Such a hidden gem!! I was on my way home from a hike with my dog and remembered someone mentioned this place was dog friendly. We originally planned to sit in the back outdoor area, but one of the staff let us know dogs are also welcome on the patio. (We made sure to keep our dog out of the walk way and under the table so he's not in the way) The atmosphere was super welcoming, the service was great, and the view was beautiful. They have tons of pizza options, plus salads and wings if you want something on the side. We barely had to wait, and our pizza came out in about 10 minutes! They also have a convenient self-serve station for plates, napkins, and water. And the pizza was SO good light, perfectly cooked crust and packed with flavor. So disappointed. Came for Mothers Day all the way from Tacoma. Our pizza, the Nona was not good at all. Margarita pizza was ok. That's probably the first time we didn't finish a pizza. We have pizza night at home all the time and love to try different pizza places which is why we came. I'm sure this is not how they usually make their pizza, I'm going to assume whoever was in charge today Sunday around 3:00pm making the pizzas isn't one of the normals. I've been wanting to try Cascadia Pizza and it was a fun experience!! Read on further for a more detailed dive into my thoughts. Environment: It's an outdoor restaurant, and they have outdoor seating. So make sure you're equipped to deal with the weather or eat/wait in your car! Very importantly, it's not a drive through! You park and have to get out to order. Service: The employees were incredibly helpful, kind, and cheerful. The whole place just felt happy My wait time for 2 pizzas was half an hour, so I ended up just waiting in my car and occasionally having to go up to the counter and check. Also, since it does take about 30 minutes for them to make the order, probably only go here if you're not on a time crunch. Also, I believe calling in and ordering that way would be best if you don't want to wait in the parking lot for a while. They also ended up giving me an additional cheese pizza for free which was super sweet. The food: I ordered a 10" cheese pizza and a 10" s'mores pizza. Together, this was about $25. The pizza was fresh, still warm when I got it!! The cheese pizza was SO good. The s'mores pizza was even better From what I could taste/see, it had toasted mini marshmallows, chocolate syrup, and cinnamon. We asked when it would be ready- multiple servers told us they did not have our order. They made my friend SHOW them her BANK statements, accusing her of not paying. Restaurants that want good, or even better, wonderful reviews have only to accomplish two things! One - delicious food. Two - good, or even better, great service. We ordered: two personal pan-sized pizzas, a pear-goat-bacon salad, and the butter, garlic pizza dough knots, and drank water. Of course, today what used to cost $40 cost $60. The salad was a huge disappointment. It was fresh enough, but apart from the smattering over the surface, there were only greens. The pear was thinly sliced (paper-thin) and could not have amounted to any more than a quarter of a single pear. The bacon bits were slightly more in quantity, but not much; likewise, the goat cheese. The dressing was clearly bottled, a bit strong, and did not enhance the greens at all. The pizzas were better, with a tender crust, while hot. The service was non-existent. Yes, this was a come up to the window and place your order, then we'll deliver it to your table kind of place, so we did not expect pampering, but a check in on you, ie "how is your pizza?" or "can we get you anything else?" would have been nice. If I simply want a good, cold, fresh salad, with more than their miserly toppings, and a decent pizza, I would have stayed home. The best thing was the out door seating looking out over the river. Fell in love with the Nona pizza so we ordered 3 pizzas for delivery but when we called to check i was told to showed for pu only - I asked how soon he could get it delivered & he no we would now have to pick it up - no explanation just refused - how's that for great customer service - so my daughter called since she originally put the order in & was told that they have to use 3rd party delivery service & they are aware there is a glitch in the system where when ordering on their website, not 3rd party, that it gets changed from delivery to pu - so if they know this why can't they have uber or DoorDash just pick it up but they won't & if we go back in to uber eats to reorder it's another $30. We haven't been to the physical restaurant yet, but the Food Truck was in our neighborhood recently, so we gave it a try and WOW! We absolutely loved it! Highly highly recommend the Northwestern and the Wenatchee, which were definitely unique as they both had fruit on them (one had apple slices, the other had pear slices). The balsamic drizzle on both really pulled all the flavors together. Service at the food truck was quick and the pizzas traveled well.
