The place is as great to see the spaces of rooms and bar area. We ordered food from a very nice waitress who also brought us our coffee which is good tasting. Lunch choice of Mushroom and Swiss Chicken Sandwich was a disappointment compared to past experiences. Chicken only slightly warm & a bit rubbery; mushrooms had to be searched for to consider appealing. So few I did not taste! Paid extra for a side of onion rings only to be disappointed as not even warm. We waited more than usually amount of time to have our food so did not want to ask for a replacement. Potato & ham soup was satisfyingly hot. Ice cold glass served with our beer choice was great on a hot humid day. As always the environment is a solid old school bar with plenty of neon signs and wood paneling. TV's were on but only two in the bar area were broadcasting anything the rest were noting the time of the next Twins game ... boring. read more

I really wanted this to be good because I love downtown Osseo and was hoping to discover a new favorite. The outdoor screened in patio was nice and the inside looked lively. Unfortunately it took 20+ minutes before our order was taken and another 40 before our food came. The Duffy's wings were bland and nothing special even though they claim to be. I've had better wings elsewhere. The Duffy's Dago wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It would have been better if the marinara served with it was warm to match the temperature of the sandwich. The server was forgetful and not very friendly. Not sure yet if we'll give it a second chance or not. read more

I grew up in a small rural town. Duffy took me home in a heartbeat. If bar food, beer, and drinks are what you seek, then seek no further than Duffy's. We were lucky to get seated around 5:30 on a Saturday evening. A wait list started after we arrived and didn't let up the whole time we were there. The menu offers a lot of different burgers (it wasn't clear to me how customizable the options were), smallish number of other sandwiches, and a huge number of pizza choices. Beers come in pints with a lot of choices. Parking is in the street out front. The crowd was pretty loud, and there were people playing pull tabs galore. It looks like a great place to hang out in downtown Osseo! read more

Great local hangout with a good selection of taps and a full bar of course. Terrific happy hours M-F from 3 to 7 PM. You can get a 22 oz tap in a chilled stein for a great price. Considering we came toward the end of a Vikings vs. Green Bay game, we were surprised there were only about a dozen people inside. This is definitely a locals place and you could feel it. We didn't feel welcome from the moment we sat down ALL due in part to our server. We were there hoping to watch some football and have a nice meal but as soon as we only ordered waters, no alochol, it all went down hill and we were no longer valued customers and treated as such. Our request was meet with a shocked "but its a Vikings game". I'm sorry, are we only allowed to be here if we drink? It then took about 10 minutes to get said waters. We ordered boneless Buffalo wings. They were spicy but the portion was small and they were overcooked and dry. We then got the reuben with fries and a large taco pizza. The meat on the reuben was ok but the bread was soggy and the fries were saltyyyy. The taco pizza was a nice size but it was so bland. All you could taste were the onions and olives on top. Taco meat had no flavor. This was our first time and our last time coming here. read more

Duffy's in "Downtown" Osseo is one of my favorite bars to visit. While it doesn't look like much from outside, or inside for that matter, there is one thing that is for sure - the beer is always cold, the food is always delicious, and the Starr is always friendly. Duffy's is most known for their famous dry rub Duffy's wings. And to be honest, it would be sacrilegious. These dry rub wings are arguably the best in the cities and worth a visit alone. Other recommendations from the menu would be their pizza, or breakfast items. The Beyond Burger is really good and swapping out regular fries for sweet potato fries or onion rings won't leave you disappointed. Large beer and drink selection at reasonable prices. read more

Is exactly what it says it is. A small town bar plus it has a decent little patio! They have excellent food...pizza, sandwiches, and apps. I think they may even serve breakfast, but I've never been there that early in the day yet to try it. They have great prices and fun events. So gather your friends and drive up north to Central Avenue in Osseo. For lunch on the patio we had friendly and helpful service. When I went for my birthday years ago we had a fun night of laughter and bevvies. You just can't go wrong any time of day here! read more

Familiar faces, clean, best mozzarella sticks and dry rub wings, great service, great beers, great vibe, great location, but a lot busier than eight years ago (been coming here 12 years holy shit) - which is good for them! Harder to get into on a weekend night but still worth the wait. I'll always be a regular here. Pull tabs - I win a lot which is pure luck but it adds to the fun. read more

And lastly, you gotta love a literate bar -- the patio wall is covered with hysterical signage, many of which spoke to me. The Duffy Wings are just killer. Monday - Friday from 3-7pm they are $2 off. The wings are deep fried and seasoned with hot sauce and their own dry rub. Dive Bar 101 - Bargo (Bingo of course) on Tuesday nights, Good Burgers and lots of people watching, well the Osseo version of people watching. This is a nice little dive bar out on main street in Osseo. Now it is the Burbs so you have to drive to get here but it is a good little neighborhood bar and grill where you wouldn't really expect it. The food is surprisingly good for an out of the way place. The burgers are really good and great fries. They actually have really good onion rings and other fried things as well. Service is good and the prices are pretty decent. Duffy's is exactly what you would expect and that's a good thing. First time here, walked in and loved it immediately. Cheap drinks, food all day, friendly servers. What's not to love. I sadly didn't try the wings (next time for sure) but got to try the pizza (half price on Mondays) which was way above average bar pizza. I had the Duffy's burger which was nicely done. Other than an bottom bun that was slightly underdone this was a really good burger. The Dago is great. The Fries are crisp. the Steak Fries are nicely seasoned and crispier than most. The food was good. But my biggest pet peeve though is why would you turn off game one of the Stanley cup playoffs and put on PBS - "Mid-Sommer Murders".... that would be enough to pick a different bar in the future. read more

Came to town From LA felt very comfortable when I walked in they got a table for me and we had wonderful meal. I had one of the burgers and my mom had the soup, Chicken and wild rice which is the best ever! It was so good we had to get two bowls for home.
