Tried Moe Vegan's food truck experience and it was great. I'm not vegan, at least not on most days, but this place is definitely worth checking out. The burgers were the highlight -- juicy, flavorful, and easy to forget they were 100% plant-based. Everything here is vegan, which makes it fun to explore the menu. I also tried the mushroom tacos, which felt a little bland, but later realized it was because they're gluten-free lol. The bald guy with the beard was super friendly and welcoming.

The whole crew over at MV really has something special and unique going on. They started out typically as a popup (plus catering) serving the Seattle stadiums and south end (and surrounding area) which is where a big Southern comfort food demographic is often situated. For context, there aren't many vegan southern/comfort spots around the Puget Sound. The nearest ones are only perhaps Seattle's Plum Bistro (which is closing soon) and Tacoma's Quickie Too which is in another galaxy far away. Then they upgraded their mobile ride and now ADDED weekend cafe! Hours may extend/change as they get settled in but the versatility they provide with their options serving their community is ridiculous. The new digs is pretty rad. It's a cozy small/medium space with half seating and half hangout playing table games or some pool. Deep tones contrasted by some sweet decor and neon lights. Cool vibe here. The menu is a fraction of their catering menu for context which makes sense (don't want to start all crazy). Just a few classic burgers and fry options. Grubbin'; usually I get any burger (no fake cheese, not my thing) and a seasoned fries. And the staff serving ya are friendly and chill. If you play with the activity items, you better wipe yo hands first! Better not catch you touching your food and that stuff. Keep it clean people. :) Like their popup, always blasting some good tunes. Feedback: A little loose around the edges with decor quality control but not a big deal. Beyond patties have somewhat newer/healthier options out; good future option to transition to once current supply runs out. The window seating is weird; the table is too low and it squishes my legs. MV strives to fill an awesome niche in our community. Let's help them continue that mission. Thumbs up, check it out.

Burger fries and apple dessert. Plastic fork in the photo is for perspective. Portion size did not justify price tag.

The food was decent, but portion size was sad. For the exorbitant price tag, one of those variables should have been "spectacular." A burger, fries, and apple dessert pastry cost $34. Yes, you read that correctly- thirty-four dollars. The burger was a $15 item, which was kind of reasonable as compared to other vegan places, but $8 for the fries?! No. Apple fritter was good, but also did not justify the expense. I may order a burger from here in the future but nothing else. Service was good. Customers self-order at a kiosk, but a staff member was right there to answer questions. Dining room was on the small side, but maximized seating while maintaining personal space. Noise from a single tv was typically loud, but not deafening.

Tried this place last Sunday on a whim. Totally enjoyed the shrooms burger and I don't even like mushrooms much. The lasagna was pretty good too but the best part was the cheesecake. Some things to improve is that the quantity is a bit lesser than most places and currently they seem to serve only in Togo containers. The service was decent and ambience is super casual. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Pris: I am not a vegan... well I am during Lent (Daniel Fast), so we decided to check out their weekend brick and mortar for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at the outside and inside... it was a whole vibe. Really bright, welcoming, and clean. My husband and I were greeted when we arrived and ordering at the kiosk was straightforward. We got the garlic fries, mushroom burger and the Hawaiian burger. They were delicious. Caution, this is not the 5 for $5 menu, it set us back$50 (but you pay for what you get). Since I do not eat beef, I Will go again.

So freaking good, absolutely loved the vibes here. So wonderful to have more and more fully vegan places showing everyone how it's done and done honestly better without animals! I went in the middle of the week for lunch with my friend on a cloudy day, so it was not super busy. The food was so good, loved the burger I got. I don't remember which one since it was awhile ago, but I still think about how good it was (and the special magic sauce!). My only critique is I wish the portion for the fries was bigger for their price, otherwise they were CRAZY good. Definitely stopping by here again next time I'm in town. If I still lived in the area, I'd be here almost every week!

The food was super delicious, everything was vegan even the bread. Flavor is amazing and the meat is not beyond meat even though it's named after that, the meat is pea protein and super delicious. The owners are super nice! If you see the black guy behind the counter, he's not an employee he's the owner him and his wife!

    The good good.

From the green neon sign to the bold vibrant signs on the doors and windows you know you are walking into a place full of soul. The Souf Seattle burger and Truffle Parmesan Fries were off the chain! Go get yours! Or have it catered or delivered.

We had been to the other Fil Cuisine location twice and were disappointed both times, so expectations were cautious. This visit started off strong, though. We were greeted right away by a friendly waitress - she was funny, and very upfront. She warned us that regular portions are already massive and family size would be super-sized. She was absolutely right. When the food came out, we were shocked by how large the portions were. The waitress came back with a playful "I told you so," which made us laugh. Food-wise, it was hit or miss: - Ginisang munggo was delicious. We finished the entire bowl. Highly recommend. - Mixed pancit looked great but was a bit bland. Loved the fresh lemon (not packets) with it and asked for more. - Pork adobo fried rice tasted like garlic fried rice. No real adobo flavor detected and it also was light in seasoning. - Papaitan was Tagalog-style (no bile or liver) and would have been a winner for us but it too lacked the expected flavor punch. - Ube halaya was a bonus. It was made fresh and still warm with a soft fudgey texture. We spooned it. Highly recommend. - Hot tea turned out to be chamomile, which we didn't expect and didn't enjoy. We had plenty of leftovers to take back to the hotel. Several dishes needed condiments or seasoning help since flavors were muted. Easy fix so no worries. The restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable, and great for big families. The ladies from the kitchen who came out to check on us were also friendly and chatty. While this wasn't a slam dunk for flavor this first round, the service, portions, and welcoming atmosphere made it worth trying.

PAPAYA SALAD (SOM TOM), PHAD KEE MAO (DRUNKEN NOODLES) and I believe the TOM YUM FRIED RICE with tofu. I like how thin the papaya is for the salad. We looked around other spots to eat at and ultimately decided to wait it out despite our grumbling tummies (or maybe it was just me)! We walked around the area and ended up in Daiso next door killing time and I picked up some art supplies to my ever growing pile. Finally it was open and we walked in, got sat, the staff were very friendly and smiling the whole time. Of course I thought we would be ordering at least 4-5 dishes to share but we ended up with a papaya salad with prawns (they are huge!), Chicken Pad Kee Mao, and the Garlic Fried Rice. Usually when it's me and my husband we always have to order our OG 3 dishes when we try a new spot but obviously I wasn't with my husband so we made a mutual decision and BOY THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The portions are pretty dang big! I don't think I've ever ordered a papaya salad on my own but the prawns? Did I already mention how big they were? Sheesh. The Pad Kee Mao?? I've had a few at different restaurants and really thought I just didn't like it and it wasn't my thing but I shoved a forkful into my mouth and immediately texted my husband saying we need to come back here like ASAP. It was so delicious! Something about it made me think "oh yea this is definitely what I expect when I think of Pad Kee Mao". I saved the best for last. GARLIC Fried Rice? Why have I never tried such a dish? (Hubs and I usually order Pineapple Fried Rice)... but holy moly. My love for garlic can keep a vampire away for miles! Best. Garlic. Fried. Rice.
