I have been wanting to try their pizzas since ages, and I finally got a chance to do so. Tell you the truth, I was slightly disappointed for one reason. Pizzas base was very soggy and watery even after cooking it and that messed up my whole mood of enjoying their pizza. They have a policy where they will fix or make another pizza for you if you don't like it, but who really wants to do that..not me. Place is huge, with plenty of indoors and outdoor seatings. Service is extremely quick and pizzas are already within 5 minutes. $7.50 for medium (regular) size pizza, and that's really cheap in my opinion. UNLIMITED TOPPINGS - The best part. Their charred crust is amazing. I'll probably return back to MOD pizza but will try out different location next time. read more

This is by far the worst, worst business I have dealt with in my entire life and I'm in my 50's and this will be the last time I will ever be having this pizza. This is the 3rd time during the last 6 months that this has happened to me. Tried to order online several times, got that there is an error. Used several credit cards thinking it was my card since the website gave me no reason. Then called the store directly...or at least I thought. I wanted to order over the phone. Instead got some corporate person on the phone line who called the store herself. Apparently the store is too busy to take online orders and phone orders. What a disgrace! I love thin crusts, and Mod has great crust, but a proper cheese to crust ratio has to be maintained. There is way too much cheese on their pizzas for how thin the crust is. As a result, the pizza just doesn't taste that good and the crust can't support the amount of cheese so it turns into a floppy soggy mess. It also kind of makes the "unlimited toppings" policy useless, because the crust just can't support that many toppings before it turns into a wet paper towel. read more

I came here as something through my daughters school where they donated 20% of our order to the school which already makes this a great place. Anything that helps benefit our children's education is a plus. When I got here it was packed with all the parents and kids from my child's school yet they were still able to provide friendly fast service and keep everything under control. As far as the food we ordered two pizzas and some soft drinks without a single complaint they were delicious the pizza was a thin crust style pizza. It was very good I probably could've ate two Pizzas myself. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area we had a great time. read more

Decided to stop here while I was out running errands. Loved the pizza!!!! Thin crust, and my choice of toppings. It was cooked well, and very crispy bottom which I like. The service was great! We walked into the store and three employees were verbally fighting over something while there were at least 4 families waiting for their food and making a complete scene in the middle of the MOD. On top of that we were waiting in line for almost 10 minutes when there were only 2 people in front of us in line so we just decided to go somewhere else. I came here this past weekend and was extremely disappointed with the service. Waited over an hour for my pizza that I ordered online before asking for a refund. There were several other customers asking for refunds since their pizzas were also not prepared. The staff working at this location didn't give any update to any of the customers waiting about when their food will be prepared and avoided making eye contact with customers. There are a lot of varieties where you can create your own pizza, but I don't really like to do that so I just asked the young man to make me a pizza salad (which in and of itself is a really cool idea). Just 3 stars for my first visit, but I suspect it will move up. They have some good looking\fresh salads available, but I went for Pizza and was a bit let down. I just wanted a pepperoni pizza, so don't need or want most of the toppings they offer at the included price. The pizza was OK, but I am not a big fan of the dough. Very thin and very soft. Maybe mine was undercooked a bit, and I'll ask for well done next time and see how it turns out. They also cut the pizza into 4 slices instead of 6 or 8, making for slightly unwieldy pizza slices. My first experience at something like this was Snap custom Pizza, which I am a fan of. But they use a conveyor belt system to cook rather than the brick oven, so there is less chance of under or overcooking your pie. I also like that Snap has fresh mozzarella balls in addition to the shredded cheese, I did not see any of this at Mod, just the shredded stuff. I'll be back to check it out, the store itself is very nice and new like everything in this shopping center right now! read more

I was excited to try this place, but was kind of disappointed. We got our pizzas fast. We both got a mini pizza. The pizza was freshly made, had great flavors. We got the Olivia and the Dominic, which was tasty. The Olivia had pesto and balsamic fig glaze, but mine was missing the fig glaze. The crust I did not really like. To me it tasted like a flour tortilla crust placed in an oven. Overall fast pizza, fresh ingredients but the crust was a total miss. this is my first yelp review ever so take it with a grain of salt.. but this place was such a disaster that your boy logged into yelp for the first time JUST TO POST THIS UTTER DISGRACE OF AN ESTABLISHMENT. i came here on thursday (december 8, 2016) mid-afternoon and it was not significantly busy. i asked to build my own pizza to the first person and he set me up fine. passing it along, the second person seemed confused like she was solving a calculus problem asking me "so... uh.. do you want cheese..?" i mean it's a build my own not sure why you'd be confused but yes! we moved on to the toppings, etc.. no problem. i then paid for my pizza and this is where it went downhill. it seemed like there was some confusion with the pizza cutter and cooker as i believe they had no idea whose pizzas were whose (and this is a thursday where i said it was not significantly busy). i was asked if i was rob twice and both times i said i was jay.. i didn't even move roam the place i was in front of the pizza guy the whole time waiting. when he asked the second time, i asked if i could have my pizza well done and he said definitely. i was finally called by the right name and left with my pizza. no, when i got back to work to eat the pizza wasn't burnt IT WAS RAW. seriously the pizza was straight up raw. i would have checked at the place but does any normal person actually check to see if their pizza is raw 24/7? fuck this place -- the owner, manager, and establishment. being brand new, i believe you need a complete re-work on training of staff and management to get this place actually working because when you come here, expect to be slid down the line like chipotle on some clueless staff that have absolutely zero idea what they are doing. 1/5 stars. the 1 is for the decor, everything else sucks. read more

Very unique pizza shop. I visited for the first time today, and really enjoyed my meal. I will very likely visit again and I recommend the place to other people. This is basically the Chipotle of pizza. You get your pizza with all the topics you would like and you don't overpay for the extra toppings that you choose to have added to your pizza. I love that MOD Pizza allows me to top my food with unlimited toppings without discouraging or judging my gluttony. I recently came to MOD to check out the new suburban offering and was a spoiled kid in a candy store. I added about three quarters of the toppings available to my salad and the employees were so nice about mixing and cramming the obscene amount of food into a plastic to-go bowl. I also had one of the pizzas on the menu (no additions to this one), and was happy with the super thin crust and flavors. I would definitely come again, at the very least to test how much I can load onto the pizza. read more

A great place for pizza. I love getting to design my own pizza each time I come. I get to mix and match from their wide selection of toppings and I don't get charged extra for deviating from their predesigned choices. Their shakes are great too. I should have known that something was up when I was told over the phone that my pizza would be ready in 5 minutes. I arrived in about 5, and after more a few minutes, it was ready. When I arrived home I immediately noticed that the pizza was not sliced. After struggling with a knife to cut it I discovered that the crust, which others have described a crispy, was, in this instance, undercooked and soggy. We got a big pizza, the one 1 size above the personal one, with pepperoni, tomatoes and sausage. All I can say is wow, the pizza is good with the great sauce and quality meats. The crust and dough was cooked to a fine crisp where you couldn't wait to finish the crust. Now you must be wondering why this doesn't get 5 stars and that's because my pizza standards are extremely high. The service is also fast and my pizza came out in about 5-10 minutes. Price point is a little high for the amount u get, but I'm always a quality over quantity type of person. MOD was delicious, inexpensive, casual and had great service. I came here for the first time and the guy behind the counter immediately made sure we knew how ordering worked. Their flat prices regardless of toppings is a pretty good deal...they don't have a ton of toppings but it's still pretty good to be able to put anything you want on when there's a reasonable flat rate. You can either make your own or customize/choose one of the pizzas on their menu. I got a buffalo chicken kinda pizza, I think it was called the calexico? It smelled amazing and tasted just as good. Happened to be out in Newtown Square and entered this place with no expectations. First, let me say the staff is amazing and deserves a compliment. Right on top of their game. The point person explained the way to order, and various options with enthusiasm that was not fake. It was like he was sharing something he believed in. Give him a raise (the black guy, and I'm sure you will know which one as are not many in Newtown Square, maybe 3). Second, the main person on duty really made the extra effort to make sure everything was to our liking. Give him a raise, too. In fact (note to owner) make them all partners in your organization because they are making your place a big success. And the pizza? It was great. Not the best I've ever had, but very nice, as I like the thin crust variety with good choice of ingredients. I've had better mozzarella (a bit lacking in flavor, but I'm a bit of a snob about that after having some really good stuff at Eatery in NY) but that's minor. Sauce could use a little more punch. Overall we were very happy (including making our own root beer floats) and the prices were very reasonable. We got the 11" pizzas each as individual servings, but the smaller ones would have been enough (or split a 11" for 2) and then it would be a really cheap lunch. But the best thing about this place is the people that work there! read more
