MOD pizzas and salads are good and I love that you can add any toppings without additional charges. However, this location lacks in urgency, service and customer experience. My husband placed an online order for one pizza at 6:39 PM on a Friday evening (he was going to meet us at the restaurant). The confirmation he received said his pizza would be done at 7:09 PM. My daughter and I got to the restaurant around 6:50 PM; the line was terribly long and slow, but we waited as we love the food. The employees did not look happy to be working and seemed to get frustrated anytime I asked for extra veggies (I got the mega salad which is supposed to come with two servings of every veggie I select, but they just kept putting one serving). We were out of the line at 7:05 PM when my husband arrived. He checked in with the staff to see if his online order was done, was told that it wasn't and they would call his name when it is ready. We all sat at a table, my daughters and my food came out and we started eating while my husband waited for his pizza. 7:09... 7:15....7:20.... In the meantime, we heard another customer complain that her online order wasn't ready yet. At 7:29 (20 minutes after his pizza was supposed to be ready!) my husband went up to ask again if it was done yet. She checked on the status and said, "Oh, it hasn't even been started yet. I'm sorry, I'll cancel the order". As if that wasn't frustrating enough, there was NO attempt by the employee or anyone else on the staff to remedy the situation. No "I'm so sorry, let me make that pizza for you right away!" or "we will make your pizza right away and refund you!" or "we will have your pizza right out and get you a discount next time you come in!". The only response he received was a bland "it hasn't been started yet". My husband asked for a refund and walked out. When any type of service establishment messes up, they need to attempt to remedy the situation. Also, don't offer online ordering if you can't accommodate the service. We won't be back to this location due to the lack of customer service and seemingly unhappy employees. read more

Except for the confusion on ordering and how the menu works, the food quality here is amazing for the price. The salads are excellent! Love that this Mod Pizza is so close to Trader Joes, so when my boyfriend and I make our weekly grocery trip there, we always stop at Mod for lunch. I love their crust! Plus it is nice that you can order as many toppings as you want and it does not change the price. On Friday or Saturday nights that place is PACKED. There is usually a line out the door, even worse if there is a local high school sport going on. read more

Love the pizza here. It's a nice size. The only nit-pick here is the dining area. If the place is busy, then it gets loud. Lots of hard surfaces to bounce sound off of. It's enough of an annoyance to just get it to go. read more

I am fan for life. I love the thin crust and am still amazed that you can have WHATEVER you want on your pizza for one very small charge ($8 for an 11" "Mod" size). I am also a big fan of the old fashion lemonade (from concentrate, not powder). read more

I would give this place a 5-star rating if they used all organic ingredients. Other than that, I highly recommend Mod Pizza--the Kent location, in particular. I had a bad experience at the Issaquah location, but the company bent over backwards to regain my confidence (sent me a gift card worth more than I paid for my meal!). I order here every so often and I'm always pleased with my food. This is my first time actually coming into a Mod pizza since its usually picked up by someone else. Music playing in the background is not too loud and not to soft to where you can't hear it. Great place to come and eat. read more

I love this place! The employees are patient and great. Every time I go there, I always hold up the line because I am so undecided on what I want. MOD is like the subway sandwich shop of pizza. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. The crust is very thin just how I like it. The salads are great as well and customized to your liking. Wow, what happened here! Walked in and was greeted with a cheerful smile and then it went down hill! Ordered our pizzas from a very nice person and then wham, the cashier was RUdE!! Was not impressed with the service, atmosphere. The staff could not get the order right. Doubtful I would go back!

II would have given them 4+ but this has happened twice with our call in order & when we have eaten in. I order the "Dillon James" each time we eaten Mod pizza & each time I ask for EXTRA basil (because they add so little it shouldn't be even on the menu) and it was an argument to get some ("we are too low to give extra" or "we have to hand cut it so we can't" or "we were told we can't") when we've eaten there. When we've picked up orders I SPECIFICALLY add "EXTRA EXTRA BASIL" on my internet order & what do I get????? Maybe a tablespoon of basil! WOW! REALLY??? UGH! VERY UNHAPPY! read more

Tried this is Seattle. Immediately felt silly for not trying the one at home. The staff and manager at this location are SPOT ON. Went there one night in particular and they were backed up. Omg! So ibhave to share this, so i went in yesterday around 5:30pm ish and it was kinda slow. About 15 people there, and i was greeted immediatly by every employee! Very friendly! 1 employee stuck out to me! I cant remember his name, but i know hes got red hair, Anyways he made me lauph so hard! Very bubbly personality, and very friendly! He even brang my order to me and two other people! And best of all he opened the door for mte to leave and helped me into my car because i had drinks and a couple pizzas. Was very impressed! I just adore him! I want to come back just to take him amd put him in my pocket! Let alone the amazing pizza i ate! I was verry happy! The store was very clean! And everyone was so nice!
