We got the Ice Moka, Monachella (espresso and chocolate) and a couple of croissants. Both drinks were incredible - beautifully presented and perfect mix of coffee and chocolate. They only have outdoor seating which is great for people watching. There was only 1 server who was seating, taking and serving orders. He was doing a fantastic job of managing everything but I felt a little bad for him because of how much workload he has.

Although this cafe may look/feel like a tourist trap, it's really a great spot for good caffeine. We've been here multiple times over multiple years and the quality of the coffee has remained the same. The espresso is velvety smooth - easy to down multiple! They have an array of other drinks which are all very good. You can take away or sit down and order in the outside area. You will see both tourists and locals alike equally frequent.

Cute outdoor cafe and excellent selection of cappuccinos and baked goods. Inside the cafe is an abundance of gifts (coffee beans, candy, cups, etc.) that are great ideas for gifts to bring back home. There is only one server who is very helpful if you need some recommendations.

A staple espresso bar for a reason. Sant' Eustachio is always packed but the line moves quick and it's well worth the short wait. I tried the cappuccino and it was the best I had in Rome. Also got some coffee to bring home (excited to try) and the most lovely dark chocolate candies filled with coffee. Recommend checking this out.

Ordered: Ice Moka (~€8) Pistachio Cornetti (~€3) Chocolate Cornetti (~€3) Custard Cornetti (~€3): with strawberries on top Aya's take: My last stop in Rome before flying out! We stopped here after hearing a lot about it and honestly, it was good but I wasn't that impressed. Service is a bit slow considering nothing needed to be "made" except the coffee. It was filling and held me until I got on my flight. I'm sure you can find better cafes in the area, but if you find yourself here, you won't be too disappointed.

The presentation was lovely. The taste was ok. Service was kind and helpful. Best item was the plain latte.

Came here twice during my trip in Rome in Nov 2022. Sant' Eustachio Il Caffe is one of two SUPER popular cafe's around Pantheon which everyone, everywhere raves above. Little did I know you are supposed to order and pay at the cashier, then bring your ticket to the bar where they prepare your drinks for you. I knew Italy had the practice of quickly enjoying your drink at the bar and leaving vs sitting down at a table outside (which is an option but at a much higher price). Since this was our first cafe during our first visit in Rome, we had to do it like how the Italians do it and go with espressos w/ sugar. Essentially a shot of espresso with foam on top and brown sugar. You take the spoon provided, eat the sugar/foam then shot the espresso. VERY smooth, very flavorful, but much "weaker" than I expected (this began the ruin in taste buds as I can't drink anything lesser in terms of quality since) Guess this is how espresso is SUPPOSED to be ! Had came back near the end of my trip to pick up some coffee beans as well as some chocolate covered coffee beans for home for myself and gifts.

From Chicago, stopped in for a cup of coffee after a walking tour. --best coffee (5/5) I've had in Rome. I had a latte macchiato and it was sweet enough without adding sugar. --worst cannoli (1/5) I've ever had. They were wrapped in peanuts and, perhaps, peanut butter? Tasted like a granola bar. I would recommend for coffee.

Great location for a quick pick me up before or after visiting the Pantheon. The place is vibrant with all the yellow. The coffee was very strong and flavorful. I would have come back here if I had more time. Ordered in the right side then moved to the bar on the left side and was served quickly.

Omg, officially my favorite coffee place in the world. Their stuff is so delicious and they have such a fun collection of coffee items and souvenir items. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the coffee I got but it was so good! It was coffee with some sweet cream on top that just pulled the whole thing together especially for sweet tooths out there. Came back with a few souvenirs for clients and I highly recommend getting their coffee candy, total hit!

Came here as it's the best coffee place in Rome. Not that busy as I thought. It is better than most other coffee we had in Italy but not necessarily worth visit it if you don't have time. They do have some nice and cute souvenirs

We came to the Sant Eustachio Emporium on our last day in Rome, and it was a fantastic end to our trip. They have a strong emphasis on coffee/espresso but also have food/pastries. They have a little store you can buy coffee makers, chocolates, and other goodies you can take home with you. We sat down and were served within 10 minutes. The pastries were all tasty and the cappuccinos were in the top three that we had during our trip. The croistini (croissant) dough was sweet as it should be and filled with a good amount of chocolate. I'd also suggest trying Roscoli and Trecaffe to compare to here that way you are absolutely sure to get a great coffee/espresso. Not a super expensive breakfast either at $20 USD. I suggest coming here at least once during a trip to Rome.

This was the best coffee place i came across in Rome. They roast their own coffee and have a broad selection of coffee drinks. Boozy ones too ;)

Delish cappuccino and chocolate pastries. If you're in the area and want a caffe then this is the place to go.
