The menu for food and drinks were all changed to be named after SB related references which was really fun. We ordered a few drinks, mocktails and food. The food is more so bar food, bites. We ordered pickle roll up's, chicken lettuce wraps, onion rings and they were all very basic and imo not worth it for the prices. I'd prefer to eat some where before and then come here for drinks. The drinks were decent. A lot of them had bitters, which I'm not a fan of at all but I know it's very common at cocktail bars. I did find a few without and went with those. One was called campfire song song. It was like a s'mores espresso martini which I loved. Our waitress was really nice, attentive and in tune with the theme. I loved her enthusiasm. Overall it was really cute and I can tell beyond the theme it's a cute place to grab drinks with friends. I'd for sure come back for other themes or just to just out the normal vibe.

The names were clever, the drinks were unique, and the staff was knowledgeable. The Parmesan Truffle Fries were crispy, meaty, and the jalapeño sauce gave them a nice kick. The Cowboy Corn Poppers (not pictured) were crunchy on the outside while creamy and flavorful on the inside. This was the perfect way to end the night with friends. I gave the waitress Barbra (2) $20 bills.. so $40 total. I asked for change back to I could give an appropriate tip. Barbra brought back a $10 bill and shortened me cash... the restaurant was busy and I did wait to see if I could get her attention. I did have things to do today so I just took a loss on my change and left the tip. Just wanted to leave a review in hopes of the restaurant ensuring their wait staff gives customers their change! All three add to the Twin Cities' cachet. However, I was taken aback by the attire I saw around me. People were dressed in shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers. It's friggen Saturday night Minneapolis. Have some class! Flora Room was a lovely cocktail lounge, perfect for wooing, but don't expect to strike up a conversation with any of the bartenders. At these Del Prado joints, the staff must be trained not to engage. I'm out alone and enjoy talking. Bartenders used to be part of a lounge's attraction when I grew up in NYC. They learned your name, knew what you did, and gave you a hearty welcome. That, I guess, is not part of the culture in Minneapolis. Well, at least not at the Del Prado restaurants and bars. Chef Del Prado is from Argentina, and certainly, Argentina is one of the warmest and friendliest countries in the world, so I don't get it. I now live up the block from the Flora Room. I'm a neighbor and would like to be treated like one. Neighborly and the Flora Room are distant concepts.
