The line was long but it went by fast- I was disappointed tho the lady fingers were kind of stale. So the coffee didn't absorb into them just kind of wet the if that makes sense. The presentation looked beautiful on the box but u have to ask for the garnish or they don't put it on. I've had better. It was just ok.
Another place where we didn't plan to stop but saw a bunch of Asian tourist taking photos in front of the shop with the Tiramisu. Figured it'd be a good place to try. The Tiramisu was a good size and came in a compostable box and tasted delicious. The service was quick and easy, you go pay first at the back of the store, grab your receipt and tell the lady up front what flavor you'd like with your purchase. They had so many flavor but the lady grabbing the Tiramisu mentioned that her favorite is still the original. The store is decent sized but no seating indoors. That's probably why there were so many ppl outside chowing down the dessert. Looks like they have various dessert and gelatos, maritozzi and coffees. I was definitely spoiled with tiramisu options in Rome and I have to say this wasn't my favorite. Not sure if they were cranking it out too fast or too slow but the tiramisu I received was more room temperature rather than cold. So maybe they just received them in the store from delivery... but the flavor was on point and I love the crunchy topping they add before sending you off with it. I don't mind tourist traps if they were good, and the pricing wasn't too expensive. Definitely understand the hype!
Probably my favorite tiramisu I've ever had. Got the original one and later tried the pistachio. Definitely prefer the original but both were really good. The cream flavor combined with the texture of everything was super good. I'm not a big coffee lover, so it was great for me because that wasn't super strong. I also appreciated how the cake didn't seem completely soaked and wet, which I usually don't like in other tiramisus I've had.
If you are looking for tiramisu then this is the spot. They got all types of tiramisu made daily. They even had unique and interesting flavors that you cannot get anywhere. Their most popular flavors include the Hazelnut, Strawberry, Pistachio, and Traditional. I got their strawberry flavor which turned out better than expected. One portion is pretty large for one person and is definitely shareable for two people. It was a little too sweet for me but still really good. Besides tiramisu they also had other dessert items there like cakes, canollis, and gelato. It's a grab and go type of place since there is no where to sit inside and enjoy your treat. I recommend if you are nearby and craving some tiramisu.
Nice to have many of these tiramisu shops throughout Italy. A very safe bet with a good variety of other flavoured tiramisus which I've never seen before in Canada. Opted for the strawberry, pistachio and original. Original has a great coffee taste and the cream is fresh. Strawberry reminded me of eating a strawberry shortcake. Pistachio I could have gone without. Package was overall nice but it is paper so it doesn't hold up too well.
When in Italy, one must try one of the best tiramisu in Rome. With an array of different flavors to choose from, my son chooses the Classico (can't go wrong with the traditional) and I go with the Pistachio. I couldn't really taste any pistachio and I regret not getting the strawberry instead. As for texture it was what good tiramisu should be. I will admit I couldn't fully enjoy it to the fullest because we just came from another dessert spot. I was seriously on a sugar high at this point. But had to hit up this popular spot. #FOMO!! There is no seating inside. You can stand outside and eat it in the alleyway. Service was friendly, the guy advised us to eat it within a certain amount of time.
Personally, I'm not a huge coffee person, so I really enjoyed their non-coffee flavor selections! The strawberry and the pistachio ones were the best I've had! So it is definitely my favorite Tiramisu place. After we made the order, the put the fresh toppings on top before box it up and give it to use. They had other locations in Florence too. When I was there, I went back to Pompi and got the strawberry one again. I'm sad that the mango & passionfruit flavor is only summer time limited. Would love to try those too! The staff are super friendly. It is more of a grab and go place, so we brought it to somewhere to eat since they give you utensils and bag too.

I'm shocked that I liked it more than the strawberry one because I'm not a coffee/chocolate person. However this tiramisu is out of this world!!
Pompi was my favorite tiramisu spot in Rome for flavor, convenience, and price. This location is near the Spanish Steps, so convenient when visiting the area. The store wasn't busy, so the process was quick as well. First, you order and pay in the back counter. Then you'll get a ticket to claim your tiramisu at the display case. We got one Classic Tiramisu (€5), which was perfectly boxed up. I like that they sprinkled the pistachio one only when you order, so it keeps it fresh and crunchy. The coffee flavor is strong and creamy. Even days later, it tasted just as good too, especially with the flavor soaked into the ladyfingers. It's the perfect treat while exploring Rome or to take back to your place to enjoy afterwards. read more

Pompi is a very popular tiramisu shop and has a couple locations throughout Rome. We went to this location since it was close to the Spanish Steps. You'll first order and pay at the cashier, then take the receipt to the bakery counter to retrieve the order. We went with the Classic Tiramisu and enjoyed it! It was a tasty and sweet treat after our dinner. I would definitely come back here for tiramisu when I'm back in Rome and would love to try the other flavors as well. read more
decent spot for tiramisu! it's five euros for a serving of any flavor. the tiramisu was good but nothing exceptional. it's very close tot he shopping district and Spanish steps which is nice! service is fast and everything is pre-made. no seats, so you'll need to take your dessert to go, read more

The female server is very rude, impatient and not welcoming. Other than that, the restaurant looks great. I got the Classic Tiramisu. This has less strong coffee compared to Two Sizes which i like it! read more

Personally, I'm not a huge coffee person, so I really enjoyed their non-coffee flavor selections! The strawberry and the pistachio ones were the best I've had! Tiramisu was delicious!! Classico flavor was my favorite - very strong coffee flavor. We also got pistachio one to try, which has more of a milky flavor and a very light pistachio flavor. They have a couple other flavors as well, some of which are seasonal, but Classico is a must in my opinion! read more

This place has some delicious tasting desserts, so it's not a bad place to stop for a late night craving. However, the reason it has only three stars is because it is not authentic Italian, and is a bit of a tourist traps. They have tiramisu and gelato, but also milkshakes, which is very American and upset me a bit. There is better dessert in Florence so I'd keep looking but if you can't find any then this place isn't bad. Again; it's a bit of a tourist trap read more

Sadly disappointed. It's right next to where we are staying. We tried three different flavors of gelato. All three tasted gritty, not smooth and creamy. The portion was at the level of the cup, everywhere else we've been the gelato is piled on top (sometimes dangerously high). We also purchased a cannoli. The cream wasn't very flavorful and didn't have that luscious, creamy filling (you can see how it looks gritty) . The shell was quite thick. The reason they have three stars, instead of two, is their nociolosa al pistacchio (nutty pistachio) cake. Very tasty sponge, topped with cream, covered in a shell with pistachios. Pompi is a full service bakery with a variety of grab and go sweets and treats. Don't sleep on their tiramisu though -- this is what they are best known for. Tiramisu comes in a variety of flavors and is served in the cutest little to-go box. If you are feeling crazy you can even spring for a variety box with four different flavors. I'm a sucker for pistachio anything, so I just had to try the pistachio flavor. Unsurprisingly, the tiramisu was delicious. Silky and smooth, and when shared between two is the perfect small and sweet afternoon snack. If I hadn't just downed an entire bowl of cacio e pepe I could have easily taken down an entire tiramisu by myself. The cannoli also looked outstanding. I regret not ordering that, so you probably should if you find yourself at Pompi. Only knocking off a star because service was very rushed. Otherwise, this was quite literally a sweet experience. read more
So nice we went twice during our stay in Rome! We found this lovely shop close to the Spanish steps. This is hands-down some of the best classic tiramisu I've had in a while - nice texture, and you can definitely taste the coffee! We also tried the chocolate cake, another great option and the pistachio roche - also really good. On another trip we tried the pistachio tiramisu, but true winner was the classic tiramisu. Just a note: you tell them what you want at the cashier and it is given to you over the counter once you present your receipt to them. Highly recommended if you're nearby! read more

Berry tiramisu was really good. Don't worry about it being a chain, I honestly wish the chain would come to the US and invade us with real delicious tiramisu like we had here. Light, fluffy, like eating the dream of all dreams of tiramisu. I'm happy we went. read more

Conveniently located by the Spanish steps and the metro, came here for some tiramisu that some websites say local Italians frequent. I assume this is for the convenience because I'm not sure how fresh the tiramisu actually is. We got the Classic and strawberry, both were fine but not the best we've had. The strawberry was more like strawberry shortcake if you're not into espresso, and they also have dairy free options, which is nice. read more

Hands down, the best Tiramisu I have ever had. I can't even begin to describe how fantastic this place is. We went with the classic, and it was absolutely worth every cent. We got our delivered to us and at first we thought it was going to be mediocre since it looked prepackaged and was half frozen... boy were we wrong. If you're on the fence, please just order it! super quick and easy service! Located in such a perfect spot after you're exhausted from shopping you definitely need to stop by to get your sweet tooth fix. Variety of selection, very organized and very quick and easy. Workers are extremely helpful and very kind and patient. We opted to try as much flavors as possible, we got banana, hazelnut, strawberry and original tiramisu. All of which were delicious. All of them are surprisingly airy and creamy, not too sweet. This past summer, I took a two week tour of Italy, visiting many major cities. I made it a personal goal for me to eat Tiramisu EVERY SINGLE DAY of the trip. I am not exaggerating when I say so as I really did. Every single day, in every city I went to. I was an amateur tiramisu connoisseur. I was a bit skeptical at first as this place was a chain, and as all of you know chains are not usually as good as mom and pop or private stores. But boy was I wrong. This place was if not the best, one of the best tiramisus I had in all of Italy. In addition to original, they had different flavors like strawberry etc. I did not want to disrespect tiramisu by tasting it with strawberry, so I went with the original. We came here because of all the great reviews. The selection and options are vast and would satisfy any sweet tooth. We specifically came for tiramisu and ended up getting a gelato as well. The tiramisu was delicious, I would say it was similar to Whole Foods tiramisu. The gelato was also light and delicious. Customer service was none existent, the girl at the counter was very rude and no help in suggesting anything. Her English was not very good and when I tried talking to her in Italian she got offended for not understanding her. Anyways would not go to this location but maybe the others to try. read more
Close to via del corso (shopping area) and spanish steps. Came here because we heard their tiramisu is one of the best! Other baked goods and gelato also looked amazing. They sell ground coffee but do not make it. An array of tiramisu flavors (pistachio, chocolate and banana, strawberry, classic, hazelnut etc). 4 euros for a box a bit bigger than your hand. Ordered a classic tiramisu to be split between 3 people. Creamy, fluffy, perfect mixture of coffee and cream. Personally I would have enjoyed more lady fingers. We finished it outside within minutes.
