    Monkey 16' pizza

Service less than desirable. If you like to spend $50+ on a pizza the lest you could do is be accommodating and show some appreciation for customers who drive to your location to use one of your gifted coupons. Obviously I order a lot online delivery and I received a thank you coupon. However, when I went to pickup my order they initially refused to honor it saying I should have used the QR code. Mind you if you are born in the 60's we used plain coupons. Not everyone has a smartphone

5 of us came in for the first time and 5 of us will be back. The pizzas were outstanding, the spaghetti and meatballs are good, the cheesey bread sticks were a super hit- huge serving, tasty marinara, and lots of cheesey goodness. We are new return customers! So so good! ,

Our family took most of the restaurant over when we met for dinner before one of my niece's piano recital in the area. We made reservations & preordered a few pizzas because we were on a bit of a time constraint. The server was very sweet & accommodating. We ordered some salads to round out our meal, we had Caesar & the House salads, really tasty. Tons of different pizzas, sandwiches, calzones, pastas & salads. So much to choose from. Spacious, clean & very kid friendly spot in downtown Renton. We had a party of over 20 people and they were able to take care of us plus 2 more 4 tops.

The food was delicious! The chef sent out their fried sesame cauliflower to try. I could have eaten a whole plate of that by itself! The service was a little slow but totally worth the wait. The restaurant was clean with cute pizza monkey mural on the wall.

Was staying close by at a nearby hotel and didn't want to go out after driving all day. Easy to order online and The pizza and salad arrived in about 35 minutes. The pizza was still hot! Crispy crust just the right amount of topping and a good sauce. Salad was crisp with a lot of good feta. Balsamic dressing was just right- not too oily or vinegary. Will definitely eat again next trip through

I used to come here as one of my lunch spots when I worked in downtown Renton & enjoyed the vibe, chill staff, as well as their lunch combos they have available. Every time Ive come here, I usually go for the pizza. Recently my friend and I ordered delivery since we were craving pasta and it was so good! I had the Basil Pesto Pasta Jungle Fever Pizza Pasta & my friend had the Wild Chicken Penne Alfredo Pizza Delight with a side of Deep Jungle Garlic Bread. Our appetizer was the Leopard's Loaded Potato Bites. Plenty of food (more than what we anticipated - yay leftovers!). We found the food to be everything we were hoping for :) Only thing to note is that we noticed they had free delivery directly from the website & thought it may be worth it rather than use uber eats but after adding everything to the cart, the checkout page was frozen & we were unable to fill out any of the fields (we both tried from our phones). Hungry already, we opted to just go through Uber Eats so it may be their ordering online may be more compatible for laptops or iPad yet it may be worth checking out :)

Omg!!! The goatmary is ridiculously good!!! I mean 5 starts good!!! life changer good! Can't want to order this bad boy again!!! Let's go Renton!

The menu is BIG. Just a way of saying, 'we can do your pizza!'

If you are a Renton-ite, then you know there is no place better than Smoking Monkey Pizza for that awesome slice served with that side Pacific Northwest quirky, counter-culture like grunge. But if you visited sometime after 2024, you are noticing some physical changes, culminating in what looked like post-COVID refreshing, such as a new dining area, and counter service. All of these changes were intentional as Renton is introduced to the Smoking Monkey's latest owner, Anand Kumar and his wonderful family. Taking over in 2021, the changes came subtly. The dining room has changed from an as-is esthetic to refreshed walls and a new counter/bar space with future expansion for beer taps and other spirits. As for food, the classics are STILL on the menu with some expansion into your Neopolitan Italian options to include classic pastas and tasty calzone options. When discussing salads, make sure you get a head count as portions can be generous at times - but definitely tasty. Options spring beyond just the simple ranch, Italian balasamic, and ceasar dressings. Look at the menu for the ever increasing ideas of expanding possibilities. The branding is also changing, so expect our favorite monkey to lose the cigar to be more family friendly and inspire the crowd with its newer jungle-themed mascot. The pizza is still great!! Come to downtown Renton to see your newly rebooted Smoking Monkey Pizza!!! #SmokingMonkeyPizza

Ordered a 16 inch pizza and a slice, the 16 inch was good but the slice was burnt to shit and inedible. Why serve this? Please do better.

I've ordered from here twice, both times they screwed up the order. Plenty of other pizza places in the area. Order somewhere else.

Pizza is good but prices are way too expensive. Over $20 for a 6 slice cheese pizza?!

Any dairy-free options ? And how much for the buffet?

Haven't paid any attention to dairy free options, but the buffet (pizza, salad, pasta( I think dairy free), cookies) is 10.50. There are numerous dairy free items on the menu, including the great cauliflower dish. And I'm sure they can leave off the… Read more

I came across Stevie's Famous via social media and the people weren't lying that they have the BEST…read moresourdough crust pizza in town (maybe in all of WA). I literally made my boyfriend take me here twice in one week because of how mind-blowing good their pizza is! Stevie's sells whole 12" pizzas (made for 2-3 people) and pizza by the slice. They unfortunately don't do half and half pizzas, so you and you companion(s) have to be on the same page if your ordering a whole pizza. On my first visit, I ordered a slice of their classic PEPPERONI ($5.50) and made it a Normie (+$2). I'm not sure who Normie is, but Normie is an absolute genius for adding burrata and hot honey to pizza - a literal kiss from heaven. The burrata and hot honey combo adds lots of complex flavors to your slice - so you get the savory, the sweet, and the spicy in every bite - and complex textures with the crispy chewy crust and the soft and creamy burrata. The pepperoni was fantastic and the sourdough crust was fresh and out of this world! On my second visit, I got a slice of their MUSHROOM GORGONZOLA ($6) and you already know I had to make it a Normie (+$2). The mushrooms were nice and earthy and while this pizza didn't have tomato sauce, it had a nice olive oil base and was super delicious. They rotate their pizza slices daily, but always have your standard cheese and pepperoni. If you're getting a slice, they warm up the slice for you right after you order so the cheese gets super gooey and the crust gets super crunchy. I haven't gotten a whole pizza from them yet, but the make it fresh on the spot. Make sure to grab extra napkins cause the slices do get oily and therefore messy. Service is great and the people working there are super friendly. It takes them only about 5 minutes to warm up a slice of pizza and they always welcome you in and thank you for coming on your way out. In terms of atmosphere, they have limited indoor seating and a couple of outdoor tables. They have merch featuring their dog logo and a couple of arcade machines too. Parking is limited to street-parking only, but I didn't have any issues finding a spot a couple of blocks down. Overall: 5/5 for pizza, 5/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere.
