Love the crepes! And Sam is the greatest. I only go when she's there. Keep em coming!

Appalling, Contemptuous Treatment of a Paying Customer. Shockingly horrible customer service. On August 13, 2026, I placed an order at approximately 5:40 p.m. The restaurant accepted my payment and prepared and served my crêpe without mentioning that they would be closing shortly. Just a few minutes after serving me, an employee abruptly announced that they were closing in two minutes. When I asked what I was expected to do, he told me I had to leave at 6:00 p.m. and that he could package my crêpe to go. When I objected, he rudely told me that I "should have known" they closed at 6:00. If dine-in customers must leave promptly at closing, they should be informed before ordering. I could then have decided whether to order my food to go or eat elsewhere. Instead, they accepted my money, served me, and then almost immediately told me to leave--as though their failure to communicate were somehow my fault. When I asked the employee for his name, he sarcastically replied, "I don't have a name." He then offered to call the company himself but ultimately refused to do so. This was not a simple misunderstanding about closing time. The employee was rude, confrontational, dismissive, and openly contemptuous. A business cannot thrive when customer service is nonexistent--or, worse, when customers are treated with such disrespect. I will not patronize a business that permits its employees to treat customers this way. read more

There were several coffee places in this area but thought an afternoon crepe would be perfect. We shared their S'Mores which had dark chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows. There was a nice balance of dark chocolate and marshmallows but not enough graham crackers. I enjoyed my skim milk latte and my husband enjoyed his cappuccino. Service was a little slow but the staff was very nice and they were working hard. We would come back to try their other crepes. Very chill vibe. Two bathrooms and outdoor seating. read more

Huge selection of sweet and savory crepes. We tried jam and another one with Nutella. Bar seating at the window and some tables. Crepes are made fresh to order. Lots of beverage options too. read more

Terrible crepes, they are dry and stale. Definitely would not recommend this location. Huge disappointment.

AH-MAZE-ING!!! Fresh to eat, hot, deliciousness. It's a cute quaint spot that is a great for a quick breakfast. Service was equally amazing as the food. This will be a must stop each time we visit Manhattan read more

The chai latte was okay as it tastes the same everywhere . Now the main thing crepe ,I ordered a chicken pesto crepe . I liked the fact it was buckwheat crepe .I'm just disappointed about the fillings , there was very little chicken inside for a place that boasts about their menu being high in protein , small amount of shredded chicken. read more

Okay quality place for both savory and sweet crepes on the Upper West Side. I got a Crepe Madame ($14), which had egg, ham, and gruyere inside. I also got a Nutella and baked apple crepe ($12). While both were decent, they were both quite thin and did not really impress me that much in any way. I also got a Very Berry Smoothie with apple juice ($8.50), which basically just tasted like apple juice despite having the berry color. Again, decent but was not really impressed. The space is moderately sized with a casual vibe. There was just one guy working there but the service speed wasn't bad. Overall, Vive La Crepe could be a decent option if you are in the area and looking for a quick and convenient snack or drink but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for sure. read more

The crepes were so incredibly amazing. Sam is seriously the best!! I would definitely recommend.

Crepes weren't crisp enough. So the entire thing felt a little soggy, more like a thin pancake feeling rather than a crispy crepe. And cheapest crepe on the menu was $8.5. Add a topping of any sort of topping like whip cream or strawberries and you are around $11 for a basic semi soggy crepe read more

Crepes were so good!! Hot chocolate was great too! Definitely coming back with my son who wanted me to post this review

Yuck. Crepes were thick and the filling was gross. The people making the crepes looked like they were miserable. The place was depressing.

Not good with the hot chocolate or chai tea. However,The crepe looks great！many choices on the menu

One of the few eateries on the block and open late, so it's got that going for it. It's small and quaint with some seating available. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if it's on your way or you're looking for a cute and casual meeting spot, it's solid. My friend and I ordered the turkey and the smoked salmon crêpes because we wanted something savory. They literally took twenty-five minutes to make these two crêpes. It was torture for me. Nobody knew what the holdup was. When they finally came, the server gave us an extra one, the chicken pesto, on the house, which was sweet. Luckily, the chicken pesto was my favorite one! I highly recommend that one if you're searching for one with more protein. The turkey was my second favorite. The smoked salmon was mediocre, but then again, I'm not the biggest fan of cream cheese. read more

I went today for a crepe and what I received was the worst service imaginable. An angry man spewed obscenities at me after I asked for a bag with handles. Ordered a sugar and butter crepe ($7.25), wanted Nutella on the side and apparently thus was an extra $2 for a small container...geez they know how to overcharge for mediocre crepes that's for sure. I got a gluten free buckwheat crepe with egg whites, salmon, capers and goat cheese instead of cream cheese. I love that they accommodated my request for substitutions without giving me hell or charging extra. The crepe was pretty good and very filling. I watched it made and didn't have to wait very long despite only one person making the crepes (they have like 5 stations). I just wish they had the nutritional information (the reason this is a 5 instead of 4 stars). read more

It seems like just about every neighborhood these days has a Vive La Crepe, eh? If you've been to one you've been to them all. They're totally decent crepes. Nowhere near the best I've ever had, but nothing you'd shove away from your face either. It's sort like Jack Johnson. Chances are you're not going to head out of your way to give him a listen, but when it's on the in background, it's totally unoffensive and mildly enjoyable. I'm more of a savory crepe guy, but their sweet stuff will do the trick as well. read more

Vive La Crepe - The view while you wait. - Desserts Near Me - New York, New York

I ordered a Dulce de leche and it was extremely disappointing and underwhelming. I probably got the least amount of food from one order serving, when compared to the handful of crepe stores that I've been to in the past. An order is around ten dollars, which is fair and the normal pricing for a crepe, but with the ten dollars I paid for in the other stores (which is also located in the NYC area), they would comes with alot more ingredient/topping such as ice cream, fruits, whip cream, nuts etc, which is the standard that I'm basing my experience off of. Obviously, every place is different when it comes to quantity and pricing. But when you ordered from this menu, you're getting just that. It was just crepe pan cake with caramel syrup and nothing else. And each additional topping would cost two dollars each. To put it bluntly, this place is a rip off. read more

So you're having a get together around lunch time in Central Park and you need something to eat. What do you do? Well, you could go to the snack bar in the park and get ripped off. You could get a sandwich at one of the delis that is literally on every block of the city, but what's exciting about that? Heck, you could even get one of those pre made salads at the drug store but then again, who knows how long it's been sitting there. But why not go out of your comfort zone and try a crepe? Sure, must people think that creeps are only stuffed with bananas and hazelnut spread and served for dessert, but there are so many more options to choose from here that just might broaden your culinary horizon. Be adventurous! I tried the savory crepe with turkey, Gruyere, spinach, and tomato sauce and it was delicious. Sure, it took a few minutes for them to make the crepe from scratch, but it was worth it. My friends that I was with (who opted for the aforementioned deli sandwich) came back with their plastic shopping bags, but immediately regretted their decision when they smelled the fresh crepes inside. Only reason I went with four stars instead of five was they they don't seem to have a way to wrap up the crepes and I ended up having to carry it in a paper sleeve in one hand and my drink in the other back to the park. Some aluminum foil would have been very helpful. read more

Vive La Crêpe! certainly has many menu selection of both sweet and savory, and I always thought of them as fresh and high quality. I especially love one of their cute seating decor they they have at each location; long wooden block with back of the chair sticking out of it. I think it is really creative and adorable. Stopped by for a coffee on my way to Central Park. I actually ended up getting the Nutella hot chocolate and added a shot of espresso. Really cute place on the upper west side! They have a couple outdoor seating tables and we were lucky enough to grab one because it was really busy. We got a drip coffee, a latte, and cold brew- all great. A little on the pricier side ($5 for cold brew, and $5 for lattes). I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the extremely long wait. Only one person was working there and it was so busy! She was super sweet, but just very overwhelmed. It was hard to order and hard to pay because of this. We had to Amelie crepe, and it was amazing (picture attached). The dough was soft and the filling was delicious. Would definitely come back again for another round of crepes. I saw others ordering the sweeter options that smelled so good. Maybe I will try another location where they have more people working to make it a quicker experience. But nonetheless, it was a great place to stop on the UWS. read more

To echo the sentiments of other Yelpers, Vive La Crepe is a quaint little spot in UWS that serves solid crepes perfect for a quick afternoon bite. Are the crepes filling enough to replace a meal? Probably not. Prices are a bit steep, but expected for this part of town. I appreciate how everything is freshly made right in front of you. My favorite so far is the smoked salmon option, but I would say all the savory crepes are pretty decent. Their dessert crepes don't come with ice cream, but they do offer scoops from Van Leeuwen for an additional price. read more
