The music was a whole vibe -- smooth R&B and Hip-Hop set the perfect mood. The service was just okay, nothing special. There was a bit of a wait, but the food arrived hot and well-seasoned. There are only two single bathrooms, so be prepared for a bit of a wait there as well. And the drinks? Strong, delicious, and definitely did their job. I'd come back just for those alone! read more

A few of my friends bragged about the food and I had to try it. Went a little earlier in the day cause I guess it's more lounge l vibes later in the night and I just wanted to sit and eat. They have a parking lot, so easy parking. I didnt make a reservation but walked in and was seated immediately. Dim lights and everything had a hint of purple to it. Definitely like the change from what it was before when crazy Cajun was there. Just a chill kick back spot for food and drinks and good music. I ordered catfish strips and some wings. Didnt realize it was happy hour for wings though, or else I would have got more. It did take a bit for the food to come out but it was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection when it did. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only issue was I didnt understand the tab at first. In a digital world where we dont get to see the actual tab, I had to ask why it was the price it was. She told me tax, but when I got the actual receipt, it was actually because they added gratuity. I just think being transparent about that goes a long way, and I actually tipped 7% on top of the %15 already on there. Other than that, a really good experience and I would definitely go back for more food. read more

So I am not going to lie...I was pissed when I saw the menu because I was looking for those jerk wings. I didn't realize the menu was different on Sunday's. With that being said I ordered the chicken wing platter. It came with 6 full wings and two sides. My sides were macaroni and cheese and red beans/rice. AYYEE..MY PLATE WAS LIT. I had no complaints and I definitely be in the kitchen. Hats off to PLUSH the service was on point. Staff were more than attentive and the music and vibe was smooth. People clearly were comfortable because it turned into people singing out from booth to booth read more

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the DJ chose excellent tracks. We couldn't taste the food since we had already eaten, but the drinks were tasty. Our server was very attentive. The venue was quite cozy, but it would be an ideal location for adult birthday celebrations. The only thing it lacked was a dance floor. read more

I rarely am in this area when in Brooklyn Park. My family used to grocery shop and eat nearby when we lived in Minneapolis. My friends told me about this restaurant and sent me the menu. I had to come try them out. Pretty decorations of gold and purple. I can see this restaurant very busy at nights after the DJ start playing music at 10pm. My server was awesome, she was very attentive and checked on us often. Food was delicious, flavorful and big portions. We needed boxes to take the food home. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

Ambience is nice, very cute on the inside. Took a minute for me to realize it replaced the Cajun place. I would not bring my kids here due to it being more of a lounge vibe. Service was really slow when we went, with only one person waitressing and bartendering. Ended up being here almost 3 hours when we planned to be here an hour to try their happy hour. They have been open for a few months only. With that said, we did receive free wings for the wait. Our waitress was nice and the person who brought our food out was even better! Now on to important stuff- drinks were good. Highly recommend the superstar Kb, it has Hennessy in it. I accidentally spilled it and she brought me another free of charge. Highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak empanadas. Pass on the Buffalo chicken empanadas, it was dry and could not taste the Buffalo. Salmon bites were ok. My sister in law also got a pasta dish that they forgot to make so we waited a long time mainly for that. Supposedly because it was made fresh but I'd pass on it next time. Will definitely be going back to try out the soulful Sunday brunch menu. Hopefully faster service when we do decide to go back. read more

Plush Lounge is conveniently located off 252 and 85th. It was located next to a lot of restaurants and gas stations. A friend and I went on a Thursday night when it wasn't too busy. Ambiance 5/5 Very beautiful decor with Purple lighting, beautiful chandeliers with a clean bathroom. It's an intimate space with nice table and booth high top seating. Cute centerpiece and dimly lit spot with big screens and DJ was playin all the hit from Tevin Campbell to Keyshia Cole. Service 3/5 The server was friendly, prompt and helpful with the drinks. The major draw back, they're were a small group of people in the place but our food took over 30 minutes to arrive the chef did bring us some patties as an apology but I think they forgot about us. We appreciate him tryin to make up for it. Food 5/5 The food was and worth the wait!!! It was a long wait Chile. Salmon was succulent andy friend said her chicken was perfection!!! Drinks were cute and just enough liquor..not too strong. They did have a lot of salmon options so maybe diversify door selections but I've never heard a bad review about the spot. It was fire and I'd be back. Overall 4/5 Food was , drinks and music was on point however the service for the food was very slow. I'd return on a weekday. I couldn't take the weekend with all them folk in such an intimate space..it's a beautiful space tho! read more

Very nice looking place! The food was just okay. Something to eat. Ordered the wings, which should have been safe, yet I was underwhelmed. We also ordered the fried salmon bites, the sauce that came with this was DELISH! The service, well I kinda felt pressured as we were the only other party of two, so the ladies kept coming to our table asking what we wanted. At first I thought they were being attentive, but then it just felt like hurry up and order drinks and food! I won't base my decision on this experience, so I may return and try something els read more

Amazing! A time was had! Great food music and vibes. Go to plush for a bomb experience

Plush is located in a strip mall so parking is hit or miss. Luckily, I found parking right out front but otherwise you may have to park a ways down. We arrived on a Friday at 6PM and found a spot for 4 people. We ordered a few drinks, which were super cute and fun but were not at all worth the wait or the price. Onto the meal, we ordered chicken wings with fries which were not great. I think if they would've come out fresh our experience might've been different. They were soggy but had great flavor. The fries weren't anything special. The catfish was fried to perfection! Seasoned so well! I'd say this was the best thing we ate all evening. The dirty rice lacked flavor and was undercooked. The macaroni and cheese was oily and not fresh. Other items that were pretty good: mashed potatoes and broccoli (not pictured). We ran into an issue when we had another friend trying to join and after 8PM they have a dress code. Which isn't an issues; but the issue the dress code is not listed anywhere so it's difficult to follow it with no information. Unfortunately; we had to pay and leave since she wasn't able to join. Our server was a bit frazzled but I think she was doing her best. There was a discrepancy in the menu pricing, which noted you'd get 4 catfish fillets for $25 but they only brought us 3 catfish strips. After talking with our server she let us know they made a slight change and the manager agreed to accommodate the mistake. This is a new up and coming establish so I know there will be kinks to work out! But they have a LOT of work to do. I'll give them a little time to settle and will give them another try. The space is pretty, but very small and tight. read more

I went here for brunch and I had 2 adult beverages. The mimosa was more sweet than anything. It tasted like juice with club soda. I had a margarita as well and it tasted watered down. Nice setting, the people I was with said the food was good. It's a little pricey. $65 for chicken and waffles and 2 adult beverages. Plus the water was not the best. read more

They said it was a family friendly atmosphere, but it's more like a club/bar. Very over priced for food that does not appear to be freshly made with fresh ingredients. We wanted to try the $25 salmon croquettes that included two thick looking patties, eggs, a small portion of discolored looking grits, (mines looked greenish), and a biscuit that looked like it was from out the can from the grocery store. The silverware was dirty, with someone else's food still stuck on it. Gross! I showed her, she gave me new silverware and stood there as I unwrapped it, just to see it was dirty with dried food on there. I handed it back and she had an attitude, then said she wasn't the one who took our order. lol needless to say we WILL NOT be returning. I offered to just pay for my $15 strawberry Hennessy that tasted like some watered down strawberry juice. They had no shame and no care over the presentation of the plates the brought us for $25 each! read more

The atmosphere was great, very good vibe! The food 8/10 I ordered the southern fried chicken meal, with baked Mac and cheese with candied yams and cornbread. First, we were a party of 9. We each received our food 2 dishes at a time, with 10-15 min gaps between each dish. My dish I didn't get the cornbread instead I got hard garlic bread. Second, my friend ordered the same thing and never received her food the entire 2hours we were there. I spoke with the Manager and she was wonderful. Please be advised that this is a new establishment so the employees are still "learning the ropes". The food definitely is WORTH COMING BACK! The drinks were small but mighty!! Now the SERVICE was horrible!! Our server wasn't attentive, we constantly had to call her to bring us simple things such as napkins and silverware! When our appetizer came out we didn't receive napkins or plates. After speaking with the manager the server came over to "confront" us about speaking with the manager and justified her actions saying she had something important to do that the manager told her to do. it took so long to get Togo boxes and our checks. When cashing me out she brought exact changed and had an attitude when I asked for change so that I could tip her, she refused it and said, "just keep it ". OVERALL A GREAT PLACE AND A VERY CHILL VIBE! 8/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

The place is very beautiful, the service is great . Good customer service from bar tenders and servers. I ordered a catfish and grits but it was horrible. My food was slated and the catfish was overly fry. I was ask for ID which I have no problem with. I think if you're asking folks to show their ID than kids shouldn't be allowed in side the business. Over all, it's a great place to chill with friends and love ones. read more

Plush Lounge is a great place for a laidback intimate vibe. Good music and real good food! The chef (kitchen staff) don't miss. Everything seasoned great, hot a fresh! I've been on a Friday night (high demand time- dress code) and also on a Sunday for brunch! The waffles don't need any syrup.. Light, fluffy and sweet. Don't even get me started on the chicken (OMG sooo good). My family loved the grits also. I love how all of the staff pitch in and helps one another. The décor is real elegant and beautiful, a lot of high top seating and some low tops. Fridays are busy and peak time, so go early, get a good parking spot and dress to impress. I love dressing down, so if you like sneakers and dressing down too, go for Happy hour during the week or right after work on Fridays and/or brunch! The drinks are really affordable (including top shelf)! and the bartenders aren't scared to pour up! I'll make sure I add Plush to my "spot" list and come back as often as I can.. Especially for the food! read more
