Now because of the bartender, Molly, I now frequent 3 to 4 times a week. She is so kind and checks on tables frequently. They have a great crowd of regulars playing pool at all hours which makes for great people watching. Beers, liquor, and food are all priced right. I highly recommend their house made chili. Some context ... Saturday night with a group of 4 total people. We walked in and talked to Susie who is just the sweetest (heard some thoughts about us kids being in charge of the future of the world). She got us a pool table right away and a set of balls, and we were off and running. The prices on 6/15/19 were as follows $6 per person - for an hour of play $10 per person - for the rest of the night (they close at 1am fyi) The food and beer are around the price of an average sports bar, and my friend vouches that the burgers are scrumptious (his words not mine). We started playing and the time just flew past. I can definitely see myself trying to develop my billiards skillz, and making this a monthly or weekly event. Great place. read more

The bar is limited, but that's not why you're there. As far as pool halls go, this place has diamond tables and were recently refelted. The hose sticks are even nice. As far as equipment goes, this place gets 5 stars without a doubt. And then there's the service. Also 5 stars. The lady, who seems to run the place for the most part, is kind and tentative to customers. I went last weekend and liked the place (and staff) enough to come back this week as well. I think I've found my new home away from home. Highly recommend. They have both leagues and tournaments but plenty of room for the casual shooter as well. All seem to be welcome. read more

I highly recommend getting the herbed sour cream to dip your fries. The drawback for me is the seating isn't terribly comfy. I shoot quite a bit of pool and this place is top-notch. They have 7' and 9' tables, plus a snooker table if that's your thing. All the tables are in good shape. They also have a brand new set of foosball tables. Be aware that most if not all the house cues are one weight--18 oz I believe. The burgers are terrific and as mentioned, Susie makes the place warm and welcoming. The $10 play as much as you want deal is hard to beat and on Sundays they offer free pool if you order lunch. They have also installed new TV's recently tuned to popular sports events. Along with Shooters in Burnsville, this is really the place to shoot pool in the Twin Cities. read more

Best burgers my husbands and I have ever had locally. We have been getting to-go burgs from here for a few years and it's always consistent, good quality food, and even the fries are awesome. This bar has a great idea going. Get a lot of people together to play pool. The management though, is horrific. The owner tried to over charge us for everything we did. Want food? Every table has a menu with prices - but if you order any of those items it costs $3+ more because "the menu changed". Unless you are with 1-2 people, the pool is cheaper at literally any other bar. They charge per player, so if you come in with 5 people, you get 1 set of pool balls and each get charged the same amount per hour. And I'll tell you, it's not cheap. Aside from those established rules that the owner tries to milk money off of you from, they have other schemes going. You like music? Your own music? Hell yeah- they have touch tunes. But once your songs come up get ready, because of the owner doesn't approve of it she will skip them without refund (didn't even know this was possible). In short, I have never in my life seen a bar with such great potential and such F- management. We'll never come back under this management that seeks to scam. read more

Jimmy is frequently on site and the staff is on top of everything. The tables are PERFECTLY maintained (Diamond pro cut competition 7 foot tables) and for nine foot the old school single piece slate 9 foot competition Brunswick tables. Great quality foot, wonderful pool tables, great staff, fair prices. FOR SURE check this place out. Oh yeah and if parking on street is full there is a parking ramp behind the building that you can park in (believe it's free but honestly not sure I've never parked in it and can almost always find a spot out front on the street). read more

Good, clean, and spacious pool hall with a rockin 80s soundtrack (At least when we were there. The heat is on!) $3.75 a person an hour. Perhaps a little unassuming and stabby looking on the outside. Maybe on the inside too. HOWEVER! Pool is a great deal here! $5 for an hour or $10 for unlimited. The tables are in good repair (and there are lots of them), as are the cues. Basically you tell them what table size you want, get some beers, head over to the table they assign you and flick on the overhead light (fairly certain this is how they track time for those not doing unlimited). No taps, just bottles. You won't see much variety here (Bud, Summit, Grain Belt), but the price is right. They do have food - I have actually heard good things about their burgers, but the first time we went here with the intent of eating, there had been a fire in the kitchen, so no food for us :( The staff that we've encountered are pretty friendly and helpful. If the burgers are as good as I hear I'd be willing to bump up a star. We shall see! read more

For us, this is a great low key date night spot. It's worth the jaunt to NE to have plenty of tables at a decent hourly rate, delicious bar food, a drink, and a game. Amazing food and amazing music in a very random location. We drove by this place quite a lot and we're always curious about the 22 burgers and 22 beers. Northeast is known for really different bars with quirky decor and amazing food. I'm a firm believer in the dives and don't think you have to be in a fancy restaurant to enjoy great food . I came here with a friend from work last night. About 11. I was already pretty drunk....like very drunk....lol. The kitchen went ahead and cooked us anything we wanted even though they were closing the grill in 2 min. I had a BLT and it was awesome. Not your typical crappy bar food. The bread was thick and really made the sandwhich. The fries were super good too. Something like a BLT could easily be just ok, but this guy did a great job. And the 3 people working all chatted with us. They were friendly and great. My kind of people. There were only a handful of customers. And this place is HUGE so it felt empty. I am completely shocked in the way my family and I were treated in this place. I came down from New York for a couple of days and to have to be treated the way I was made me glad I was going back to New York. I was enjoying myself with my family, having a great time and one of the workers approach me and say " Hey, do you guys mind moving to tables 2 and 3( which were the tables far away from everyone else) I asked why we had to move and she said because that there weren't rooms in between the tables and that we were making A LOT OF NOISE. Very confusing interactions with the staff behind the counter who don't understand basic customer service. Lighting and decor gives a slightly depressing feel. Generally odd music being played.
