Placed online order and then picked up up and just ate it hot at the restaurant. I usually eat like 2-3 normal size pizza slices, so the mini pizza is perfect for me to feel full. The bigger pizza I usually have extra leftover. I love how much you can customize the pizza and the topping choices are more than enough for a fast pace pizza place. The default crust is on the thin side, so if you prefer thicker crust then I recommend selecting the thick crust. I always add extra sauce and the food is always fresh. Dislocation seems to have a steady flow of customers regardless of the time that I go there. Deservedly so! The lobby is kept clean and tables are wiped down as guest sleeve. Mod pizza has very good pizza and salads. The no-name cake is really moist and soft. The service is good, sometimes it's a little slow depending on how busy it is. They have a really good gluten free option. The atmosphere is loud and energetic and overall I definitely recommend mod pizza. read more

Honestly don't know if they are hiring illiterate kids to make these pizzas or not. First of all, my order was supposed to be ready to pick up at 6:15 but I had to wait an extra 25 min because they were backed up with orders. Understandable since it was Friday evening. While waiting, there were a bunch of people walking up to complain about their orders being incorrect. They offered to remake the pizzas for them but they all refused because it would've probably taken another 30min to get their new pizza. So I get my pizza and rush home because my wife is hungry and waiting at home. I didn't check the pizzas because I've been to a number of other Mod Pizzas before and have always had a good experience. When I got home I opened up the first pizza and noticed the red sauce on it. I made a comment to my wife about how the ranch is red. She gave me a weird look so I tasted it. And what do you know, it's sriracha. I even watched the kid drizzle the "ranch" on it after checking the receipt. Maybe it was too dark in there to read? I don't know but I'm just appalled he misread ranch for sriracha. Not to mention they forgot the spinach on it. My wife was not happy. I opened my pizza and my blood immediately started to boil. NONE OF MY INGREDIENTS WERE ON THIS PIZZA EXCEPT FOR THE CRUST!!!! Are you kidding me? I waited an extra 25 min for this BS. I'm never going back to this location. The other Kent Kangley location near Trader Joe's is probably a better choice. I have tried MOD pizza a couple of times so far. This review is for this specific location for this time only. I have not faced any issues the last time I ordered from a different location. We went on Christmas Eve when there were very few folks at the location but they still managed to get our order incorrect. It seemed like this happens often because when we got back home and called them up they offered to remake a pizza for free but they did sound very nonchalant about the whole thing. No apologies offered, of course. Pros: 1. Relatively inexpensive pizza for unlimited toppings!! 2. They have a plant based "meat" option!! 3. I recommend the thick crust option unless you really prefer thin ones. Cons: 1. Pizza tasted ok... nothing I would crave to eat again. 2. I love this location and its staff so much. I have had horrible pregnancy related food aversions and cheese-less pizza from MOD seems to be the only thing I can keep down these days. To say that I have been getting pizza lately is an understatement. I have been coming in daily and the staff is always so cheerful and nice. I order on the mobile app and the pizza is always ready at the time it says. I walk in the staff says "hi" and my name. Today on Saturday around noon they were SLAMMED so many people, yet my pizza was there on-time with the same nice customer service from the staff. They even commented that my order changed a bit and they made it correctly. The last two years have been hard on everyone. I have not had such nice and personable service often lately. This is the second time I've been to this location in three years. I wasn't impressed the first time, thought the quality low considering the price, but decided to take my son today to give it another shot today. Disclaimer: I ran a wood-fired pizza oven for a year at an extremely busy location of another local chain located next to a large manufacturer of airplanes. We did volume. I've done pizzas, calzones, strombolis, you name it. I know how to run product in and out of a wood-fired pizza oven and I know what it should look like. Just to get that out of the way so that I don't have nine clowns that have never worked in the hot part of of a restaurant coming down on me about my burnt pie being "artisan." There's art, and then there's slop artists. Mod Pizza is the latter. Right. So, while waiting in line, I already had a bad feeling. Nobody is standing in front of the oven watching the bake. A rotating cast of employees is coming by at intervals to pull product. Strike #1. I'm watching pizzas get pulled that have one burnt side and a blonde opposite side, meaning the pie wasn't rotated during the bake. Strike #2. When we got our 11" mod pizza with three toppings, it was center-topped and because of the lack of attention, they allowed a 3" bubble to form near the burnt side pushing all of the toppings to the end of the slice. Strike #3. If you're properly watching your product, you pop the damn bubbles as they form because they push the toppings askew. If you don't throw all the toppings in the middle, you have toppings all the way to the crust, and half the meal isn't crust and sauce. Burnt on one side means you're leaving the product in the oven too long and not rotating it for an even bake. The fact that there's not someone constantly standing in front of the oven managing the product tells me, you, and everyone else who gives a damn everything we ought to know about what this business cares about their quality. Cool piercings and facial hair seem to be more important than what you're offering the customer, and for that, I won't be back. Also, even after dumping tablespoons of stale Parmesan and Italian seasoning on my pizza, it was by far more bland than even Domino's. Put some kind, ANY kind of seasoning in your dough. And $3.97 for a damn 11.2oz bottle of Red Stripe? Please. If you think Chipotle is Mexican food, I guess you might think Mod Pizza is real "artisan" pizza. I'm shaking my head in dismay at that one reviewer who thinks they know better than everyone who complained about burned food. read more

I was trying to order pizzas off the website, I haven't done that before so i signed up. It would not accept my sign up and would not tell me what I needed to fix. I called the store, spoke with 4 people, none could help me and none offered to take the order over the phone. By the time we made some progress on the website it was too late to have pizza delivered. There are a lot of pizze places out there and we will visit them from now on. I pile on lot of veggies (artichoke hearts, olives, mushrooms, garlic, roasted broccoli) along with the non-dairy cheese and it tastes great. I add dried oregano and sriracha, which are available along with a bunch of other condiments. My BF had a basic cheese pizza and said it was great. I ordered a gluten free pizza (personal preference, not allergen), and asked if the person could change their gloves because I was allergic to pineapple and they had previously touched the pineapple. But, another person who works there felt the need to chime in and tell me that they wont always do this, especially when it's busy. He then said that if it's a true allergy, then they might make an exception.... I told him that it was an allergy, which was why I stated it as such. I just found it to be very weird and unprofessional. Meanwhile, there were 2 people in line behind me, and it was after 8PM. So that "busy" that he was speaking of wasn't even a thing... I probably went at the wrong time to have it be my first experience. We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. My son had a soccer game and we met up with some friends so we could all eat lunch together and catch up. Well, I'm pretty sure every other soccer family had the same idea because they were busy. We found a table no problem, sat the kids down and waited in line for over 10+ minutes. I feel like the build-your-own station could be a little bigger or better constructed. There's a 2-person team that builds your salad or pizza, then someone is baking the pizzas behind them. It's just like subway, but so much busier that the wait time is almost too long. Anyways, the customer service was so-so. You could tell they were trying to just get through everyone so the line went down so I wasn't put off by that. I got a salad and my son got a mini pizza. Neither were out of this world flavors. The pizza was good because the crust was extra crispy, but most people don't like thin crust like I do. The salad was also good, but again, I can make an equally good salad at home too. All-in-all, I won't go out of my way to go here again. Basically it's like Subway for pizza - they get the dough, and you can add anything and everything you want on it, just for a set price.
