We love taking our kids here on cold weekends for a fun arcade atmosphere! My youngest has won pretty decent prizes both times we've been. It's a typical indoor arcade atmosphere, noisy, dark, over stimulating, but super fun! We hope to visit sometime without kids to try other activities like ax throwing and pickle ball!

I've checked out this place before, mainly because it's located in an area near my BFF, and also bc they're located in the same strip mall as D Spot so I'm guessing they have stepped up their game with food. First time I just hung out at the bar and tried a quesadilla and pretzel with cheese, both were fine. The place could be busier and although it appears they're working on some changes, there's a lot of staff sitting around unsupervised or so it seems. Anyway, nice atmosphere. It's a decent spot and I want them to do well. I returned for bingo this week. First off, they need to add details of their bingo game to their website bc it is a lot more expensive than any other place in the area, and you have a choice of electronic ($38) or paper ($28). 13 games with $100 payout on all but the coverall is $1200. It would have been more fun with more people, and please, if you are charging people $40 to play bingo, provide us with a server! I am not even kidding that was so dumb with all those people standing around and we have to go to the bar for a drink and a different location for food? Seriously fix that! I'm sure one of those employees sitting around would like to make some tips. Anywho, I'm sure they get the point, onto the food. You know I'm pleasantly surprised. That wedge salad rivals the one at Hazelwood! Not kidding, with the avocado and drizzle of balsamic, blue cheese and crispy bacon. For $10 it was pretty dank. I also tried the Buffalo wings just to compare to D Spot, their direct competitor. The wings were good quality. They had a nice smoky flavor and they looked good. The sauce had a lot of flavor but it's just too spicy. Mild up those wings for Oakdale and I'd choose them over D Spot really because the quality is much better. I'll come back and play some laser tag or pickle ball it's a cute place with a lot of opportunities!

Super fun place to bring out of town guests, families, or a date night. Ace throwing, arcade games, laser tag, Pickleball, yard games, sports simulators, there is a lot going on here! Nice menu with pizza, apps, and sandwiches and the quality is good, particularly for an entertainment venue. Food is counter service, which works well here as there are plenty of places to sit and table service isn't really needed. Huge beer list with some nice selections too, check out their tap list on Untappd or their website. You will surely have fun here. Mini golf is outside and seasonal. Seems to have steered more to attract adults than the previous spot Big Thrill Factory, especially with the removal of go karts and replacement with Pickleball courts.

I have been twice & mostly I just want to say get the Mac & Cheese. Who doesn't like fun time with food, drinks, and plenty of fun activities like axe throwing, mini gold, go-carts, and arcade games. . They have 4 adult slushies available. You can grab them individually or in this awesome flight & try them all. They change it up with different flavors, but during my visit my favorite was the Sangria. 1st visit - I have The Burrow Wings which are smoked and tossed in their house made sauces. You can pick from bbq, buffalo, burrow, honey bbq, or dry rub. I did Buffalo for my first try! You also get a side of celery & blue cheese or ranch. The Smoked Meats were pretty solid. I got Pork Belly and my friends Ralph got the sliced beef brisket. I had the Mac & cheese and I'm obsessed. It was so good! If that's all I got everyday if be happy. 2nd time I grabbed cheese curds, Hot Honey Pizza, and of course the Mac & cheese. I really am starting to enjoy axe throwing. It took my a few tries to get back in the swing, but Oakdale Burrow has axe throwing specialists that help you improve & teach you hit to properly throw! I really enjoy learning and getting better! It is a lot for fun. Also, who doesn't love mini golf! Mini golf is located outside & it was a ton of fun! Can't wait to go back again!

    Those tater-tots!!!

Some of the best food and entertainment in the Twin Cities! When you arrive, go to the ticket area to your left and order your axe throwing reservation right away. Have apps and drinks while you throw, then have dinner afterwards. Get the homemade tater tots! They are amazing! Then grab a seat and enjoy one of their homemade pizzas! Before dessert, have a round of Hammer-Schlagen or mini-bowling! Ask fir Deon at the bar and he will take care of you, I promise you! This is a great place for the whole family, date night or a night out with friends!! The atmosphere is vibes for days and it's brand new so it's all new! Enjoy!

Game not working. Over 20 like this.

Went on Sat. With grandkids. Over 20 games were down or broken. Very few items for redemption. They tried to give us points back, but computer down 15 min. After points put on, card would not work. We gave up and left Amendment: i wrote the manager and she made it right with a refund AND gift cards. Still would have been nice to know they were having internet issues before we bought game cards

Great happy hour deals. Cool environment. Lots of great beers on tap. Great service - Will the bartender was great. Best beer selection I've seen in Oakdale by far. No cover to hang at the bar which is great. Fun place to waste time with friends. P. S. They have boozy slushies! Happy hour M-F 3-6pm.

Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul! I look forward to returning and trying some games. It has a Can Can Wonderland feel but less complex. I'm very glad the building is getting used as it's a beautiful venue. Enjoy!

Sometimes they look sketchy. 3. Or they look creepy or they charge too much. HOWEVER. this place is not the case. I called to ask about making a reservation. As a person who worries and stresses about making things nice. This place made it so easy, and Jacob (the person who helped the 3 times I called and was there to show up the set up and greet us.) Was amazing. Super kind and patient when it came to asking about the location. And really relatable! I really like this place. Could be SO much better…read more Just moved here from out of state recently. My 4-year old son misses his friends, so I wanted to take him to a place where he could play with other kids. I searched online for an inflatables place and was surprised there weren't more of them in the Northeast suburbs. Pump It Up wasn't too far, so we went there. My GPS took us right to the building, but I had to drive around a bit to find Pump It Up. It's in an office building complex and it's at the far end of the building. We went inside and the reception area is nice. They have a vending machine for snacks and before you go in, the parents and kids have to watch a safety video, which is short and helpful so everyone understands the rules. Then we are led to the rooms with the inflatables. The place seems clean, but it's too dark to really tell. I didn't think they were overstaffed today. There was one person at the front desk and two staff in the play area. They seemed attententive. One of them helped a boy find his family (because it was probably too dark in there for him to see). As Eva B. stated in her review, there are two rooms with inflatables and three inflatables in each room. Not a lot of variety. There weren't a lot of kids there, so over-crowding wasn't an issue. Each room is pretty dimly lit (think of a movie theater before the previews start). There are two very uncomfortable benches for parents to sit in each room. One room was pretty warm and the other was cool - they were connected by open doors so the kids could go from room to room. One of the rooms has an air hockey table that appeared to be free, although it was so crowded all the time, we didn't go over there to check it out. The inflatables places I'm used to going have tables for the parents and wi-fi access. They also have snack bars. You won't find those things here, I'm afraid. Some parents were even sitting on the floor because the benches are so uncomfortable. This place only has 4 open play sessions each week for only an hour and a half each. At $6, it seems pretty expensive. Still, we'll probably go back simply because of the lack of options. The staff is friendly and my son had a good time.

The parking was very easy, pulled right up to the door, walked right it (moms with young kids know how nice this is, especially in snow & ice). The staff greeting us warmly, and showed up around, took my son's jacket and gear, and then the birthday present. We sat in a nice waiting area, watched a safety video, and then the kids got started jumping. I felt at ease for an hour chatting with other parents as we watched the kids, it was safe and so much fun for them. It wasn't crowded either. Then we all went into the party room, ate pizza and cake. The staff has the routine down like a well-oiled machine. They gave the kids friendly instructions and got them to participate during each transition, they even wrote down each gift and the gifter for the parents, so the parents could take pictures and watch the birthday girl enjoy. We ended exactly at 3:00 as it said on the invitation said. The airlines could take a few lessons from their staff: friendly, fun and on time. I had so much fun and so did my son that we've decided that it is worth the splurge to have his next party here.
