I live close to this location and frequently dine here. Food quality (both Taco Bell and KFC) is consistently good. The lobby is clean and monitored often by the staff. But they say the devil is in the details. Almost every time I come in it takes several minutes for someone to acknowledge walk-in traffic. Everyone is focused on the drive-through. The parking lot is generally full of cars waiting for orders and even the delivery drivers have to wait when they come in, POS materials are often stored next to the soda station or on the counter. The outside lighting right above the main entrance has been out for over one month now. Minor issues, but visible. Restrooms are generally clean and I see staff checking on them frequently. I visit this taco bell at least (and i mean at the very LEAST) 3 times per week. The food is life changing, i literally can't stop eating here. ITS SO GOOD. It's like a mediocre taco bell, but even a mediocre taco bell is the outstanding restaurant. taco bell is probably my favorite thing, personally, or place on the earth. my go to order is a black bean crunch wrap and a small nacho fry. i also sometimes get 2 bean and cheese burritos. they're prepared gracefully by the handsome employees, usually to a underwhelming level of quality, but honestly do not care because it's still really good. i love you. As for ambience, siting inside this restaurant is a great experience. i don't often eat inside, but sometimes i do when with friends. it's clean enough inside and layed out well. the homeless man who sits in the corner oftentimes adds a level of homeyness that makes me feel like this is the right place to be, a calming constant. read more

Wow I'm extremely disappointed in the experience i just had here. There was nobody in line behind me and less than 15 seconds after i pulled up from the speaker i asked if i could add a snacker. Best location I've been to. Staff were pleasant, happy and gave me a complimentary drink while I waited. Supervisor was such a joy to deal with. I won't go anywhere else anymore. I'm going to actually going to give this place for stars. Now please understand that KFC Taco Bell they're all the same atmosphere there pretty much all the same food. However, what made this place a four star review was there overly friendly staff member, their hygiene on preparing their food and their cleanliness of their kitchen. I finally decided to go in and order food here which gave me the opportunity to actually look inside their kitchen. Their floor was kept spotless countertops were clean stainless steel was shiny and Polished. That is impressive to me for a fast food restaurant. Went there 11/01/18 and ordered food via the drive-through and came up short an item. Two hours later I went back and picked up additional food and advised the window person of the previous missing food item and was told I would get a free "replacement." Guess what no free replacement and another missing food item on the second order!!! Not surprised that this particular Taco Bell rates low on Yelp. Unfortunately there are not too many restaurants in Maple Valley so I'm forced to hit this place more then I care too. A word to the wise though check your orders before leaving the window because screwed up orders happen way to often at this restaurant. Everytime I have gone to this location they are always out of something. The basics. Crispy chicken and no pop corn chicken at 8 pm, they were out of Cole slaw at 2:45 pm last week. About 2 months ago I went and they were out of chulpa shells. When I have asked why they are always out of stuff during opening hours the excuse I got is that they are so slow so they don't prep as much. This was the last straw. I will no longer go there. The teenage "general manager" who doesn't have a boss needs some training! I went through the drive thru at 5:33 today and was missing 2 items and was charged extra in 3 items for no meat! I've gone there (about 15 times now) they have gotten something wrong with my order. I don't even attempt to order anything that has to do with the KFC side of things anymore because it will take 10+ minutes. Once I waited 27 minutes for food that I ordered. TWENTY SEVEN MINUTES! I was so hungry I got back in line and ordered a burrito, got it, ate it and still had time to make friends with an old man in the lobby also waiting for his food. We were the only two people in the place, and there were only 2 cars in the drive thru in that time. They threw in a free cake for my troubles, but honestly I just wanted to go home by then. There are 2 competent employees that I can tell, but the rest of them... I went through the drive thru the other day and one employee asked me to relay something to a 2nd employee. But, unfortunately this Taco Bell is the worst, do not go here... you will wait an inexcusable amount of time for them to make a simple order (I've given this spot multiple chances and never seems to fail they take too long); e.g. the last time we went through the drive-thru at about 7PM it took 29 minutes to get our food. Worst part is, you can't escape the drive-thru! I've filled out the surveys on the receipts, but either TB doesn't care or the franchisee doesn't... it's quite surprising. This place always seem to close early. When I say early I mean the hours are posted as closing at 10pm but they stop answering the drive thru at 930. One night I stayed at the ordering menu until someone poked their head out the window and beckoned me to move forward. When I pulled up they said "what do you want?" I said I wanted to order and they said "we're done for the night". Then a manager came out and asked me why I was still there. Just a very weird situation and a rude experience. Okay let's all be honest here, we don't come to Taco Bell for true Mexican cuisine. We just wanted a quick convenient calorie intake on our post hike drive back through Seattle traffic. On 3/26 @ 3:45 PM the person at the window really wanted nothing to do with us. After taking our order and accepting our money, the window stayed open and she stood at the door of what im guessing is the managers office and continued her conversation with the person in the room. We waited on the receipt and food as the person making our bite ran around and even got our sauces ready for us. The cashier continued with her chat periodically giving us blank stares and never got us our receipt nor our drink. I am so confused how you can so easily ruin the convenience of quick food when we were one of three cars and no customers inside. I want my drink and my receipt to call your manager, but then again your direct supervisor was probably the one in the room distracting you from doing your job. Every single table had food and debris from prior meals, there was no ice in the dispenser, and our food was handed to us in a to-go bag even though we had asked to eat in.
