Clean restaurant with plenty of seating but seemed as though to-go orders were more popular. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and helped as soon as we had decided on our order. The hubs ordered the gyro plate with tender gyro, basmati rice, a small salad and the best tzatziki sauce I've ever had...even better than my own, homemade! I've been here several times since this restaurant opened. I usually get lunch and have a gyro with Greek fries. It's always so tasty! The vegetables are always fresh and crisp. The main thing I wanted to add is the food is consistent, every meal has been consistently delicious, fresh and portioned the same. They've really gone above and beyond. Most times I go it's two guys there. They are friendly and helpful but not super chatty which I appreciate. There are some tables setup inside but I've only ordered takeout. The food here was fresh and filling but the flavors were lacking. I got a chicken gyro while mom got the chicken gyro salad. My gyro was yummy but the seasoning/flavor of the meat was a bit too bland. I pulled a few pieces out just to try them but I couldn't notice anything special. The gyro as a whole was good, it just tasted more like a normal chicken sub. I had half of the salad and I really enjoyed it. While the chicken suffered the same lack of bold flavor, the salad was super fresh and delicious. Great dressing as well. We tried the chocolate Nutroll and I thought it was a great little treat. It was fairly dense and very similar to baklava but I have no complaints! It's a good thing we chose to eat in the car outside the restaurant because about halfway through our meal I realized the guy working never put our Nutroll in the to go bag. I ran inside and let him know and he quickly apologized and wrapped it up for us so that was good. So I'm a little mixed. I did enjoy the food here but the chicken just didn't have any special flavor to it. We ordered to go, they messed up the order, not the end of the world, they fixed it. Now to the food, this was the worst chicken shawarma I have eaten in Washington state, the chicken was dry the sauce was ass, I mean shawarma needs to be flavorful, a tad spicy but it should be tasted though the whole dish, it was basically dry chicken, over yellow basmati rice, and and tiny bit of not flavorful sauce, the salad was also bland, the only saving grace was the hummus which was pretty good, that was a one and done for sure, the Mediterranean truck near my house which was closed tonight is a million times better. Based off of my first and only experience....I'm rocking with it lol. I like this place!!! The people and the food are both authentic. When I walked in a gentleman came from the back and greeted me, there was already someone working as well. I went over the menu and decided on the falafel sandwich combo with a side salad. He made my order and handed me my bag and I was thinking "wow, this is really light" there was no weight to the food. I guess as Americans we expect the heavier the food, the more we are getting. We excuse quantity for quality and as long as we are given big portions, we are happy. Well I will say this, I wasn't expecting what I received. The salad was amazing, I loved it! I was expecting a pretty basic salad and it was a nice, well put together side, Greek salad. But the gyro, man....the falafels were soooooooo good! On the first bite I could taste the mint! That says a lot because a lot of falafels that are made, you can't taste the mint. That means they put a good amount in it. The falafel was light and well seasoned. The tahini was good and the vegetables were fresh. The quality of the food outweighed everything. The only draw back was the smoke inside, I wouldn't be able to sit inside and eat. The food from Gyro Flame is crazy flavorful. Everytime I eat here, I find myself nodding my head, as though the food is having a conversation with me and I'm agreeing with every word. The Gyro Flame fries could be a restaurant concept on their own. Outrageously good. But what impresses me the most is how the veggies in their gyros are all seasoned. It might seem like such a small thing, but that extra bit of respect for the veggies makes such a difference in the overall product. You simply won't find a bland bite of food here. Pricing seems appropriate for the quality and quantity of food you get. A single gyro is large enough to satisfy one normal person. Add fries and most people would be stuffed. If this same food was served on nice plates in a more upscale location, I bet people would gladly pay $3-5 more per dish. Really really great stuff. read more

Looking for something a little different for lunch while in the Auburn area, with a little help from Yelp, Gyro Flame came up, which sounded great, since I've been meaning to try some Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food since moving to Washington. Located in a strip mall, hidden a little behind a McDonalds, but as it turned out, well worth seeking out. A good menu selection posted, I opted to try the Classic Gyro and a Greek salad, which when adding a water, becomes one of their combo specials. Service was friendly, informative, and fast. They were just getting busy at the 11:30 time, with call in and walk in orders. When my order wet was ready I was surprised at how full the gyro was!! I actually had to eat some of it with a fork before trying to hold it together in my hand, full of very fresh lettuce, cucumber, onion, and tomatoes, along with lamb and beef meat, generously drizzled with tzatziki sauce... so delicious! And fresh tasting, perfect for lunch on a warm day... the gyro would have been plenty for lunch by itself. The Greek salad was just as fresh, full of Romaine lettuce, cucumber, onions, kalamata olives, feta cheese with a zesty Greek dressing and tzatziki, very tasty and healthy. I love this place. The food is always great. Vegan options are clearly labeled. Always greeted upon arrival.

This place is some absolute heat, as the name implies. I can't say too much about it since I've only ordered one item so far, but that one item has me coming back for more despite this place being 20 minutes from my house: the gyro flame fries. They're essentially regular greek fries with a twist, the twist being the fact that they add garlic sauce and shawarma meat to it. It is somewhat pricey, being about $15 after tax, but the serving size practically makes it a whole meal by itself. They do not skimp out on the meat at all, unlike a lot of Greek places, and the meat itself is cooked extremely well, being seasoned to perfection and tender as it is. The garlic sauce is very pungent but delicious nonetheless, and a welcome addition to the fries for sure. For all that, this place is now one of my favorites. read more
