I moved to Maple Valley almost 4 years ago and tried this location right after we first moved. Pizza was sorry looking. Toppings were erratically scattered on the top of the pie and they forgot to put one of those plastic divider units in the box to keep the pizza from coming in contact with the lid of the box. Since that time I went back about a month ago. Store was clean and the staff were focused on making pizzas for call in orders and the delivery people were consistently busy. We got a Supreme pizza and got it right after it came out of the oven. Got it home and enjoyed a well made pizza with fresh ingredients. Easy parking in their lot and friendly staff. read more

The quality of the food and service has improved over the last year or so, and I'm not sure why, but I'll take it. The last few times I've ordered, I've opened the box and have been quite surprised by how nice it looks. Credit where credit is due, this location has improved a lot. read more

The service I received here tonight was appalling and unacceptable. Worker was so grossly incompetent, extremely unprofessional, atrociously rude and mouthy she couldn't even fulfill my order correctly. I had to come back three times in order for her to give me everything I ordered. And when it was all said and done she still had the audacity to tell me that I was in the wrong. Her big ego refused to let her see that a customer was actually right for once. WOW one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The lady at the counter said it still needed to go through the oven . Then I watched her make the pizza. They are trying to change their metrics by saying the pizza is done when it isn't. After being delivered the wrong pizza, we spent hours on the phone...either being hung-up on or placed on hold. Being mad and fed-up with the phone service, I drove to the the Pizza Hut location. The manager in charge that evening (11/16/2016) was awesome. She explained the calls are handled by the corporate call center and not at the store. She re-made the pizza on the spot. Soooo. Maple Valley is the land of pizza- we have SOOOO many pizza places- BUT this pizza is a slice above the rest. Even beating out my favorite Frankies lately. #1- the school does book it, so once a month the kiddo gets a personal pan for free for tracking her reading. #2- the wings are awesome. Keith from Tryguys has admitted that their wings are awesome and surprising- they are! They are a bit spendy but worth it. #3- Employees are great. They are clearly working hard and doing their best. I'm not going to say it's the cleanest place on a Saturday night but overall, the people and the cleanliness are acceptable. Well, it's time someone made a few things known about the practices of this pizza company. I'm reviewing the Maple Valley Pizza Hut next to Fred Meyer. Yesterday I was looking to order a 12 inch pizza and 12 plain chicken wings. I knew this location didn't deliver to me which is silly because I am located only 4.1 miles away from where the restaurant is. I looked at Door Dash to try and get my order and when I saw they wanted to charge me $87.00 for my order I nearly blew a blood vessel. I decided to go look on the Pizza Hut website to see if by some miracle they might deliver to me. No dice!! I decided to order carry out and when I tried to pay the website kept registering an error at final checkout. I then selected pay at the location and my order went through. The total for the order was $53.00 after tip. The food was delicious I will say and it was nice and hot. The location was extremely clean and the staff was understanding of the problem I ran into and very friendly to all the customers. I'm hoping for a few changes, like changing the delivery range or areas they deliver to and, quit doing business with that thieving Door Dash system they are in partnership with. We recently ordered 2 pizzas off the Pizza Hut, Maple Valley website to be delivered, paid with my credit card. The pizza was timely and it was OK. The next day someone used my credit card at Jack in the Box in Fife and they used it again 2 days later at Jack in the Box in Puyallup, $59.! I did not lose my credit card and I did not loan it out. I'm always baffled when I see negative reviews on pizza delivery services. The young staff members that work here are typically starting in the work force for the first time! Recently I remembered they had stuffed crust and decided to enjoy one of their all meat, sausage, pepperoni deliciously stuffed crust pizza. This place is always ready to serve hot pizza! The food was amazing, and the size of the pizza was enough for literally 5 people. The stuffed crust acts like an appetizer, while the pizza is the meal! I am so pleased with the quality of the ingredients, the temperature of the food and the cleanliness of the location. I wish they had a restaurant portion, and I'm sure it doesn't help they are positioned behind a pizza restaurant. With the amazing parking near this Pizza Hut, they definitely make it easy to enjoy the delicious, quick serve, stuffed crust magic of Pizza Hut!!! read more

We ordered the new Detroit pizza from this location tonight in addition to a medium supreme and breadsticks. I'm from the Detroit area and can tell you, our pizzas look and taste nothing like this. I'm not sure if the problem with the pizza is in the poor execution or the recipe itself. What we got was half burnt, half raw pizza with sauce slopped on top and a few pepperoni thrown around. If you are looking for a horrible customer experience, look no further than the Maple Valley Pizza Hut (a franchise owned and operated by Emerald City Pizza, LLC). From their horrible call center to their untrained and exceptionally rude staff, to their antiquated systems and leadership that does not seem to care, they have all of the bases covered. Ordering a pizza? There is a good chance it will be wrong, missing items, or late. If you are as lucky as I am, it will be delivered ice cold, 3+ hours later by your neighbor who discovered a mystery order on their front porch. If you call to ask about your order, you can look forward to being hung up repeatedly, rerouted to a call center of people who don't even know how to use the phones, or laughed at and given the number to corporate. There are too many great pizzas joints in the Maple Valley area for you to waste your time and money on this place. I'm writing this while raging inside about the incompetence at this location today. And on a day I've got 10 people at the house for a birthday party. Number directs you to a call center, there is No way that I could find to call them direct. This Pizza Hut used to be located in Covington, in the same parking lot and general area as Rite Aid and Safeway. The phone number remains the same as the old location, hence the 253 area code. Let me preface my review by stating that I live in kind of a weird location - I'm right next to Kentlake High School, which is in a little niche between Covington, Maple Valley, and Black Diamond. Because of the school/zoning or some other consideration, my address is in "Kent" though. This Pizza Hut store is precisely 3.9 miles away from my home, whereas the Covington store was 5.1 miles away. When this store was in the Covington location, they delivered to my house with no problem. In attempting to order online last night, my husband and I discovered that there are no Pizza Huts that deliver to our home anymore. I called the Maple Valley store to verify, and the (very polite) young woman at the store confirmed that they do not deliver to my location. Really? You're over a mile CLOSER and you don't deliver to my house anymore? We won't be frequenting Pizza Hut any longer. read more

I think some of those reviews are from when it first opened and they were getting the kinks out, which is why we never go to a new restaurant until it's been open a while. We ordered online. It was very easy and intuitive, including removing items from the pizza. The order was ready when I got there - I was in and out of the store in less than a minute. The cookie was perfectly gooey and definitely not overcooked, which has happened before at other locations. Usually not a fan of big corporate pizza chains. The Maple Valley Pizza Hut location is amazing. Reasonbly priced, so last week I ordered for a group of us. It was Pi day, so it was 30% off. Man were they BUSY! When I ordered, I already knew it was going to take at least an hour and a half (prior to placing my order). When we got our delivery, the girl gave us a coupon for a free large pizza because or the extended wait time (took close to 2 hours, but again, already knew it would be a wait and we had beers to drink while waiting, so didn't care and wasn't even thinking about complaining) - THAT is proactive great customer service. Redeemed my coupon today for and it was for ANY large pizza - got all the toppings and special crust and everything. Pizza guy was here before the estimated delivery. Awesome service and good pizza! And yes, we tipped on the total BEFORE the discount. Always make sure to tip prior to discount. Will definitely make this place our go-to for our pizza cravings.
