Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!

They do delivery services through mobile apps like DoorDash + GrubHub + Snackpass + Uber Eats. The service from staff is fast, although they might not always be the most friendly people working in there. Place is spotless clean, tidy, and organized. The sweet & savory crepes do look like the exact replicas from the display window ~ so no false advertising at all. The ambiance wise is a cute little shop. The savory crepes make a pretty good breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a quick snack on the go. As for the sweet crepes, it's a sweet little treat once in a while (two to three times in a month). The crepes are made with 100% rice flour. Additionally, they can be made gluten-free upon request to the staff from customers when paying with cash or card in the front counter. Every individual crepe is freshly made when customers have placed an order. Now, they've mini crepes on the menu if you don't wanna bite into a regular-sized version. You can choose to add a scoop of ice cream on the sweet crepe for an additional cost as well. My favorite sweet crepe is the Matcha Chocolate Truffles. It contains sliced strawberries + diced chocolate truffles + matcha custard cream + whipped yogurt + chocolate sauce + crushed pistachio. Has the right amount of sweetness and textures. Better eat really fast because the chocolate sauce & custard cream might start melting/leaking onto your hands. The crepe will become soggy too after 10-15 minutes or so. I think there's hand sanitizer or wipes if your hands do end up being sticky though. My favorite savory crepe is the Chicken Teriyaki. Definitely healthier and a bit more on the drier side compared to the sweet crepes with the chocolate sauce. The ingredients are chicken breast stripes + baby spinach leaves + diced carrots + corn pieces + red onions, sliced boiled eggs + sesame seeds + crunchy shallots. Sesame dressing & teriyaki sauce are drizzled on top to finish it off. Less messy to eat too because nothing is melting. Surprisingly, the crepe shell is still crispy even after 30 minutes if you're a slow eater like me! I enjoy stopping by once in a while for a sweet treat or a quick snack since it's the closest spot to my home.

Appalling, Contemptuous Treatment of a Paying Customer…read more Shockingly horrible customer service. On August 13, 2026, I placed an order at approximately 5:40 p.m. The restaurant accepted my payment and prepared and served my crêpe without mentioning that they would be closing shortly. Just a few minutes after serving me, an employee abruptly announced that they were closing in two minutes. When I asked what I was expected to do, he told me I had to leave at 6:00 p.m. and that he could package my crêpe to go. When I objected, he rudely told me that I "should have known" they closed at 6:00. If dine-in customers must leave promptly at closing, they should be informed before ordering. I could then have decided whether to order my food to go or eat elsewhere. Instead, they accepted my money, served me, and then almost immediately told me to leave--as though their failure to communicate were somehow my fault. When I asked the employee for his name, he sarcastically replied, "I don't have a name." He then offered to call the company himself but ultimately refused to do so. This was not a simple misunderstanding about closing time. The employee was rude, confrontational, dismissive, and openly contemptuous. A business cannot thrive when customer service is nonexistent--or, worse, when customers are treated with such disrespect. I will not patronize a business that permits its employees to treat customers this way.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERIVE! My friend and I ordered the strawberry shaved ice (large) with fruit toppings ($6). The lady gave us only a few slices of bananas and some pieces of un-ripe mango; the strawberry flavor also tasted really artificial. My friend and I could no longer consume such a horrible dessert so we walked back to the counter and told them our complaints. The lady who made our dessert immediately got really defensive and said "你们这钟人" which means "these types of people" and then said that it was because we were kids (my friend and I are both 17) that we were complaining. ????? When the other worker told her to just give us the small size of green tea she was displeased but obeyed, however she failed to put on any slices of fruit for us. When we left she continued glaring at us, even as we sat down and ate. P.s. The new one was tasteless and we ended up throwing much of it away. Also, we were not looking to get a refund. I even told her that but she got angry. My friend and I simply wanted another flavor because the strawberry one was disgusting! Sadly I did not take a picture of our original dessert but it was poorly placed and was mainly a mountain of pinkish ice. read more

The meat is cut down into small pieces that pick up flavor throughout and create a layered bite alongside the pickled vegetables. The tofu banh mi holds up well as a vegetarian option and carries a gingery, carrot forward flavor that works. The bread leans toward a softer, thicker cut rather than the thin, crackling crust of a more traditional Vietnamese version, but it still holds the fillings well without getting soggy. Service is fast and the overall experience is quick. The staff moves efficiently and our order came out in good time, which makes it a reliable option for a workday lunch when you do not have much time to spare.
