This is my first time having a Maritozzo and it is SOOO freaking good. There was a line about 20 minutes on a Thursday around 10am. The maritozzo is so light and fluffy that even if it looked big and heavy it was so easy to finish one. The canoli here is also delicious and crispy!! Also got a chocolate filled bigne and the chocolate filling was divine. Definitely see how this place is super popular.

Came here to try to their viral pastries we saw on Instagram. Line was out of the door even during early morning. Bakery has two entrances, one where you order food and drink and the seconds entrance where you show your ticket to get your coffee. There was just 2 small tables outside and a few inside by the 2nd entrance. Coming to pastries, they were quite plan. Though light, the flavor profile was missing and we didn't understand the hype behind their signature pasteries, overall a lackluster experience.

Worth the 25 minute walk? Maybe. Really good? Yes. I tried Regoli by recommendation of where locals go and was happy to as a first time Maritozzi. The bread for the Maritozzi was ultra soft and I think, easily, why these are a local favorite. The cream was very subtle and not sweet at all. My favorite pastry/dessert however was the crostatine! Delicious. I also tried the tiramisu which I thought was ok, but I'm not usually a big fan of it so I didn't think much of it. Service was great as they gave me recommendations of what else to try and there are so many other pastries that if you have room in your belly, try them!

On my most recent trip to Rome, I arrived early in the morning. After checking into my apartment, we were looking for a light breakfast somewhere close by. Our host recommended Regoli and told us that they are a popular spot. So we made our way. Service (3/5): A bit confusing. Regoli has two entrances with different doors. One is where you place your order. The second is where you go to dine in if you're staying. Which is what we ended up doing. Ambiance (3/5): Pretty much your typical bakery. Clean and comfortable. Though a little tight and narrow. Drinks (N/A): No beverages for me on this visit, though there are plenty of coffee options for all of the coffee drinkers out there. Food (3/5): Regoli is famous for its maritozzi. What is a maritozzi you might ask? If you've had pannetone, the core of the maritozzi is similar. And then it's topped with frosting. It's a light dessert but one that was pretty plain in my mind. I was expecting more given how much hype this dessert gets. Maybe other people enjoy it more than I do. It was something new to try, so I did appreciate that. While we dined in, a lot of people grab and go here too.

Delicious pasticceria in a wonderful neighborhood. Place is pretty popular in the area and service was outstanding. Their caffè is next door where you can order and drink coffee at the bar. Mood was steady as this place has heavy foot traffic in the morning but so worth it.

Came here twice because the pastries were so delicious. The coffee was top tier. The server was so friendly. Asked us a little about where we were from and why we were visiting. Even remembered us the second time we went. But that could have been because of my butchered way of trying to order in Italian. He was probably the most friendly local we met during our week long trip. Very little seating but your coffee and pastry are meant to be enjoyed at the bar while standing, the Italian way.

This place is an iconic staple in the Roman pastry arsenal. In my recent trip to Rome this place held the crown for the absolute best maritozzi. Lightweight and packed with flavor, I will not be forgetting this place anytime soon. The business was on the smaller side and had plenty of customers making it a little hard to navigate through however the service was very professional and patient. I had a great time at this place!

    Mostly eaten maritozzi

We heard this place is popular so we arrived shortly after they opened and it was already poppin with locals getting their fix el banco. We opted to grab one of the few tables street-side to enjoy our treats. We of course went for the classic maritozzi. Our boys loved the pistachio cream-filled croissants. They went back for two additional servings and we forgot to take photos. One recommendation is to make sure you carve out some time to drop into the bakery next door to grab some treats for takeaway. There was a consistent flow of traffic. I regret not grabbing a panettone, but a great excuse to return sooner than later.

I think we found heaven ! As others have posted the tips were a life savor. The lady behind the counter was a gem and patient with our selections. All were a 10/10 with the family. My favorite was the pistachio and cherry danish. A local at a coffee saw us carrying the baked goods and gave us a thumbs up and a smile!

Came here to try a Maritozzi I was told a must try pastry in Rome. The cream on top was not very sweet the bun on the bottom was a sweet roll which was dense and moist. I also ordered a cappuccino and added some of the cream from the maritozzi to it I like how creamy it made my coffee. This place gets packed it took me a bit to figure out how to order. DONT just walk up to the counter and wait to be served, the people standing at the counter have already ordered. Instead squeeze behind them and stand in line against the wall until you make your way to the register then order your pastries and coffee and get a receipt. Then find a spot at the bar (standing room only) and give them your receipt and they'll get you your order. You'll see how busy this place is and how just 3 people handle this volume of customers is amazing. After having a few maritozzi around Rome I found others to have a sweeter cream. Just depends on your taste.

You have to visit when in rome. We waited probably 15-20 minutes to get inside since December 2021 they were only allowing like 2 customers at a time. Don't what is the protocol right now. But the wait was worth it. The place is long and narrow and honestly if you come here late a lot of the baked goods will be sold out. But we were lucky we got two things we wanted to try. Unfortunately don't even know the names since it's everything in Italian. We got a couple of pastries and yea they were amazing. I believe price is by the weight. The dark chocolate ball we got was filled with hazelnut and chocolate heaven very yummy

We were walking by and I was allured by the beautiful scrumptious looking pastries on their front window displays so I told my hubby, I wanted to check it out... Originally i wanted the fruit tart looking thing but then i realized there were sooooo many options that looked soooo good! Hubby loved cream puffs, so we got 1 coffee flavored large cream puff and then I notice they had small mini ones, so I asked them to give me varieties so that we could try them. It set us back around 7 euro and they wrapped it beautifully for us to take away. They were amazing! Loved all the custard filled puff things. The next day, we were again in the area (though in the back of my mind, I was hoping to get more goodies) ..so we did stop bu again, they were closing soon (it was almost 4pm on a sunday) so a lot of items were gone, but hubby spotted this creamy pudding lookalike with chocolate sauce all over it. We asked for 1, I was a bit surprised the price tag was 17 euro, but we thought it must be good if they charged that much...we later learned the name was profiteroles. The lady who helped us wrapped it in a nice box and gave us 4 plastic spoons so that we could eat it...(though there were only two of us, but I guess it was a 4 people portion lol). We chowed it down as we were riding the Leonardo Express to the airport...omg!!! It was a great ending to our Italy eating experience. It was rich, creamy, not too sweet, delicious!!!!!!!! If you're in Rome and in the area, please do yourself a favor and go there..forget about dieting, so worth it! We were

The strawberry tart that everyone's talking about. Maritozzo con pans were sold out so opted for Bigne con Pana. So good

Huge line up outside on Sunday morning. That's how I knew I found the right place. Had the Bignè con panna on-site with a cappuccino standing at the bar and watching people coming in and out. Many local Italians here who all seem to know each other. No idea what they are saying but just love listening to that beautiful language.

We ordered & sipped two glasses of wine outside, then placed a variety of dishes to share while they cleared the table: pasta, two small pizzas, baby octopus, Genovese (stewed beef), Arancino, and more wine/beer. Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
