Some friends and I were looking at getting some late night bites and decided to check this place out after playing some pickleball. This place gave me "dive bar" type vibes and had plenty of TV's showing various sports games. We decided to go family style and share some food. We went with some wings and cheese curds. Some other friends got two pizzas (they do BOGO pizza) which I wish we knew about before ordering. The food tasted really good and the service was decent as well. This place isn't nearby so I wouldn't say that I would come here frequently, but if I'm ever in the area, I'd definitely check it out! read more

Great menu with a lot to choose from! I had the duck wontons, which were really good! The prices were average. The restaurant is very reminiscent of your typical sports bar. We went around 1pm and sat in the bar, it wasn't very busy. I'm sure I'll be back! read more

We stopped in on a late Thursday afternoon for a post unloading move in. It was surprisingly quiet, only a few other small tables; good to know....a late lunch is an ideal quiet time to dine. The menu options were plenty, but not overwhelming. We all opted for burgers; pizza, cheesy and Ranch Hand. None of us finished. I didn't even finish my fries! Kareem was our attentive and friendly server. Thanks Muddy Cow for a friendly and delicious inaugural visit, cheers! read more

Great late night place to grab a burger, pizza or other similar entrees aka bar food but better. Service was great as we had a super friendly waitress. The ambience was good. We were able to watch some of the basketball games going on (March Madness). I enjoyed my bourbon burger and our Moscow mules were tasty but maybe could use another splash of bourbon? We are staying in a hotel right next to it so we will most iikely visit this place again before leaving. read more

Rude employees, was picking up a to go order ($40 for the food tonight) and we forgot to order one side of ranch, the host said she would grab it for me. Someone else came back from the kitchen and said to ring me up for a side of ranch, stood there an extra 5 minutes while the host searched for where to charge for the one side of ranch. Hopefully that 80 cents really helped the business stay afloat haha read more

Service was a little bit slow, but the food came out super fast was hot and delicious. The mac & cheese was also really good. Just don't reheat it. It doesn't turn out as good that way. read more

Ate at the Muddy Cow twice while in Minneapolis. The service was great. Both times our server was Geovanny. He was friendly and always checked with us if we needed anything. We had burgers the first night they were really good. The dill fries are really good. The second night we had pizza. But one get one free. We had a supreme and a pepperoni. Very good pizza. read more

Sat there for 15 minutes at 1pm and no one came to serve me. Not busy either, won't be back!

This place is always busy! I placed an order over the phone for Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. I'm willing to make a 20+ minute drive just for this Mac & Cheese, which says a lot! It was ready by the time I visited, and the parking lot was packed. The cavatappi noodles soak up the Buffalo cheese sauce. The chicken maintained its crunch and the meal was still warm by the time I made it home. The portion was plenty for the price. This is absolutely a crave worthy meal. When we visit in person, we love that they always have 2-4-1s. I would also highly recommend the dilly fries (fries with dill pickle seasoning) for those who love pickles - such a unique concept, and so tasty! read more

Geovanny was too busy flirting at the host stand to take our food order. I was starving and so was my friend. he served many people before us and we never saw him after he brought drinks. it was about 40 minutes in total . every week it gets worse and worse. i don't know if he does not like us or just can't serve. read more

Great environment with good TVs. Nick is the best bartender. Love the 2 for 1 drinks.

Love this spot! Very big and excellent service. Easy to get to with a ton of parking. The fried pickles were amazing. Even better than the state fair. Fun spot with pull tabs, pool, darts. Sports bar vibe. Great spot for a game or dinner read more

This place is awesome! Shahara is the best bar tender I have ever met! The best time!

Well, we walked in. Sign said "seat yourself". So we sat down in a booth. The place was nearly empty. 10 minutes in, I found a menu in the server station and passed them out to the family. 10 minutes later we walked out! How can any business these days afford to have customers walk out the door??? This was January 21st 2026 early afternoon. Went here with family for a late lunch and it was awesome! I meant to take pictures of the food, but honestly, I was so hungry I forgot. I ordered the BLT which was great. The bacon was perfectly crispy. My husband got the bacon beer cheese burger and I had a little taste. Oh my goodness, that was delicious. The service was great and when we went the drinks were buy one, get one free. We definitely plan on coming back here. read more

Visited here with my wife and two adult kids. Wr were seated immediately. It's a big space. The 2 for 1 drinks is a regular "special". The bill was electronic so I never looked at the individual prices. They have some craft beers on tap. The menu is decent. The chicken wings are the full three part wing. I had to take a to go box. I have wings, wontons, and a salad. Two of us had the Mac and cheese. The server was attentive. The food was good. I'd certainly swing in again when in the area. read more

We had no trouble being seated and could have sat anywhere. We chose the bar side and service was wonderful. We started with the fried garlic cheese and Marinara it wasn't really cheese curds. They were pretty good and came out very quickly. I ordered Mac & cheese with bbq. I loved the fried pickles on top. It also had a bread stick. My husband had a bbq burger and it was cooked well. It came with a side of chips. They have the buy one get one beer deals. It's a fairly typical kind of tavern/bar restaurant. There is a cute cow in front of a fireplace where everyone seems to like to take pictures. read more

Stopped in for lunch with my husband while in the north metro. We were warmly greeted by the host and our server. Our drinks and our food came quickly. We were happy with our lunch choices. I had the boneless chicken wing wrap and it was stuffed full of chicken. No skimping! The fries were also amazing! Both my wrap and my husband's burger were very good. The only pitfall was that the door handles, the beer menu and our table top were sticky/grimy. Also our server reeked of cigarette smoke. (She was however really wonderful!) We will consider returning because of the positives. read more

Had the baked walleye dinner w/salad and vegetables. Price is pretty good for the portion. Drinks were two for one , I highly recommend that tequila mule. A good large selection of drinks at the bar to pick from. The hostess, who is sitting people at the table, didn't seem like she was having a very good night, but the young lady, that waited on the table was on top of things. She was very attentive to the table. read more

Greetings from California! I'm visiting the Minneapolis area on holiday and stopped in for a meal here: My girlfriend and I ordered the poutine and buffalo chicken mac & cheese, and they were both fantastic! Her cousin ordered their bourbon burger with an Impossible patty and said it was similarly delicious. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful, but seemed stretched a bit thin with how many guests there were. The sports bar setting's nothing to write home about, but the place was clean and that's the important thing! Would absolutely come back again for the poutine. read more

I usually go to Muddy cow to play bingo. I went on the 27th(usually not a bingo night) I won't be going there again. I had the worst server! He was so rude. Didn't come to the table at all. And when I did get him to come over for a soda refill, he brought back a sprite with no ice! Really rubbed me the wrong way. It's a shame...can't believe they have this guy serving? If I could give zero stars I would! read more

Service was excellent, place was clean & I enjoyed the food as well. I would definitely return!

It was absolutely awful. The burger was dry, the beer stale, the fries were the only thing I can think were decent. The server was nice she was quick to help us and asked us about how it was. The overall experience was like a 2/10 I walked into the restroom and there was urine all over the floor, the sinks were caked in soap, and the floors were extremely sticky. read more

I was a fan of this restaurant/bar after stopping by when I. The Coon Rapids area. Wasn't sure what to order, as I've heard their burgers and wings are both great. I ended up with the Buffalo wings and was worth it, as the wings were fried perfectly and were super crispy. The Buffalo sauce smell had me a little concerned as it seemed like they would be super hot. They weren't hot at all and had a good flavor. I would've preferred a little more heat, but was super happy with the flavor. The seating area is huge and there is plenty of tvs, games (darts, video games, pull-tabs). If you have a big party, this is a good place to go. Instead of free popcorn, they have cheese balls. I was too full to try, but very unique. I did notice that it wasn't that busy and service seemed to be a little slow, but we were in no rush so didn't affect us. read more

First time to visit the COW! Place was jam packed with people. We tried their Supreme Pizza which looked delicious in the photos. Well the pizzas arrived and they looked like they were thrown together and several ingredients were missing such as Black Olives . We ended up having to pack up both pizzas in two boxes to go home with. I found their mixed drinks on the spendy $ide too. I plan on returning someday to try their Burgers read more

Beer was not cold and tap was pouring an incorrect brand. Onion rings doughy. Burger tastes good but bacon was not cooked enough...had severe stomach problems overnight. Customer next to me wiped the bar where he was sitting because it was sticky. The place has potential but no ambition. Mini doughnuts always good, but $9! read more

Luckily, we live close by to the Muddy Cow in Coon Rapids so we often stop here. Food servings are large and we never leave wanting for more. Waitstaff is super friendly and the atmosphere is always fun however, it can get a little loud at times. read more

I just went with my dad to Muddy Cow, and it's a wonderful establishment. The atmosphere inside is quite alike a cabin feel. From the dark bricks to the wooden beams overhead, it's certainly quite homey. We sat next to the window looking out to the water fountain by the patio, and it was enjoyable. Our server was really kind and responsive. We ordered some fried pickles, my first time trying them, and they were delectable. My main course was the pepperoni pizza, which we were told would arrive in 20 minutes, and I believe it came even quicker. The slices were quite cheesy which I'm personally not a huge fan of, but the flavor was undoubtedly tasty, especially getting to the crust (scrumptious). I live in Florida, but I hope I get another chance to come to Minnesota for second visit to this place. read more

Our server disappeared after bringing our drinks and didn't return for 15 minutes or more in an almost empty restaurant. We ordered burgers that the menu said were butter infused which is why we ordered them, thinking they would be fresh ground beef. Not only were they not 1/3 lb, more like 1/4 lb, they were frozen patties and dry! My husband said his patent leather loaders from 3rd grade had more juice in them! We won't return. read more

Came here for dinner when staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the parking lot. It's a convenient choice within walking distance with a rather large establishment that fits a lot of people. Saw lots of families and couples of all ages. We sat outside by the fountain, and it was nice to hang outside and chat in a small group over some food and drinks. The drinks were all two for one, so my coworker and I shared the mango blonde, which was light and fruity and delicious. I ate some really oily and salty cheese curds with ranch and a spicy sriracha sauce that I didn't really care for, as I'm not a fan of spicy food. I also got their Paul Bunyou burger, which was touted as a specialty of the place. It was only $5 for $5 burger Mondays instead of $11.50, and I upgraded to waffle fries for $2. Yummy, heavy, greasy--my burger was topped with bacon, provolone cheese and sautéed mushrooms, topped with a jumbo onion ring, cheese curds, and house gravy. I feel a bit sick from downing my meal, but boy, it was quite an experience to eat it. The burger itself was meh--ok but nothing amazing--but the toppings are what made it over the top. read more
