One of the better meals I had in Minnesota. A group of four had a reservation for this restaurant. Everyone minus me ordered beer. I mainly just wanted food as I was beginning to get hungry. I think right there may be the only problem. Given the hunger, the wait for the food seemed eternal. I can't comment about others' dishes except to say they had salmon and beef and no one complained about anything. I personally had the chicken Alfredo with broccoli and inhaled it like a vacuum cleaner. Another one of us had the same dish minus the chicken; she also inhaled. Overall, it was a pleasant meal. Food was ok at best. We ordered the New York Stip and Prime Rib. Prime rib had no flavor and was tough to cut. The new york strip had a little flavor; a little easier to cut than the prime rib. The only food we did order we liked was the duck wantons. Also when i stepped outside to start my car and have a quick cigarette, i turned to find out that the doors were locked when i went to reenter at 9pmish. Had a large group in for a late lunch on a Friday. Zero wait. Service was solid. Food was about as mediocre as it gets across the board. Some folks in the group were happy with their meal. I have mixed feelings about this place. I stopped in with a friend for lunch on a Saturday and we each decided on a salad and that we'd share a side of Parmesan fries (pro tip: always order a side of fries, especially these fries, they were seasoned perfectly). At first this place was giving 5 star energy with super easy street parking right in front, getting seated immediately, booth seating preference was granted, super positive and competent server, and waters were brought over right away. Our server Jessica gets a 5/5 in my book - attentive, excellent recommendations, fun and personable! But... I think our food took 30+ mins to show up. There weren't that many people in the restaurant so we were confused what could be taking so long for a couple salads. I guess if the kitchen was running behind I would have appreciated a heads up or possibly the fries coming out sooner? My friends steak house salad came without dressing, when we pointed it out, our server mentioned that the kitchen often misses that. I thought the plating and presentation was lacking. Yes, they're just salads, but I thought the place was nicer than to literally throw a salad on a plate. I think even the bowl was better but I felt like I was eating at a cafeteria the way it was presented. I think a tiny bit nicer serving plates could do a lot for this place. This place was clean, and I did enjoy the huge windows allowing for a ton of natural light. I would like to try this establishment again, possibly for dinner as it looks like the dining room could be nice in dark lighting as well. I also heard they have live music here. Stopped for dinner by myself. It was quiet with wonderful warm ambiance. Felt welcomed and appreciated as a guest. Great selection of food, especially for foodies. Server was wonderful, attentive without being annoying. Very good at her job. I really wanted the NY strip but it was a 14 oz serving! Yikes! Full bar with signature cocktails and happy hour deals. The roasted brussel sprout app is a must. I ordered Mac n cheese with bacon then added steak. It's homemade so the cheese flavor is mild. Only downside is side is, it's a bit bland. Ok food, need some better staff training. We went for brunch with my bf's mom. His mom and I both ordered the hash. My bf goes for pancakes. Asked our server difference between a whole and half order. She says two and four. He ordered the whole order. Food runner comes out with the wrong order. Whoops. Once the correct order comes out, only three pancakes. Server comes by at the same time. We said, thought there was supposed to be four. She goes to talk to kitchen and comes back to say my bad, only three. The hash has brisket in it and it's really oversmoked. I love bbq, and even smoke my own meats but I thought I was almost chewing on smoked wood chips it was so strong. My bf did enjoy his pancakes. Small upside. Now, here's the kicker. We go to leave, and our server is sitting at the table behind us. Never came back to grab the check so we assume we pay up front. Get up there and there are two people waiting for pick up orders and no hostess to be seen. Mind you, restaurant is maybe at 25% capacity at most and I've seen at least two servers a good runner, and a hostess. So my bf's mom is going to pay, so he and I go outside as to be socially distanced and not clog up the waiting room. The server sends out another staff member to chase is down saying we didn't pay our bill. I'm, excuse me?! Have you looked at the group of people waiting to be helped at your counter??? Server was indifferent at best and inattentive. Chicken on the cashew crunch salad was burnt and overcooked and we had to flag down the server since she never followed up with us on how the food was. What a delightful find in a rule area in Minnesota. The new chef and owner take pride in presenting a great pub experience, with a huge selection of draft beers, bottles, and other drinks. They (manager Cole) said they will do a reservation for 12 for us tonight after I said we will go elsewhere if you are not willing to. Get there- no reservation then had to wait 40 minutes for a table to free. Service was poor (being nice here) when food came out all of it was wrong to the point no one knew what was what. I've been here a few times now and can only comment on the burgers. They are so good I haven't tried anything else. They grind the meat in house and in my opinion they are something special. This place is an amazing gem nestled into downtown Delano. The place was clean and spacious when we walked in. The staff were all very friendly! Our food was amazing! We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer, but it came out the size of a meal! Haha! We were totally okay with it being so big because it was delicious. We cleaned the plate. I ordered the veggie burger and my husband had the Mac n cheese. My son ordered something but I forgot. He loved it though! I had a really good beer as well. We stopped for dinner at the Brickside. The food was really great. Best in a long time. But our server, Steve, made the evening fantastic. He of course walked us through the options, but he was so fun to talk to. We invited him to join our table if 5. Of course he declined but he was one of those people you want to hang with. Very disappointed with this place. I came here with a couple friends a few days ago. Two of them ordered the steak, two ordered the reuben, and I ordered the lobster mac and cheese. One of my friends got a side of normal mac and cheese and it tasted like burnt toast! I don't know how they made it but it was definitely burnt (the waitress kindly took this off of her bill.) The two that ordered steaks received two cuts that were smaller than the amount of fries they got- seriously it was the smallest steak I had ever seen. It's unreal how good the burgers are here. I felt like I should turn myself in for committing a crime after I ate one. Chicken wings are amazing and just about everything else that I've tried. I went there on a Thursday night. We ordered an appetizer and cocktails, so far so good. However, it took forever for our meal to arrive, between 45 minutes to an hour (yes, the place was busy). The chicken in my sandwich was at room temperature, the other two other chicken meals at our table were half burnt. The asparagus wasn't fresh, it tasted frozen.
