This was our second time visiting this Mediterranean food truck and all I can say is wow! VERY tasty and VERY fresh ingredients, combined with friendly and fast service, make this a great choice for a meal. My wife enjoyed the lamb and beef gyro, I ordered the (HUGE) 32 ounce lamb and beef gyro salad, and we split an order of Greek fries with feta and a creamy garlic sauce. We really should have taken *some* of it home for dinner, but it was so good that we just kept eating until it was gone. Seating is picnic tables with umbrellas, but there is a covered area in case of drizzle. For neophytes, I'd suggest you order either the 24 ounce salad or get the 32 ounce and split it with your lunch partner (ask for an extra plate/tray), as it really is a generous and meaty entree. The fries are great, but one order feeds at least two and likely three if enjoyed along with a sandwich. So glad this food truck is here in Auburn! I've been here multiple times now! I tend to always get the chicken sandwiche (gyro). But my household has tried the lamb & beef gyro and the lamb plate. All pretty good. The Greek fries are so delicious. I need to try the frie bowl. The customer service is so good. I once ordered and the guy made 2 lamb & beef gyros when I ordered one lamb/beef and one chicken. He stopped me before I left and told me he messed up, but to keep both lamb/beef gyros and he'd quickly make the chicken one. Such great customer service. Always so nice! Ordered via Yelp because I was driving through the area and am never in Kent so didn't know what was around, but the man there was kind of rude. I couldn't hear him over the road noise nor could I see the order names in his food truck because the paper and letters are small and I am short so I couldn't see it standing at the order window, so I asked him to confirm if my order went through and he got annoyed and put the paper 2 inches from my face to show me the names to which I had to step back because I couldn't read it that close, goodness. My neighbor suggested we try out this food truck, and I am usually not a food truck kind of lady but his recommendations are usually spot on, so we gave it a go and bought a smattering of everything for a get together with friends. The food was good. The dolma (spiced rice wrapped in grape leaves) was the perfect consistency. The tzatziki was flavored well. The garlic sauce could have had more garlic blocks or but I love garlic so for most it was probably spot on. The tahini drizzle was a good consistency too, very pourable which is how you want it for shawarma or the like. My husband's beef and lamb kabobs were cooked well and flavorful. He ordered an extra kabob and was not disappointed. It came with sitting on a bed of yellow rice that was well flavored and the two sides of the togo container had hummus and a Greek style salad that had a good amount of vegetables. It was the same salad mix they use in their main and a la cart side salads. The side salad I ordered was dressed well with a tangy vinaigrette and was fresh and crunchy. I also ordered an Arabic flalafel wrap which was a bit under seasoned but was great when dipped in sauce (so I am reasonably sure it's meant to be that way). We ordered a side of baba ghanoush (roasted eggplant, spices, oil and lemon juice) and the portion was very generous. There were kalamata olives hovering over the salads, the humus and the eggplant and I felt it was a nice touch. We also ordered Greek fries which were covered in a blanket of drizzled sauce and fine feta crumbles and they were miraculously still crispy and delicious even after traveling. All of it traveled well also, nothing leaked or spilled, which is such a win in our gig economy of haphazard delivery drivers. (We did pick it up ourselves mind you, but they are on delivery services). The guy running the register and assembling was nice, he said his name was Raffy, which immediately made me think of the children's song writer and now "Apples and Bananas" is happily playing in my head. He made it a point to be personable and jovial which I appreciated. He confirmed our order and then checked it when he bagged it for us, another thing I really appreciate. I've had interesting interactions with the trucks in this food truck village area. The food was good I definitely ate it all, the price point was not bad, but idk maybe I'm just sensitive and get easily perturbed when comments are made. I ordered food from here, and the pickup range was a time frame of like 15-35 min which is either a short or a lot of time and I'm always, always going to err on the side of getting there when my food is ready instead of awkwardly waiting. So obviously I'm going to get there at the end of the time range given. I get there after about 36 min and when I picked up the food, the person at the window made the comment "you're late". I immediately tried to say, oh the time frame said 15- and before I could finish my sentence, the guy said, exactly. Now I'm not a person with a lot of patience nor do I find dry humor funny so I wasn't at all sure if this was a joke or if he was upset, or maybe he was being passive aggressive. I really don't know. In my opinion keep customer interactions to the bare minimum to avoid awkward as at least for me. Again it probably wasn't that big of a deal, but because of this interaction I'm probably not going to return. There are other places that serve similar food and without the interaction that left me feeling a bit uneasy and the time frame that left me confused. Idk. Maybe it's just me. My husband got food from this food truck on Saturday night - it was not very busy, only about a 10 minute wait. He ordered a gyro combo and I got a gyro plate - both were delicious. Both options came with Lamb/beef gyro meat, which was a great texture and seasoned well, the veggies are a mixture small dice of onion, tomato, cucumber and lettuce in a light vinaigrette - I like this over larger chunks of veggies as I feel like I got a little of everything in every bite. The gyro sandwich had feta, which I was missing on my gyro plate, but both had tzatziki sauce, which was delicious, I only wish there was more. The rice on my plate was perfectly cooked, and the hummus was good. My husband's [combo came with fries, and even tough our drive home was about 15 minutes, the fries were still hot and crispy, but they only came with ketchup - I would have preferred tzatziki or garlic sauce. Next time, I will ask for an extra side of tzatziki sauce for my meal and my fries. So delicious! Chicken Shawarma Sandwich wraps were good, but my favorite so far is their Chicken Shawarma plate. It tastes as good as it looks! I love they use very little lettuce in their salads. They use cucumbers and tomatoes with deliciously seasoned Greek dressing; Crunchy and delicious, not soggy. Service was great; nice and friendly. We've been looking for a place that makes delicious Mediterranean food since we moved here a year ago. Who would have thought we would randomly find it at a food truck in Auburn?!
