This was my second time having a salad at this place. The first time, was good and the wrap was decent. The staff seem a bit overly cautions with triple checking your order. I thought this was a one off, but it turns out that even when you order online and go to pickup the order, the staff will triple check your order. The restaurant is clean and orderly, with music playing in the background. Today, I had the build your own salad. I can say that they have some of the freshest ingredients to build a salad and the options are numerous in your choices to build a salad. I decided to add tuna to my salad. I thought this would be a great touch to such a fresh salad. The Caesar dressing was good and went well with the salad. The most disturbing part of this salad was the tuna. As it turns out, the tuna is canned with a strong fishy smell and flavor. I had assumed that the tuna with be cubed or sliced. This is a great place for vegans and vegetarians as well. Now, the fishy taste of the tuna was so string that I immediately brushed my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth. Please keep in mind that these salads start at $12-15 dollars plus the add-ons you like. Since I love salads, I had many extras and the salad was $26. My only regret was that I could not give back the tuna. I will try this place again, but for god sake change the tuna or skip it all together. read more

First meal here as I'm here for a swim trip for the weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. The service was incredibly kind, and it was extremely easy to customize the ingredients that I wanted. I used to LOVE Chopped Leaf. I've been going here since they first opened. The sandwiches, bowls, and cookies used to be so tasty. Their food has gone downhill. In our Santa Fe bowls my husband got ONE avocado Slice. I got two small slices. They used to give half of an avocado and a ton of pita chips. The Santa Fe Bowl also comes with Pita chips and my bowl literally had two tiny pita chips. They raise their prices then give even LESS food that the bowls are supposed to come with. Huge disappointment. The service was okay. I understand that they were busy. I'm just so disappointed that their bowls got smaller, prices are way higher, AND they give less of things that their bowls are supposed to come with. read more

The girls were nice and the place looked clean. Food did take bit to come out but let me just say something here: My tuna sandwich had a bunch of hair baked into it. I think it was cat or dog hair. I went to take a bite and the hair glistened in the sun. I thought, at first, it was probably an eye lash, and I tried removing it. Definitely toasted on there. Upon further inspection, there was a bunch of hair all over it!! I took a video and showed the girls working there. They said they couldn't issue me a refund because the manager wasn't there so they took down my info. I really hope they toss that bag of bread out. Feeling nauseous the more I think about it. The reviews are most definitely inflated due to the restaurant offering a cookie when customers show them their 5 star review. I've heard of restaurants offering some type of discount or bonus for the customer leaving a review, but requiring it be 5 stars ensures that people are not able to be fully honest/authentic in their assessment of the establishment. Two salads: both mediocre. The Greek salad wasn't topped with Kalamata olives, you needed to pay extra to add them. The greens did not seem organic as they were flavorless, and the feta wasn't of high quality. I did enjoy the tzatziki, but wish they had given the choice of either two of them to fully dress the salad rather than one tzatziki and one other dressing. The salad is pictured as being served with a slice of pita bread--I had tortilla chips scattered on my salad which wasn't appealing. I called their phone number twice during the middle of the day and no one picked up, so I placed my order online. It was ready on time. Decent prices for a salad in Washington (e.g. $10-ish). Not much to say about the service, standard nice front register staff. The only complaint I have is the salad had WAY too much dressing, and hardly any of the other toppings (cucumber, green apple, cheese, avocado). Was SO excited to eat here and try it but wow, what a disappointment. My teriyaki wrap was big and pretty good but there wasn't any chicken in it like I ordered. The cranberry pesto sandwich looks pathetic and the bold buffalo chicken sandwich looks like it was missing a piece of the bread. They never gave us our ranch or teriyaki sauce. Seemed to be more focused on the DoorDash orders. The order took over 20 minutes and the person working gave us a few free cookies for the wait. Big deal. Save your money and go somewhere else. After a lot of heavy meals, Chopped Leaf has become my go to salad stop. Everything on the menu is amazing. The staff is super friendly and will help you through the menu. Disclaimer: I have not tried the foods for myself, however, i'm an executive assistant that orders lunch on a weekly basis for different people at different meetings. I'm rarely in the meetings that I'm ordering lunch for, I just have to hope and pray that I nail it from behind-the-scenes. I was asked to order "something light" for 6 people, so I chose The Chopped Leaf via DoorDash because it had good reviews and was pretty close to the meeting location (free delivery for the win!). I ordered six different salads, and due to different dietary restrictions, had to add a bunch of modifications to each one. Oh my goodness the feedback I got was through the roof! Not only was the order accurate with all modifications, everyone was so happy and they said the salads were awesome and delicious! So although I haven't tried the food myself (yet), please know that The Chopped Leaf made six hungry executives very happy! read more

I guess it's hit and miss with this restaurant. The first time we ordered from them everything was so good, left a 5 star review & compared their sandwiches to Potbelly in Seattle. A week later we ordered from them again 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, a Bold Buffalo Sandwich & Chickie Quesadilla. All the dressings were missing for every sandwich & the quesadilla. There was no lettuce on any of the sandwiches that said they came with lettuce. There were barely any mushrooms or onion on my sandwich but a ton on my husbands sandwich. There was corn and other things stuck to the top of the Buffalo chicken sandwich ( corn does not come on this sandwich). Why would they not check the order before it leaves the store? Looks like other reviewers said the same thing. So the Spicy chicken ranch sandwich minus the spicy chipotle ranch & lettuce leaves what tasted like a grilled cheese with chicken sandwich. The quesadilla was not good. Very dry, plain, and crunchy edges. This restaurant has so much potential if they'd just check their orders and slow down to make sure everything's there. read more

I used to live in Tacoma and would drive all the way to federal way just for these salads! The portions are ginormous, the flavor is amazing and I always feel great after eating here. I came in on Christmas Eve about 40min before closing and it was a while before the staff member acknowledged us. After placing the order she warned us that everything would be cold because she already turned all of the ovens off... sure enough it was and the tofu and broccoli that should've been roasted was ice cold. With salads, bowls, wraps & sandwiches, and soups, as well as ingredients inclusive of nearly every dietary restriction (gluten friendly, vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and nut-free), kids & parents will love the array of options! While I eat keto-friendly choices, my server appeared to have a readily-available list of suggestions of what may be wise choices for me, but the online & posted menus do not appear to specifically allow for that filter/food preference. I chose 3 starter-sized salads, because I wanted to try as much as possible. All of the ingredients were VERY fresh. Crisp greens & apples that didn't have an aftertaste of chemical or lemon water, ample amounts of toppings, and just enough dressing to coat - not drench - the salad. I think my favorite thing about the menu is that everything is made to order, so if you don't want onion or tomato, noodles or dried cranberries, substitutions are totally allowed. Our party of 7 had plenty to choose from between the bowls, wraps, soups, salads, and kid's meals and we sampled all of them. I chose to make my own salad which was a modified version of their southwest with romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, black bean corn salsa, grilled chicken, avocado, feta, and crushed pita chips with chipotle lime citrus dressing. It tasted fresh and was filling. Everyone raves about their picks and enjoyed their meals. Dubs Jr. got the grilled cheese and it was nice to see the many kid options available. Next time we will try the kids wrap or bowl. Not only was the food great, but the service was excellent. We were helped by Ismail was friendly and patient when we asked at least a dozen questions pertaining to the menu. Now, let me start off by saying that I haven't actually been to this restaurant in person. So I cannot give credit to the exterior/interior aesthetic of the place. However, my job is located in Fife and I have been ordering for a few months and I get the same thing. I get the Pegasus with Lemon Dill Tuna. Absolutely delicious and filling. The first few times I've ordered it have been phenomenal, they really outdid themselves. However, last few times I have ordered it, seemed like they might've used the last of the lettuce or something - there was just something slightly off.
