The restaurant is so cool! They have an area where they sell memorabilia, batting cages, their bar and restaurant. They also have an outside patio area with a fire place. The staff were very friendly. We came a little later into the night and their kitchen was still open. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with truffle fries and it was absolutely delicious!

Fun place for a birthday celebration. We had a huge party of 24 and reserved 2 batting cage bats side-by-side. Service was a bit slow since we had such a large party, but I had no complaints there. We had some of their complimentary popcorn while we waited for our food. However, I was disappointed that we only got to play 60 minutes even though our reservation was as for 90 minutes because they weren't ready when we arrived. Food was just ok ( food was 3/5 stars, drinks were 4/5) and prices were on par with other family restaurants. My hubby enjoyed the "Pour Decisions" self-pour beer option. I liked the full bar with several Mocktail options. Batting cages were decent. Pitches came out once every 8 seconds. Softball and baseball options and you can adjust speed pitch easily. You can just tap home plate to pause and resume. Ambiance was nice and on-theme with the sports bar vibes.

    Perfect for teams and families

This place is awesome! I'll definitely be a repeat customer! Lively atmosphere, sports on tons of TVs, pour your own beer wall, full bar, baseball simulator bays and delicious menu!

Great place to eat and watch sports. Here for the Grand Opening and the owners and employees are all super friendly and welcoming!

You sit at a table and order off your phone, and servers will bring your food and drinks out to you. Had no problem with that, it was a fairly easy process. Our servers were kind and I believe we talked to the owner for a bit who was attentive to all the tables! The food is the disappointing piece. I had the chicken rojo avocado tacos and they really lacked flavor. There was plenty of chicken in such a small tortilla, which made the taco fall apart as you ate. My sister ordered the pesto Mac and cheese with chicken and it was okay, but the chicken was not good. I didn't try the tenderloin bowl, but it seemed to have better reviews than my meal or my sisters from my family. I don't make my way out to Blaine often enough to try again, but I think this would be a better spot for pizzas and milkshakes.

As the place got busier, we saw our waiter running around helping other tables. We had to flag him down to get to-go boxes and the bill. We tend not to linger for hours and prefer to be in and out in under an hour. By the time we left, there was a waiting crowd at the door. Food was good, but please come with patience as they are likely understaffed.

My husband's cheeseburger was pretty pathetic looking and there was no LTO or anything offered. He didn't even finish it and he eats EVERYTHING. The place is always busy - I suspect because of proximity to the sports center. This visit we actually made a reservation so we could get in! Our server was pleasant and helped us with highlights of the menu (this was our first visit). We started with the Pretzel bread app which arrived looking good and hot. Flavor was average...nothing outstanding or better than other BBQ available in the Twin Cities. My buddy went with the the Chicken Fried Chicken...a large portion covered with plenty of gravy (see photo). Our entrees arrived promptly and at a good temp. Overall, thanks primarily to good service, the visit to Clive's was fine. While we'd try differerent items from the large menu, we would likely stop in when in the area.

The restaurant was understaffed - the bartender was not only running the bar but also serving the entire dining area. We sat at the bar and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted. We also overheard a nearby table voice frustration about the slow service. We're pretty patient, so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was noticeably slow. That said, once we were helped, our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Spicy Margarita and my husband went with an Old Fashioned. My margarita was on the weaker side; not bad, just forgettable. My husband enjoyed his Old Fashioned. For food, we tried the Bang Bang Shrimp, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Crab-Stuffed Portabella. The standout was definitely the Bang Bang Shrimp; we both really liked it. The lettuce wraps and stuffed mushroom were fine, just not dishes we'd return specifically for. The overall vibe was calm and low-key, and the staff was kind despite being stretched thin. I'm glad we gave it a try, but it's probably not a place we'll be rushing back to.
