The menu is quite small with three cold sandwiches and three hot ones, each inspired by a different region of the globe with the South Pacific, South America and Mediterranean as a few examples. There were two salads listed as well. I've been here twice and both times, when I went to place my order on the iPad, the menu stated they were out of stock for the sandwich that I wanted. However, when I asked the employee, she said that was not correct. So if you see the same message when ordering, it's worth asking about it! During my first visit, I ordered the RENDANG ($14). This hot sandwich came packed with SO much meat! Very tender chunks of marinated beef tasted of coconut, curry and warm spices. The flavor had true depth and I could actually taste hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Thin spears of pickled cucumber and carrot added crunch and a perfect zing of acidity. They were refreshing and cut through the rich beef. A drizzle of Sambal Terasi (chili) aioli gave it another layer of flavor. Cilantro, mint and Thai basil were all fresh and vibrant. The bread was lightly toasted, being a little crinkly in texture without being harsh against my gums. If I could change something, I would include a couple extra slices of the cucumber to balance out the ratio of vegetables to meat, and add a bit more of the aioli. Other than that, this is a great sandwich influenced by flavors of the South Pacific. My companion got the STEAK sandwich ($15) and enjoyed it. The steak slices were thinly cut and tender as well. They do their beef right! On another occasion, I tried the PROSCIUTTO ($14), one of their cold sandwiches. The delicate layers of prosciutto were placed on top of sliced tomatoes, pickled onion and arugula, all between pressed focaccia bread. Truffle mustard was spread on both pieces of bread, which was WAY too much in my opinion. With this mustard having a stronger flavor, it overpowered the sandwich and made it too tangy, especially in combination with the pickled onions. The menu stated this should include pistachios, but I didn't notice any, and they were all out of provolone, so there was also an absence of cheese. For the prices, these sandwiches are pretty generous in size, so I consider them a good deal, especially for the Bellevue area. The ingredients are fresh and make for a fantastic lunch option. While I wasn't a huge fan of the Prosciutto sandwich, I'd definitely go back again for another Rendang!

Wing size were large, but it seemed slightly overcooked, chicken inside the was a little dry, exterior was on the crunchy side and wasn't very flavorful. On a whim we got the pretzel and it was large and buttery, warm and soft, the perfect pretzel. We split 2 main dishes, the North Shore Shrimp and Japchae with Bulgogi. The North Shore Shrimp was good, very garlicky in a good way, the Mac Salad was delicious too. The Japchae was also tasty, although I wish there was more noodles, it was plentiful of the bulgogi and veggies, but more noodles would have balanced it out more. Portion sizes were on the small side, so sharing between 3 adults was the perfect portion. There was a changing table in the bathroom which is always good to know if you have little ones. As we were leaving they were starting karaoke, I don't live close to Mercer Island, but this seems like a fun spot if I did live closer. And unlike the downtown Bellevue location, this spot is in a large business strip, with plenty of parking off of Factoria Boulevard. I visited this Evergreen's as I needed to get takeout/dinner and was in the area. I enjoy the salads and protein bowls here, so decided to get my usual Mediterranean bowl with double chicken for that extra protein on a Saturday night. When I usually go to the downtown Bellevue location, there's always a line, but this was not the case during my visit here. There was only two other people inside, so I was able to get my food quickly. Staff was friendly and happy to assist with my requests to customize my bowl. The food was solid with all the favorite toppings and goods, and they had some snack items and drinks, including local kombucha, which I'm a fan of. There's also plenty of seating inside for dining in, which I imagine gets busy during the lunch hour for all the businesses around the area. Glad there's another option to get Evergreen's in the city I live in.

We got seated, but there was no wait time. We chose outdoor seating because the weather was nice. For drinks, we ordered a raspberry Italian soda and a sprite. The sprite tasted watered down, and had no flavor. The raspberry Italian soda was delicious though! When our server took our order, i believe he took the order wrong. We asked for a pepperoni puntura, and from the looks and tastes it was a simple pepperoni pizza. This was disappointing because we always get pepperoni puntura and were fondly looking forward to that pizza. If I really wanted a simple pepperoni pizza then I would have bought dominos. It was missing the honey and the cheese they add on top, which is why I'm saying that they gave us a pepperoni pizza. For the price you would think the service would be immaculate but from the visit, clearly they don't pay attention to the customers. The Margherita pizza was delicious and would definitely order again! No complaints for that. The restaurant was full of people and had a good ambiance. However, we were never checked up in during our visit until we pointed it out. All together, I would not recommend this location but the Ravenna location has been my favorite spot of mioposto.

The soup had lots of seafood - scallops, mussels, shrimp (bay), and squid and they allow you to customize the spice level. The combination tofu soup and spicy pork was good. Portion wise my mom and I had the combo + a seafood pancake and had leftovers for a small lunch for one person. Total was 70 something after tip. The seafood pancake I get why some folks had problems with it. It's different in texture than other places. I found it had a good crunch and had a good batter to seafood ratio; it's just not what you expect but I still found it tasty.
