Some friends and I were looking at getting some late night bites and decided to check this place out after playing some pickleball. We stopped in on a late Thursday afternoon for a post unloading move in. It was surprisingly quiet, only a few other small tables; good to know....a late lunch is an ideal quiet time to dine. This place is always busy! I placed an order over the phone for Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. I'm willing to make a 20+ minute drive just for this Mac & Cheese, which says a lot! It was ready by the time I visited, and the parking lot was packed. The cavatappi noodles soak up the Buffalo cheese sauce. The chicken maintained its crunch and the meal was still warm by the time I made it home. The portion was plenty for the price. This is absolutely a crave worthy meal. When we visit in person, we love that they always have 2-4-1s. We had no trouble being seated and could have sat anywhere. We chose the bar side and service was wonderful. We started with the fried garlic cheese and Marinara it wasn't really cheese curds. Stopped in for lunch with my husband while in the north metro. We were warmly greeted by the host and our server. Our drinks and our food came quickly. We were happy with our lunch choices. I had the boneless chicken wing wrap and it was stuffed full of chicken. No skimping! The fries were also amazing! Both my wrap and my husband's burger were very good. The only pitfall was that the door handles, the beer menu and our table top were sticky/grimy. Also our server reeked of cigarette smoke. (She was however really wonderful!) The Buffalo sauce smell had me a little concerned as it seemed like they would be super hot. They weren't hot at all and had a good flavor. I would've preferred a little more heat, but was super happy with the flavor. The seating area is huge and there is plenty of tvs, games (darts, video games, pull-tabs). If you have a big party, this is a good place to go. Instead of free popcorn, they have cheese balls. I was too full to try, but very unique. I just went with my dad to Muddy Cow, and it's a wonderful establishment. The atmosphere inside is quite alike a cabin feel. From the dark bricks to the wooden beams overhead, it's certainly quite homey. We sat next to the window looking out to the water fountain by the patio, and it was enjoyable. Our server was really kind and responsive. We ordered some fried pickles, my first time trying them, and they were delectable. My main course was the pepperoni pizza, which we were told would arrive in 20 minutes, and I believe it came even quicker. The slices were quite cheesy which I'm personally not a huge fan of, but the flavor was undoubtedly tasty, especially getting to the crust (scrumptious). Came here for dinner when staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the parking lot. It's a convenient choice within walking distance with a rather large establishment that fits a lot of people. Saw lots of families and couples of all ages. We sat outside by the fountain, and it was nice to hang outside and chat in a small group over some food and drinks. The drinks were all two for one, so my coworker and I shared the mango blonde, which was light and fruity and delicious. I ate some really oily and salty cheese curds with ranch and a spicy sriracha sauce that I didn't really care for, as I'm not a fan of spicy food. I also got their Paul Bunyou burger, which was touted as a specialty of the place. It was only $5 for $5 burger Mondays instead of $11.50, and I upgraded to waffle fries for $2. Yummy, heavy, greasy--my burger was topped with bacon, provolone cheese and sautéed mushrooms, topped with a jumbo onion ring, cheese curds, and house gravy. I used to live in the area and regret not going here more often. I actually pulled in the parking lot one time, parked, walked up to the door and kind of peaked in and it gave me a weird vibe so I left. My coworker mentioned the wings being really good here a few times so I finally worked myself up to go check it out, I'm glad I did. Can't judge a book by its cover, right?! They have 2 for 1 drinks at all times, which is amazing for days you miss all the Happy hour deals else where. The food has been really good every time. So far I've only tried the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak and Chicken wings. My friends have tried some of the burgers (I don't eat beef) and they've reported back that they were good! Pretty big restaurant/bar and almost always busy every time I go. I've never had to wait longer than 5-10 minutes for a table. I've only been on the restaurant side.
