Always looking for a place halfway between our Seattle friends and us, in Tacoma, and this will now be my go-to recommendation. All of us completely loved the food and service at Andalucilla! And, we all had trouble deciding what to get, with so many delicious-sounding dishes. Great food, healthy and fresh, and the person who served us surprised us with free brownie bites when there was no tiramisu defrosted. He made us feel comfortable to stay as long as we liked - and we stayed a long time. I wish I lived closer, I'd eat here all the time. Nice little view of the Sound. My only wish is that the cafe were bigger, with more than one booth, and more comfortable chairs at the table in the center of the room. I could have swapped out my chair for one with a tall back, so that's on me.

Italian sandwich on focaccia

First time trying after years of curiosity. Wish I hadn't waited so long. I got the Italian sandwich. They were out of French bread, so they recommended the focaccia with herbs. I got it warmed a bit. This was so good! Kind service, good sandwich. I can't wait to go back and try every sandwich on the menu. Perfect to pick up for a summer picnic on the beach.

Nice small dining venue with a view of the Salish Sea. Excellent food and friendly staff. We ordered a Turkey Sandwich, a Pear Walnut Salad, and a Carne Asada Salad (not on the menu, a special mod from the gyro). All were flavorful and presented beautifully.

Hidden along Pacific Highway. Not busy when we went. Got the Santa Fe Salad, Chicken Sandwich, Bruschetta w/ Pico De Gallo, Pina Colada smoothie & Eagle eye smoothie. Fresh ingredients all around. Great portions for both meals, fairly priced as well. Really nice view of waterfront in Des Moines, good for sunny day. If you're looking for something on the healthier side, come here. Definitely coming back!

BF and I decided to try something new and stumble onto this place. Yelp map will take you to the front of the building. The restaurant is actually located on the back of the building. The food here is good but the portions are small for what you pay for. The service is good. The coffee is good. The restaurant is kinda small, but the view is awesome. We both had the southwestern plate. Good food but for the money I was expecting more.

Great little spot with solid food, nice build out and great views! Would be dope if they got an alcohol license and sold beer and cider too!

View from the inside

Amazing, high quality food at a very reasonable price! Exceptional customer service and family-owned business. Everything is made to order with very fresh mediterranean and HEALTHY food! I wish more places had healthy and delicious food like this. And, the view over the water is the cherry on top. Just moved to the area and I am so excited to come here more often.

Have driven by these food trucks any number of times but never stopped. the owner of the catering…read morecompany that runs the food truck catered a party for us and told us he had one of the trucks so of course we stopped by. Its a fun spot, tables to sit at and a varied selection of trucks. This truck has a wide variety of sandwiches including some vegetarian options that sounded good and even though I'm not a vegetarian I think I'd like to give a couple of them a try. My husband opted for pulled pork sandwich. It was messy and he said really good. I decided on an inside out grilled cheese. It had grilled onions, swiss cheese inside and then slices of cheddar on the outside and grilled so the outer cheese was crispy and the inside cheese super gooey. It was absolutely delicious and game with an au jus for dipping. They also have drinks, we got strawberry lemonade and some sides but the sandwiches are plenty, you don't need anything else.

Overall 3 1/2 with a half star added for being local…read more Located on Auburn Way across the street from Walgreens along with several other food trucks. This fine sandwich spot is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I ordered the T-Town Cheesesteak which came very cheesy, well seasoned and had tender meat. Pros: Soft Bun Filling Veggies are cooked perfectly Cheese steak taste on point Cons: Not enough steak A bit messy but that's understandable since it's a Cheesesteak. My suggestion would be for sandwiches like this they should be wrapped in parchment paper to seal in all the flavors, keep it warm and avoid less of a mess. Overall a good sandwich I'll be coming back for their other sandwiches

How was this review over 6 years ago?! Def needs an updated review:…read more Stopped in here yesterday during my quick lunch break. Ordered the tofu sandwich and matcha with the soft foam. My order total ended up to be around $14. First off, the tofu sandwich!! I'm not sure how they used to make it 6 years ago, but now I'd say it is one of the best I've tried. The sandwich came out warm, they sauté the tofu in a sauce, which I'm guessing is oyster sauce and it gives it a lot more flavor. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. For the matcha, I was not expecting it to be anything special since it's a boba shop. After taking the first sip, I was shocked on how rich the matcha was and it was delicious!

Their banh mi always have a large helping of meat coupled with the freshest cucumbers, carrots, jalapeños and other garnishes. Xavia was one of their main employees back then, and has remained a steadfast employee for them. It is always reassuring to see her familiar face and catch up with her. Now, 6 years later I am still coming here to get crispy pork belly banh mi and have started getting the hazelnut milk tea with boba. I haven't drank bubble tea in a long time and wasn't sure what to order. Ngi recommended the hazelnut milk tea with boba and I was not disappointed! I recently became a painting contractor. I don't have an office yet. So Goatea owners Tan & Tran have been incredibly nice and have been letting me use their space to hold interviews and new hire one-on-ones. As a new business owner, I really appreciate them helping me out! I definitely recommend Goatea for their delicious food, tasty bubble teas, and welcoming staff! Where do I even start with this place?…read more My son and I were really hungry and craving something different, so I turned to Yelp to find a great sandwich spot. I almost went to a place in Kent but wasn't completely sold, so I searched again--and that's when I found Aunt Becky's. What a gem! We originally planned to get our lunches to go, but once we arrived, we decided to stay and eat inside. The women behind the counter were absolutely lovely--so patient and helpful as they answered all our questions. The menu is clearly displayed behind the counter, and there's a fun assortment of snacks and drinks up front. I ordered a toasted BLT, which was delicious (though I can't remember exactly what my son got). While my sandwich in and of itself might not look absolutely delicious - remember that looks can be deceiving and this sandwich was life-changing on the day we went! The vibe inside is laid-back and cozy. The decor is a little older, but it just adds to the homey feel. It's clearly a spot loved by families, local businesses, and workers from nearby construction sites--people were coming in and out the whole time for takeout. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend you check it out too. You won't be disappointed! See ya there!

Finally checked out West Hill Deli! Absolutely loved their food and ambiance…read more For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend!

Everything we ordered here was so satisfying, but the pork sisig with rice was the standout for me…read moresuper flavorful, perfectly savory, and just hits all the right notes. I also tried the garlic fried rice with longanisa and eggs, which was really good too. The longanisa had that nice sweet-savory balance, and the garlic rice was fragrant and comforting, though I'd still pick the sisig if I had to choose between the two. The ube pancakes were delicious soft, slightly sweet, and definitely a fun treat. Fair warning though, they will leave your teeth a little purple for a bit but honestly worth it. I also got the ube coffee and... YUM. Such a good combo with the pancakes. Overall, everything was solid and full of flavor. I'd definitely come back, especially for that pork sisig. Tita is definitely cooking in the back you can taste it.
