But the breadsticks are AMAZING. You get hints of Indian species when you smell and taste the bread. Intoxicating. Next time I went, I realized they had Indian pizzas too. On my second trip here, I wanted to try the steak pizza and chicken wings. I ordered the steak pizza on the same square crust that the buffalo chicken pizza comes on, since that was so good. There was a $1 upcharge for the customization, even though the steak pizza costs more to begin with. I added mushrooms for an additional $1.50. I'm not sure if it comes with sauce by default, but I requested "no sauce." The pizza was perfect! The crust was excellently-cooked, and just the right thickness. The peppers, mushrooms and onions were sliced thin, so you got all the flavor without any one ingredient overwhelming the others. The steak didn't really taste like anything, and some people might think it was too dry, but I thought it added great texture. It was like having meat on a pizza, without the flavor of the meat taking over. I got cheese bread again, and it was even better than last time. Squishy and cheesy, with a hint of seasoning and just the right amount of crispness and crunch on the edges. The only disappointment was the chicken wings. I prefer the "flippers," but the entire order was "drummies." They were breaded, and the breading was thick and soggy. The spice level was about medium, and the actual chicken was good, but I definitely won't make the mistake of getting wings again. Not bad, not bad. Pizza's dirt cheap. Crust is nothing fancy, toppings are decent, and the slightly spicy sauce is generously applied, in a good way. Not too greasy, a step up from your typical Domino's fare, and without the chain attached. My 15" Supreme came in under $9, and I believe that is their delivery price, too. Cheese is $6, and Meat Lovers is $12, with their family package deal (for 3 one-topping pizzas, soda, breadsticks) topping out at $27 -- whoa, what a deal, right? That's about what one Pagliacci pizza costs me, sheesh! For a take-out/delivery place, this location is super-hidden, and normally you'd drive right by it if you didn't stumble upon it by going to one of the two auto-repair-type places next door, like I did. I couldn't find a web site for them, for some reason -- they should get one. One stand-out I'd like to mention, is their side of ribs. This $8 side was really good, especially for the price and quantity. I would NEVER expect to get decent ribs at a pizza place, but these were better ribs (with just the right amount of sauce) than I've had in most joints that specialize in ribs -- very tender and tasty. Certainly beats the tenders out of that "other" food chain's excuse for "ribs". PROS: OK pizza at a great value, at a place not a chain. Really good ribs, surprise! Pizza was ready in about 10-15 minutes (perfect timing), pizza shop is small, but has a few seats if you needed to wait. Pizza was great actually, $10 for a 14" supreme (pretty much a large anywhere else). Nice crust, nice toppings, tasty sauce, everything just seems fresh. Ordered from Robin Hood Pizza for the first time tonight. I should have just stuck with Round Table down the street. I ordered a half hawaiian, and half pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Not only was the crust a bit mushy, they charged me for 4 toppings. I tried explaining to the lady at the counter that when you get a half and half pizza, you only use an amount of toppings equal to a regular two topping. She refused to lower the price. I should have just left, but I felt some obligation to buy it since I did order it. The pizza itself wasn't too great. Quality-wise, it is a half-step below pizza hut and at least 2 steps below Papa Murphy's(which is also just down the street). The overpriced toppings were fine but there wasn't that much cheese on it and it was a bit plasticy in taste and texture. As mentioned previously, the crust was a bit mushy and didn't have that nice crunch to it. Kind of like a frozen crust you can occasionally buy in the freezer section of a grocery store. I also got an order of cheese bread. This item was surprisingly delicious. It was far better than the pizza and cost about as much as my "extra toppings" did. The crust was crisp, the cheese was plentiful and there was some sort of parmesan sprinkle on top that pushed the taste into the fantastic territory. Why can't their pizzas be this good? I've been driving by this place since I moved to Auburn. I never heard of this place but always made small jokes on how their business is good because of the nearby pot shop. Well, I was hungry and decided to give Robin Hood Pizza a try. I called in and made my order and was told it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. I bebopped down there and walked through the door. First thing I see is two signs, one sign saying "Smile! You're On Camera!" and one below pokitely saying "No Smoking!" (business is bittersweet). Yeah the place is small with its pictured menus for easy reading and tarp signs with it's taped over prices with the new ones. But my pizza was ready and pipin hot. My pizza was good! The ingredients were fresh and didn't look dry or overcooked. The bread sticks that came with it were fluffy and the seasoning was just right. The marinara sauce was yummy too. I think they put some curry powder in it but damn, it is good!! I will definitely be coming back!! read more

They finally raised their prices by $1 (sometimes more on the combos) except on the breadsticks and soda, but it seems like the topping amounts have reverted back to what they were originally. I'd rather pay a little more and get the same product than deal with what most companies do, which is charge the same and reduce the quantity, quality or both when costs rise. This isn't award-winning gourmet pie, but when you want something tasty and reasonably priced, it fits the bill. Little Caesars has the model for fast food pizza down pretty darn good. Cheap pizza at a cheap price to satisfy the basic craving. Enter Robin Hood. So I call in my order, and by the time I get there? Its done and ready for me, so I return home in 30 minutes total time (from call walking out the door to getting back) with hot, fresh, cheap cheesy goodness. DON'T BOTHER ordered from Eat24. after they were 15 minutes past their 45 minute delivery time at 2pm on a Wed, I called. No one answered at Pizza Place. I called Eat24. They emailed and heard my order was "out for delivery". Another 10 minutes later, the owner of the pizza place arrived. He himself, was polite and apologized. The time, and the food was a disaster. He said his driver won't answer his cell so he had to close the shop and bring me my food. The pizza, though warm, was limp and flavorless. Half , literally HALF of some pieces had ONLY SAUCE on them. The bread sticks were chewy and totally flavorless and had not even any marinara sauce with them! No flavoring, no cheese, no sauce. $10.00 for a large pizza is something you can't beat. Neither is 10 minutes which is how long until your food is ready. The pizza is pretty good nothing fancy but it is pizza! And the wings are pretty tasty too! If you are trying to feed a bunch of kids or want a quick fast meal to feed more than you I would say this is the place to go. I've been told Round Table is a local favorite pizza place, but we've never tried it. Joe and I ate here for the first time today. We ordered an extra large supreme pizza with regular crust. The ingredients were fresh, and the pizza was quite tasty. My only criticism comes from their soda fountain. We are two southern boys from Oklahoma and Texas, and trust me, southerners don't want no stinking Pepsi! I only drink sugar free sodas, and the only option was diet Pepsi. No coke zero. No diet Dr. Pepper. No nothing but nasty diet Pepsi. I like Diet Mountain Dew and diet Sierra Mist, but they were not options here. The Diet Pepsi ruined my dining experience.
