Salmon toast
Sabrina K.

The service was great, they were very kind, frequently checked on us, and tended to our needs. The location was convenient: we had about 1.5 hours between trains at Roma Termini, it was pretty easy to access even with roller carry ons. Additionally the service was fast. However, the food/drinks were pretty average. We got the salmon toast and margherita pizza, as well as the caffe shakerato and an Americano. Not sure if we just selected the wrong things but we were unimpressed.

So many choices

Does brisk business Try to know what you want before you approach the counter Staff was wonderful They were fluent in English but appreciated my efforts in Italian Food was excellent I can recommend the pistachio pastries My hot chocolate was very good It's *busy* Ppl are trying to get in and out enroute to work Tho spacious, we still had to search out available seats, Most settle for the window seats There was a gentleman begging outside He did some brisk business too But remained polite, non aggressive in his interactions Everyone in our large party enjoyed their selections

Pizza al taglio - a small sample of their typical offerings.

This has been my go-to for Pizza al taglio in Rome. Always a broad selection of toppings. Crust is perfect - thick but airy and light with good chew. Also has excellent on-tap beers. Very friendly staff. Easy to get from the Termini station and the Monte neighborhood.

Pizza with salmon; yummy; margherita pizza; tasty but I've had better

This place was right near our hotel. The food we've had here has been great. We bought croissants for on the go breakfast; they were flaky and tasty. The real winner here is the pizza though! We stopped in for a quick late dinner. We took the slices to go, and the crusts were thick and fluffy with some crunch on the outside. This was some of the best pizza I've ever had! We tried sausage and mushroom, anchovies and olives (seemed to be Napoli style), and caprese with balsamic glaze. My hands-down favorite was the caprese; it was well seasoned and delicious. My husband's favorite with the Napoli style. What was interesting is that they charge pizza by weight, so you select how large of a slice you want. It was quite affordable, about 13 euros for three filling slices that we shared. They will also heat it up for you. We both agreed it was some of the best pizza we've ever had. We ate here a couple of times during our five day stay in Rome. I will definitely miss the caprese pizza when I return to the US.

We found this place by chance and I would highly recommend it! I absolutely love going to places that sell slices so you aren't limited to 'one flavor pizza'. What I thought was brilliant, is that they cut the slices however big or small you'd like, then charge by weight. I am sorry I do not remember the actual names, one had Mortadella (my fave and obsession while in Italy), one had thin sliced potatoes and one had fresh greens, cherry tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Fabulous flavors and choices. We only had pizza and diet coke. We did get to try coffee & dessert. I would absolutely come here again!!

It's 5:30 and they are busy!

In Rome, near the main train station, which we have to get to tomorrow early to get to the airport... we got a place to stay the night. Once in our room we wanted to find somewhere to eat. It was early by Italian dinner time (6 pm) but this placed was packed! Now one thing we noticed, many Italian go out after work for a coffee or drink with a pastry, then go home and then go out to dinner much later. Being we had a long day, we were happy we could a nice slice of pizza, wonderful mozzarella salad and pasta with cheese and pepper; which we split each, with wine/ beer. It was perfect snd though the menu was Italian and English they were helpful.

I can't say that we delved deeply into the menu here. Just got a cappuccino e cornetto. It was great, beautiful setting, can't ask for much more.

This was a great spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The food was tasty and always served hot! Loved the cacio e pepe meatballs! The potatoes and fries are fabulous! Also loved the Greco salad! It was perfect for the group! Service was fabulous! Recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

We stayed at the hotel across the street with the same name and got a nice little discount. Molino was very good and had a number of pastries and lunch items that we wanted to try. The service was ok, it seemed like they didn't cater to Asians as well as "locals", which was unfortunate because the food was really good. The tarts were tasty and the pizza was delicious! If only I could try some of the other offerings but there was the rest of Italy to try. This place was good enough to try twice for breakfast and lunch on different days in Rome. We had a ginger tea and cappuccino. Spinach pie, chocolate croissant, fruit tart, and a amazing pizza. Prices were reasonable compared to the US. Croissant's we're €2 plus coffee. €6 or less for a nice breakfast the pizza was €10 and the tart €7.

Not sure I get all the positive reviews. Was there in Oct. Maybe they were having a bad day. Disorganized order/getting food process. Guy behind counter was super rude to American tourists(and yes, I had learned some Italian). The food was just meh. This was the only bad experience our entire time in Italy. I'll pass

I came to Italy for a week and this was one of my favorite restaurants. You can grab and go or sit down and dine in here. Their pizzas were really great and they always had various options. We also really enjoyed some of their other desserts and small snacks. The servers and customers here were very friendly and the space so clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would come back here again if I find myself in Rome again.

This place was amazing! The server was very friendly and the food was just bursting with flavors. We just got meatballs and a pizza but it was made to order and tasted incredible!

Amazing pizza, coffee and pastry. Across from Santa Maria majori cathedral. Nice and friendly staff.

Drinks are cheap (although their well vodka was pretty harsh) and there is free wifi so you can post the day's worth of pictures on your social media outlet of choice! I also got one of the sipping chocolates. Super rich and luxurious. Goes great with harsh vodka!

She ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza (although the meat seemed like ham to me) and it was pretty good. The following day I returned and ordered a white pizza and a prosciutto pizza. The white pizza came out like a giant warm salty cracker with olive oil--I think they forgot the cheese? I was a bit tired, so I might have misread the menu when I selected and asked for white pizza. The prosciutto pizza was incredible. It was crunchy, the sauce was a bit sweet and it hit all the right spots. We paid much less than anticipated and that was an added bonus. We haven't ordered wine here (yet) but they have a decent selection at a decent price range. In addition, the bottles of water are priced better than most places so we stocked up on a water stash. I recommend giving this place a try.

Yeah, I saw the segment about this legendary late-night bakery on Andrew Zimmern's Rome episode…read more And yeah, I was further intrigued by the famous sign with the provocative slang connotation that greets visitors as they carefully head down the somewhat treacherously steep staircase into this unique and somehow exciting basement space. What I wasn't prepared for was the very personal and intimate encounter with the founder/owner/chief cook/probably not bottle-washer who is Antonio Lambiase. We arrived "early" (about 23:00 on a Friday night in July) to find the maestro hard at work crafting his famous pastries for the crowds of nocturnal visitors that were sure to follow. Although he spoke almost no English, we were able to communicate through my very limited Italian and the help of a couple of his immigrant assistants who had also had limited abilities in the two languages. My wife and I found him to be perfectly charming, playful as well as typically Italian. He didn't hesitate to ask me how old I thought he was and to flex his biceps to demonstrate his fitness and machismo. When we showed interest in several of the items already completed he came around from behind his work station with a piping bag full of whipped cream which he proceeded to squirt on the backs of our hands for tasting and made romantic suggestions by drawing hearts with the cream. Needless to say, this was not an experience that we will soon forget. We made a fairly large purchase of an assortment of his sweet concoctions and took them to go to enjoy back at our hotel. I'd like to report that they were as memorable, but actually they were just ok. During our two weeks in Italy we certainly enjoyed much better pastry, but on a late night after reveling with friends I could easily see myself returning to this super cool spot!
