Moe's Ice House is conveniently located right at the Fogarty Ice Arena. You can even watch the curling games while you enjoy your drink through the huge glass windows overlooking the court. This bar is the perfect spot for curlers as you can order beer and bring it right down to the ice which is every curler's dream. Also, it's a great spot to hang after a hockey or a curling match to catch up with teammates or even the opponents (if you won). The food is decent, definitely nothing special and nothing I would go to if I were not playing in the arena. They have standard bar food including flatbreads, wings, burgers, and of course lots of beers. I ended up ordering just the Juicy Lucy with fries as I needed to drive home. The burger was decent, but nothing more than that. Considering it's a restaurant in an ice rink, I really wasn't disappointed as it was what I was expecting. I couldn't really tell that it was a Juicy Lucy as their seemed to be no cheese in the middle, but wasn't bad at all. Overall super average food, but the great atmosphere and convenience with the curling rink bump up it to 4 stars for me.

2026 Dive Bar 3 of 40…read more Just off Main Street, you will find this corner bar not far from the river. Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.

The food was incredible, the space was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. One of the best features is that you can open the doors to a private outdoor patio area, which gave our guests even more room to gather and enjoy the day. Planning a party can be stressful, but the team at Tipsy Steer made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We received so many compliments from our guests on the food and venue. You sit at a table and order off your phone, and servers will bring your food and drinks out to you. Had no problem with that, it was a fairly easy process. Our servers were kind and I believe we talked to the owner for a bit who was attentive to all the tables! The food is the disappointing piece. I had the chicken rojo avocado tacos and they really lacked flavor. There was plenty of chicken in such a small tortilla, which made the taco fall apart as you ate. My sister ordered the pesto Mac and cheese with chicken and it was okay, but the chicken was not good. I didn't try the tenderloin bowl, but it seemed to have better reviews than my meal or my sisters from my family. I don't make my way out to Blaine often enough to try again, but I think this would be a better spot for pizzas and milkshakes.

Fun drink selection, seasonal was a nice touch. The batting simulator was just ok, doesn't pick up on grounders and just overall not very exciting, wouldn't return to do that but it was fun to try once. Kids enjoyed the arcade but it was very expensive and the claw machines are the type that shake the item and aren't strong enough to carry them to the drop which just disappoints. Parking is easy. Good for family night out, corporate event or evening out with friends/casual date.
