all you can eat hotpot, including drinks/soda within the price. I like that the server is very attentive and ask if we need anything else every certain minutes. read more
