Tiramisu
Maxine L.

Came in for restaurant week for a weekday dinner. The place was pretty packed, but we were able to get a seat pretty immediately. My friend and I ordered the restaurant week menu which was a pretty good deal. With Caesar salad, any two pizzas, and tiramisu. Caesar salad was very saucy and the sauce was quite tart and lemony. I enjoyed it but I could see it being too tart for some. For pizza, we ordered the seasonal La contadina and La Calabria. The contadina was savory, I liked the bits of garlic and sausage. I did think it was missing just one thing for an extra flavor dimension but it was yummy regardless. The calabria had this subtle sweetness from the honey that was so addicting. The crusts of the pizza were perfectly chewy too. There were some burnt spots which I avoided, but overall really good. And then the tiramisu. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do enjoy a tiramisu. This one however was super soaked in coffee and 0 rum. But the punchy amount of coffee flavor was balanced out pretty well with the cream. Service throughout our meal wasn't bad. I ordered a glass of wine, but I wasn't told they didn't serve glasses for the wine until ~15 min later. And when I reordered a different glass, I had to wait an additional ~10 mins. So I didn't get my glass until I had the pizza sitting in front of me. Overall, the food is pretty solid. Very interesting pizzas and the restaurant week gave a pretty good deal.

We came here for happy hour and the staff was really friendly. We enjoyed our pizzas and appetizers. The flatbread was surprisingly big. This place has a great ambiance at night, although can be noisy. Will come back when we're craving pizza!

We came in a hot day, so eating outside was very nice! Inside was cool with AC. The service was fantastic!!! I really liked food portions. Small pizzas and perfect salad sizes. The clams were yum! Kids menus available!

Came here to see a friend for happy hour/dinner. We started off with some whiskey drinks which came with bourbon soaked cherries. We had the Manila clam appetizer and it was delicious! It came with bread and the broth was amazing. I also ordered meatballs-the appetizer version which came with 3 meatballs. The dinner portion comes with 5 meatballs. It was so delicious and tender. I'll definitely be back again!

I recently dined at this local Italian restaurant on Mercer Island, and while the food was quite good, the slow service definitely put a damper on the experience. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Even after ordering drinks and appetizers, it felt like we were left waiting too long between courses. The staff was friendly and apologetic, but the slow pace definitely impacted our overall enjoyment. No pasta options which was unusual and also a little disappointing. If you're not in a rush and craving some good Italian food, this place could be worth a visit. Just be prepared for a leisurely meal and some waiting time! try the pizza though, it was really good.

It's been a while since I've been here. You cannot beat the happy hour! You can't eat the wood burning oven turning out delicious pizza. Excellent service and great vibes. Yummy. Happy things haven't changed here. Worth it. Didn't take photos but, this the scoop. Everything off the Happy Hour menu. Had the arugula prosciutto pizza, no photo, sorry. Delicious thin crust with not too much sauce. Appetizers, fried chicken peas, and bread with olive oil. Delicious. Dining partner had the beet salad and flatbread from, yes, Happy Hour menu. So much food and leftovers to boot. Yasssss! The restaurant filled up as the happy hour was on its last hour. Bam. Do it. Come here. And per usual, SYOY!

The food was good, but the service from our waiter was terrible--he was rude, seemed like he didn't care, and had an attitude the whole time, which ruined the experience.

Had such a great experience at Mioposto for their Valentine's Day special! My kids were thrilled with their heart-shaped pizza, which was both adorable and delicious. They also had some Italian sodas, which were a huge hit super refreshing and flavorful. I ordered the lasagna, and it was fantastic--rich, comforting, and perfectly baked. But the real surprise was the beer salad that came with it--I absolutely loved it! Such a great balance of flavors and a perfect complement to the meal. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Even on a busy Valentine's Day evening, the staff took the time to engage with my kids and make them feel welcome, which I really appreciated. It's always nice to find a place that makes dining out with kids such a great experience. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend for great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

We were there for a large dinner gathering of 10, and the most impressive part was that all of our meals were served at the same time. Something that's not always easy for restaurants, especially when they're full and they have a large party where folks are ordering all sorts of different things from multiple pizzas to pastas to salads... I ordered the lamb shank which was delicious. The meat was tender, had good flavor, sodium level was balanced, which doesn't always happen with lamb shank that's served with a broth. Pogacha served this over penelne pasta, which was fine and it's one of their signature dishes, I also think it would be really nice also over polenta. My only wish was that there were more vegetables in the broth. Because seasonal vegetables were listed on the menu item, I anticipated there'd be more in the broth than there were. I'd also recommend Pogacha updates the photo on their website, because this is shown over a very different pasta with vegetables over it and less broth. Oh and, I love that Pogacha still serves fresh warm bread right when you sit down. So tasty and such a nice touch. We'll definitely be back soon.

The pasta was clearly homemade and had a satisfying bite. They do add a 4% "kitchen contribution" tax. Honestly, I would have rated this spot 5 stars, but I consulted my friends who rated it a 4. Very family friendly spot, as there were a lot of families. Located in a plaza in Mercer Island.

We shared a pizza and ordered two pasta dishes, and they even let us order a full bottle of wine instead of just a glass. The pizza dough itself have very strong firewood aroma, which is lovely. We ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese, and the unique, wide pasta truly set it apart from what you typically find at other restaurants. Since we were still hungry, we also tried the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, which came with spicy sausage. While I expected more of a vodka flavor, the bold kick of the spicy sausage made it intriguingly flavorful. We couldn't resist today's special dessert, the Panna Cotta. It had a distinctive gelatinous texture and even looked cute as it jiggled on the plate. This cozy spot is perfect for a date or a girls' night out--ideal for sharing a bottle of wine and enjoying the authentic Italian ambiance.

Moto Pizza, the rightfully growing pizza empire of Chef and owner Lee Kindell (one of the kindest,…read moremost friendly, sincere, and energetic people you will ever meet), expanded to the Eastside with this location in late 2024. The empire continues to grow, with a new store in Bellingham just opened (October 2025), and Pioneer Square and San Diego, CA locations in the works. This location is on the first floor of the Bellevue Square mall, just outside the Beauty Haven (Cosmetics/Beauty) department (NOT the shoe department) of Nordstrom. The location has the same bright color scheme that is trademark Moto, but it's also sleeker and a bit more modern industrial in design, in keeping with the upscale mall location. The team's tasty, delicious "Odd Pizza" creations (there are "normal" flavors too) are the same. Top quality from top quality ingredients and attention to detail, with a dash of love and fun. This is Detroit-style pizza, with a thicker crust, rectangular or square shapes, and a crusty cheese crust. Mr. Pig is a go-to winner, featuring amazing and satisyingly delicious Filipino flavors. The new Shrimp is a spicy, sweet, and delicious nod to the sea that also puts to rest the tired "pineapple does not belong on a pizza" nonsense. And Beef Adobo is a beef lover's paradise (does kimchi belong on a pizza? Hell yes!). Every flavor on the menu is good, so choosing may be difficult. But you can do it! So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

My mom talked to the person at the register and she said that the order only had that one pizza, despite the total order being over 100 dollars (one medium sized pizza is around 40$ with tax). She pulled up the receipt but the person at the register stood firm on the fact that's all the order said. So in the end we had to pay 20 extra dollars for my 9 inch pizza, no refund, no discount, and no sympathy from the lady there. Even worse when I opened up my pizza I found it was burnt at the edges and bottom which sucked after everything that happened. We've been to Zeeks several times in the past year and have had no issue with the online ordering system, the staff though had been noticeably less caring after each visit, especially during this one where she kept looking at us like we were a nuisance for wanting our full order. In the end I just genuinely hope that either their website is fixed (if that is the issue) and the staff do not cause any similar issues to other customers. If you order in person there should be no problem, but online orders should be wary.
