I hadn't visited this gem in quite some time, and I'm happy to say it's just as good as I remembered. The staff were wonderful--clearly working as a team and supporting one another, even during a busy service (which came as no surprise given how delicious the food is). My salad was slightly under-seasoned, but I still enjoyed it, and everything else we tried was fantastic--from the pizza to the cannolis. I would absolutely recommend this place!

I asked Yelp's new AI to recommend a good Neapolitan pizza spot and it found this so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a lovely cozy traditional restaurant with charming decor. The service is very friendly and efficient. Shout out to Liza for amazing service! Alright on to the food. Cappuccino 5/5 This is a very good cup of coffee that really reminds me of my time in Italy. Low acidity and smooth with no sugar needed. Excellent to the last drop. 4/5 Clams have great flavor and wrapped in a foil. The sauce is slightly tangy with a strong hint of white wine and very flavorful. This was very delicious but unfortunately the clams were a bit sandy. They apologized and didn't charge us for it so I really appreciate that. margherita pizza (5/5) I added sausage and mushrooms to this pizza and it is absolutely delicious. The mushrooms were plump and juicy and the sausages were delicate, bouncy and meaty, flavorful and amazing to eat. The pizza itself is a masterpiece of perfectly baked crust, delicious cheese and tomato sauce. This pizza is hands down the best pizza I've had in Seattle so far! I did not have room for dessert but I'll definitely come back to try other items.

Came here for the first time to treat myself. Parking was easy and there was plenty. The service was excellent and I got to sit right at the bar and watch them make all the pizzas! I ordered the steamed clams with bread. It was so delicious and fresh! I had their Giovanni pizza and the toppings were definitely plenty. I'm not sure if I'm just used to the crust on the pizza or because of all the toppings, but some parts of it was mushy in texture. It was still really good. Just a texture thing. I ended my night with cannolis. Also their spicy olive oil is so good! I had to put it on everything! I'll definitely be back to try more!

I've seen this place for over a decade now but never gone in until last night. It's very homey and cute inside. I finally took the plunge to go because my friend said this place is better than Tutta Bella. We ordered the Vomero (prosciutto and arugula) and Enzo (rapini and sausage) (both 12 inch pizzas) and both had a delicious, non-soggy crust that was soft and well-baked. There was plenty of toppings on both pizzas, but I do wish there was a little more prosciutto on the Vomero. The sausage they used was delish and I never had rapini before but I ended up loving it. Pizzas came out FAST! It felt like under 5-10 minutes! One pizza should be enough for 1-2 people. I overhead that they can do split toppings on 1 pizza but it could only have 1 sauce. Total for 2 pizzas was about $46 after tax. I look forward to coming back and trying more! Service was fine but it did feel a little rushed. For instance, we were almost finishing up but I was still eating when we got asked if we wanted our leftovers boxed. Admittedly, it was getting pretty crowded so I understand if they wanted open tables. They boxed the leftovers for us which was nice. Only concern I had was that they seated us in a small table in the corner by the bar where the chili oil, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper were on this little shelf that also showed old pictures. The shelf and pictures were very dusty and every time my boyfriend grabbed the red pepper flake bottle I was afraid the dust would sprinkle onto the pizzas. Considering it was at eye level too, it wasn't great for the appetite. If any staff read this review please consider cleaning this shelf once in awhile!

We stayed almost next door to this place during our trip to Seattle, and this quickly became a favorite. Their pizzas are expertly made in a wood fire oven. I love their dough which is chewy and has a great flavor. The meatballs with marinara sauce were excellent. We came back several times during our visit.

A small little spot on Rainier Ave in between Seattle and Renton. Parking is small if the restaurant is packed so I highly suggest just street parking. It has some dining tables as well as a small bar area but it is most definitely cozy. I recommend making reservations if you have the opportunity to. The service was great; our waitress was super friendly and helped answer all our questions. Despite a packed house, she made sure to always check in on us and make sure we were okay. The wait for our food didn't take too long either. It was our first time here so we wanted to try a little of everything. The use a wood fire method to cook the pizza and it showed in the smokiness of each pizza. Our personal favorite pizza definitely had to be the Giovanni. You could taste the separation of flavors from the sauce and toppings but also taste how each piece complimented each other. The dough was on the softer side which was something we had to get used to but that didn't matter because the flavors were definitely there. While the other dishes we tried were also good, it wasn't something that screamed "come back for more" to me. Will definitely be back for the pizza. The desserts were so yummy that I didn't even get a chance to take a picture. The Cannoli is definitely the must try but make sure to order it early or ask before your meal to make sure they don't run out because they definitely do run out (we came back the next day to order some to-go since they ran out the night prior).

A delicious pesto calzone with the brick oven in the background . The atmosphere in here is wonderful!

We go there all the time! One of our favorite places for authentic Italian food. And with Peroni beer on tap..... the atmosphere is wonderful!

Cannelloni di Magro
Feven W.

I finally ordered something other than a pizza and a salad. I had the Cannelloni di Magro with a Caesar Salad. The Cannelloni was filled with a thick amount of cheese and spinach that was very flavorful. Delicious and tasty overall. This is a great place to dine in or get it to go.

We moved, came back, and came here our first night back in Renton. Did not disappoint. I LOVE the red pepper infused oil they leave in the table. Delicious! We tried the meatballs as an appetizer which were out of this world amazing! And we got our typical pizza. Always love this place.

One word -Sorprendente! Grazie for bringing Italy closer to our home! Amazing food, felt like we were in Italy and enjoying the atmosphere and the food. I started with Eggplant parmigiana which was a delicious eggplant with an amazing marinara sauce and cheese. We had the Mediterranean Pizza with chicken which was delicious, soft , thin crust with basil, olives and felt like we were back in Italy. For desserts, we had Spumoni which was a mix of chocolate, cherry and pistachio ice cream . The cherry was overpowering the rest of the flavors. The Cannoli was another masterpiece! What a delicious ricotta cheese filling. Super friendly staff and an Italian ambience!

Mussels
Yarn Y.

Ordered a margarita and the muscles to my hotel room The pizza arrived quite cold which was a bummer b/c I could see the ingredients are of high quality . The tomato sauce felt like it was made out of fresh tomatoes . 4/5 The mussels were also ok - the sauce could use some more thickness and some more garlic . 3.5/5 All together i enjoyed dinner and will order from them again (if I get the chance )

While I was seated for my table at 6, I overheard people trying to get a table as a walk in and wait times were a couple hours long. We had a reservation for 7:00 PM and specifically requested outdoor seating. We were only trying to be accommodating and make things easier for the staff. We were initially seated inside, but they eventually moved us outside because that was what they had available and what our reservation was originally for. At that point, the staff seemed noticeably upset with us for having sat inside. Our host then argued with us and said that we had requested to sit inside, which simply wasn't what happened. We never demanded or even preferred indoor seating. We preferred to sit outside from the beginning and only offered to sit inside if it helped because they seemed busy. It was frustrating to have our attempt to be flexible turned into an issue and then be argued with about what we had said.

The negative aspect of the experience that left a sour taste in my mouth despite the delicious food is the strange way we were rushed despite having made a reservation. I was actively eating a slice of pizza with another still on my plate when the server started cleaning up plates literally right around me. It was a very strange experience. For those short of time and live with no adventure I'll cut to the chase. The food is exquisite…read more For the rest, please read on. This last week while traveling for business to Seattle I had the pleasure of dining at Mezzanote. Their name of course implies it is an Italian restaurant but what you don't realize until you have sat and initiated your meal is that you, regardless of choice are embarking on a beautiful tribute to Northern Italian cuisine. At first arrival, the immediate impression is one of modest presentation but friendly and very inviting ambience. The staff, including our Server Marcus was attentive and had impeccable timing to read the table and flow of those joined in the meal. Check back was perfect and his service support was equally in tune with the other tables on the patio where we sat. Now this is what you have been waiting for... The food and I mean, we had almost one of every item on the menu and every dish was simply delicious. Tastes that were balanced and never overwhelming, but truly inspired dishes that your taste buds understand that the food was made with care and meant to satisfy even the toughest of pallets. Let's start with the house focaccia and ask for the disco sauce to dip your bread. It was a tummy satisfying start but then they dropped the focaccia regala and with the cheeses melted in a medley that left me thankful I was as they say "hungry as a hostage" because the meal had just begun. The next appetizer brought out was the Carote... This medley of carrots smoked with a Chile Honey Glaze left this BBQ born and raised Mexican wondering why ?? And then I had my first forkful and any doubt that I had about the chef creating something sacrilegious by smoking carrots left me, as the flavors were amazing. For a moment I forgot I was eating my vegetables.. where was this when I was a younger man. On to the main courses and the Reginette was first up. This Bolognese was a hearty blend of flavor and subtlety as it wasn't overly anything except satisfying. The Braciola Dia Miaale was a durock pork chop with a rhubar mostarda and salsify puree with asparagus that could not have been better. You didn't have to be a pork chop fan to enjoy this at all. Every dish that arrived was better than the one before. The Bucatini C'Anciuova, Prawns with Calabrian Chile, anchovies, tomatoe and orange zest was a delight and I don't normally eat anything overly spicy. This was a balance of heat with a twist of tang that the orange zest delivered flawlessly. Allow me to share that it is imperative you save room for dessert. Their tiramisu taste as if there is some Italian grandmother locked away in a pastry room kicking these out. They have other desserts to be sure, but this is the star of the show in my opinion. For those of you that are wine enthusiast, they did have a wine list that was impressive. All in all, for those that follow me, you know that it is a rarity for me to give any place I visit five stars from the first visit. Consistency is premium in my book. But as I mentioned to one of our fellow diners. This food is amazing, and the reality is each of these dishes could be served in a five-star venue layered with opulence and still the food would outshine the location. The only drawback was there was no Coke Zero... Damn it ...Turns out though that can be a pretty tough find in the city of Seattle in all the restaurants. For one that does not participate in alcohol or wine, my taste buds were not underserved and I survived without my Zero. This place is a go-to for any Italian yearning for authentic Italian food made with love. That's the only way I can describe just how good the food is. This isn't something that is prepared in volume for the masses. The chef and that team are simply serving with their hearts and it resonates with every bite. I'll be back, again and again. Oh and should you find yourself needing to go to the restroom. Ask for the Disco restroom.. that alone is worth the drive... Lol until next time Mezzanote! Thank you for a wonderful meal.
