Such a wonderful, pleasant experience! My friends and I enjoyed a nice, pleasant, delicious Saturday lunch here. Wonderful service, ambience, seating and excellent food! I really LOVED the delectable Bacon Salmon sandwich (from the weekend special menu) and my friends also enjoyed their burgers, sandwiches and salads! Drinks were refilled promptly by a very friendly and nice waitress. We can't wait to return to enjoy more from their menu again!

The sunfish platter and tacos were absolutely amazing! Breading was nice and thin and cooked really well! The rest of the items were just okay, nothing I'd go back for.

Decent but not overly friendly staff. I've been coming here since the opening. Some of the staff are awesome but definitely not all

Friendliness and customer service could do much better. I've had their food and that's always been really good. Some of the staff are fantastic and half of them aren't.

The food was fantastic It's an open air ranch style kind of bar with lots of wood very cool big parking lot

Very cool place had the ribs my buddy had the sausage sandwich got coleslaw and fries. The food was fantastic 9 out of 10 it's an open ranch style bar very cool cool place to get drunk at Giant parking lot.

First time trying Cowboy Jack's and I have to say I was pretty impressed. I've seen how packed this place can get on their patio in nice weather, so I've shied away, but on a cooler rainy day it was a great spot to grab a bite. Our small party didn't have any trouble finding a table when we got there, and had a great service experience the whole night. I got the patty melt and was craving tots, so I opted for those instead of fries (which have a corkscrew shape). It came out quickly, hot, and had so much flavor. The tots were crispy and delicious. Lots of space here with old west decor...hence the cowboy name. I could definitely see myself coming back.

Had a fish platter. Delish. Just wondered why I got French dressing as a condiment instead of tartar sauce.

Back in like 88 when my parents got divorced I remember it being the first meal eating it on the floor with no furniture in my mom's new house in Fridley. Favorites are the Hawaiian and the Tasty Highlite There was always Chanticlear Pizza right next to Maple lanes in Fridley, and then Tasty's. Tasty's was always my favorite even back then! I still eat here at least once or twice a month and it's definitely in my top five places in the Twin Cities! We also frequent the one up in Pequot Lakes in the summertime when we go up fishing at Leech Lake. We stop on the way and pick up a couple pizzas.

Apparently this place has been around forever and it shows in the best way. It is a classic dive bar, but really more of a true neighborhood hangout where you will find lots of locals and possibly people who grew up in the area. No frills, just good vibes. The pizza is surprisingly good here - thin crust and cut into those perfect small squares with crispy edges. The sausage and pepperoni pizzas are absolute standouts. We also tried the buffalo-style pizza. The sauce was a little on the greasy side, but still incredibly flavorful and worth ordering. Do not skip the wings! Honestly, everything we had was just really solid comfort food done right. The place stays busy even on weekdays, which tells you how much the neighborhood loves it. There are plenty of parking.

I love a place that actually adds enough sauce so you don't have to reach for ketchup. Fries were crispy, beer on tap was cold and fresh, and my partner's Breakfast Burger with a perfectly runny over-easy egg was spot on. The whole vibe is cozy, laid-back, and exactly what you want from a classic neighborhood dive. There's easy residential street parking nearby, which makes it even better. Definitely come during off-hours if you want to snag a seat, it's popular for a reason. Bonus: it was easily $20-$30 cheaper than any other sit-down meal we've had around here. Perfect dive bar, no notes. Seat yourself. Friendly service.

I looked up…read moreyour website and FB page, and discovered you offer an affordable fish and shrimp basket on Friday's. So sis and I took a drive to our hometown to give it a try. Found off-street parking in a neighborhood close by. We are early birds but we got the last available booth/ table at 5pm. It's a small place so it's maybe 4 booths, 5 tables, 1 hightop and the bar for seating. It is seat yourself. The "kitchen" is also to the side of the bar (like Matt's Bar in MPLS) so you can watch them cook if you had a good seat. There was a "band" (2 people) setting up for live music to begin at 6pm. We had left prior to them starting though. Even thought it was packed, we had plenty of attention from all the staff: waitress, bartender and COOK. Waittress to our order, bartender delivered our drinks, cook verified our order (small vs large onion rings). We splint an order of onion rings. They were battered, not breaded! We prefer battered. They were slightly sweet, crunchy and hot. No dipping sauce offered besides bottled ketchup. Sis got the $11 fish basket with $1.50 lemonade. A dollar fifty for lemonade!! I tried the tartar sauce and liked it. Had a hint of dill. I got the $11 shrimp basket. The shrimp were breaded. Hot and crunchy. No tartar sauce for dipping. They were good but didn't really taste the shrimp, just the breading. I'm not a coleslaw fan but sis said it was good/fine. She couldn't describe the flavor, just that it wasn't Marzetti's (less flavor, no zip). I also ordered a McKenzie's Black Cherry cider. That's hard to find in a bar. It was cold and tart and delicious. Mmm. And only $4.50. Overall, the place was clean, the service was great, the food was good, the prices were awesome. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu (aka Tony's Firecracker burger). Love supporting small businesses in our local neighborhoods.
