After our visit to the Bellevue botanical Park, we were quite hungry and so we headed to our next destination the Bellevue Park. We were able to find free parking. My nephew was with us and so he said he wanted pizza. So my brother-in-law found Pagliacci pizza about a few blocks away. Upon arriving, the restaurant was already busy. Walking over to the counter, they had a few slices that you could choose from. They looked really good. However, my older sister decided to order two whole pizzas. The counter person was really helpful and my sister decided on one plain cheese and pepperoni pizza and the second was a sausage mushroom pizza. We didn't order any other drinks since we were still thirsty from our walk around the botanical park but the total for the two pizzas came out to $50. That's kind of pricey. We were able to find a nice family sized round table. We were able to get a few cups and got some waters and the usual time for our pizzas to be delivered to our table. I can understand why this restaurant is busy as the pizzas were really good. We waiting for our pizzas and more families sat down and ordered pizzas while others walked in. Got a slice or came in to pick up their phone orders. Even a police officer was patiently waiting for his order to be ready. I would recommend this place and would frequent this restaurant if I lived in Bellevue. read more

This is my favorite pizza place! Specifically this location. It's so easy and affordable for downtown Bellevue. It's the only pizza out there (besides Sourdough Willy's in Kingston) that I love the flavor of the crust of the pizza. I highly recommend the Burrata Soppressata and the PSR. Both are incredible. Also recommend if you are by yourself to just come in and grab a couple slices, they are big and 2 fill me up! I love me a Pagliacci chopped salad. It's always fresh and the taste is consistent. It is a little pricey but worth it. A slice of pizza will run you $5 which isn't too bad. I personally enjoy that they use fresh pineapple on their Hawaiian so I will go for that if I don't get a salad. Also, I love that they don't punish you for wanting water since they automatically leave water cups out. The water comes out from the machine so cold and refreshing. It's the small things! read more

The pizza is good but if you come in to order it takes forever to go orders. Please do yourself a favor and order online. If you eat there the wait is also not as bad. But don't go in and order to go. I'm not sure why that is but I think they have specific people doing things and that must slow down the line for to go orders. Please fix this! Every time I come to Bellevue, we order Pagliacci Pizzas delivery. I especially LOVE the prosciutto chanterelles pizza!! Available in the fall when chanterelles are abundant in the northwest, it is quite a treat for me since chanterelles cost 45 dollars a pound in San Francisco / Bay Area. ( available when in season at Bryan's market in SF, and the Organic Natural Market in Castro Valley ). But in Bellevue, they cost around 20 dollars a pound ( or less sometimes when on sale ) at PPC market and at Whole Foods in Bellevue. PPC would sell them by the pound and you can handpick them. Whole Foods sell them by the basket. But enough about the chanterelles. Pagliacci also has pizza with figs and salami I think, I forgot the meat but I just love the figs on them. They have many other combination according to seasons. We ordered with a Ceasar salad and some seasonal pint of ice cream, you can order with cans of sodas or martinelli's apple juice in those cute round bottles. Secondly, my family and I love their pizzas! Maybe others don't know what to order? We always rotate between the Parma Primo, AGOG Primo, and Margherita pizzas and they never disappoint! What a fantastic discovery! This place has its own parking lot, a rarity that deserves major kudos! As you step inside, you're warmly greeted with bright smiles and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pizza. But the true pièce de résistance is the mouthwatering pizza that will leave you craving more. I ordered a 11" AGOG pizza from the Bellevue Pagliacci location. This was a rare treat for me, especially with how expensive they are. I was super hungry and so looking forward to having a slice or two, and taking the rest home. This pizza normally comes with a good amount of roasted garlic, which is the main attraction for me. I actually asked the person that took my order to please go generous on the garlic. When the wait staff brought it to the table, they just dropped it off and left really quickly. As I looked at, it barely had any garlic on it at all. Huge dissapointment. I ate some slices anyway, as i had barely eaten all day and did not have time for them to remake. Totally unsatisfied and a waste of money. I left the rest of the pizza there. Won't be doing that again anytime soon. read more

Pizza is fresh and super good. We ordered pineapple and pepperoni and I really liked it but husband said it could've used more sauce. I'm not a pizza sauce girly anyways so it was perfect for me. Pagliacci is very standard but still good. I'm from New York and nothing will compare to New York pizza but this still scratches my itch. There's more than enough parking at this venue in a very populated area of Bellevue which is nice considering parking can be nuts around here otherwise. Every day they have different specials but you can order whole pies with whatever you want. I recommend getting whatever slices they have on stand-by since if you get a custom pie, it just feels way too expensive compared to the slices. The cheese is flavorful and the ingredients are fresh. If you order by slice from the counter, they pop it in the oven to heat it up for you before serving. Original Cheese: I do really like how crispy the crust is and how warm it came out of the oven. The cheese was warm and gooey which was lovely. However, there is way too much crust in relation to cheese/sauce. I could taste mostly crust, and very little of the cheese/sauce itself. TLDR/ Price: Exorbitantly High, Service: Middling, Cleanliness: Subpar, Verdict: Probably not worth it. I ordered two slices to eat in before I got there and then made my choices for our larger order based on the flavors of those two. We ended up ordering 4 pies to go. Verde primo, Grand salami primo, Pesto primo, and Seasonal Rosemary-Potato-Chicken. Overall, the flavors were on point, and the service was okay. Not bad, not great. The staff was not as friendly or as helpful as at basically any other pizza chain I have been to. Even after I shared my love of their brand and the nostalgic memories I had at a different location, the warmth and joviality that you hope to find at a pizza parlor just wasn't there. The gender neutral restrooms were not as clean as they could have been, but the fun Italian movie posters were a nice reminder of the artistic flair of other locations that this one only hints at. Aesthetically speaking, the pizzas looked a little sad, not what you would expect for almost 40 dollars a piece. At previous visits to other locations the higher per slice price tag was worthwhile because the pieces were very large; nope, not this time. My vegetable slice almost looked like a medium piece. If you are looking for quality, for exotic decor, for that quirky movie vibe, for flavorful and beautiful pizza...look elsewhere. I won't be going back to this location and if this is where the rest of the chain is headed, then they won't be a Seattle/Bellevue staple for long. It honestly makes me wish I had just gone to the Seattle location, even though it was way out of my way. This might be ok for to-go ordering, as they did check to make sure my pizzas were correct, but parking, uncomfortable- seating, and the overall annoyed vibe from the staff made eating in seriously terrible. Overall, pretty good spot! Sauce was on point, not "metallic" or acidic tasting, nice and savory and a twinge of sweetness. Cheese was good, not overpowering. The crust was crisp and has great texture. Ratio of the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni was good. Two of the main downsides were the thickness of the crust. It's a liiittle too thick under the sauce and cheese, making most bites a little doughy. If it was just a little thinner, it would be super solid. The other thing is that the pepperonis were just ok. Nothing that special, kind of tasted plain. Perhaps just a little bit longer re-heating it in the oven would have crisped it up for some added texture, but taste was a bit plain. We wanted a lighter lunch so decided to stop by this pizza place! The free parking lot had plenty of spots when we went around 2 pm, though the restaurant itself was quite crowded. It's a pizza by the slice place, and each slice is $4-6. Our slices were quickly warmed up by the cashier, and our 4 slices came out to ~$20. There are a few tables outside where we opted to eat because it was a nice day, and the pizzeria was well stocked with cheese and red peppers to add for flavor. The asparagus and prosciutto pizza was made well but wasn't to my personal taste, but the cheese pizza was great, really flavorful sauce! I just wish it had been heated just a bit hotter. They recently moved their downtown Bellevue location from the Old Bellevue area closer to me which was perfect. I called at 9:30pm and was able to pick up my order at 10pm. I ordered half south philly and half spicy chicken on a 13" medium pizza ($21). The south philly was pretty cheesy and I liked the sausage and onions. There weren't many mushrooms and the toppings in general were lacking. One slice had only one piece of meat and another only had one mushroom. The chicken on the spicy chicken wasn't spicy but the pepper is what gives it that kick. Overall both were good although I preferred the spicy chicken a bit more as it had more flavor. If you were wondering, I ate the whole pizza. As a second dinner. I have never felt so satisfied and disgusting in my life but I have no regrets. read more

I live so close to this that I didn't think anything of it when it showed up in the middle of quarantine lockdown. I had never heard of the well known name in Seattle, but started to gain interest when the parking lots were full every single night, and people were in a huge (relative to COVID standards) line of people waiting outside for pizza. They didn't have any options for slices of their already-made pizzas, which was a bummer coming from an avid Sizzle Pie visitor and Portland native. However, you could order their 1 or 2 veggie pizzas, and customize it with a vegan cheese. Now, I'm as skeptical as anyone about vegan cheese, and I've been vegan for 6 years. Some places just DON'T do it right. This one wasn't so bad! I don't get everyones fascination with pagliacci. I lived near the one in columbia city for years and always thought it was "meh". The crust isn't thin enough and the texture was off in my opinion. My dad tried this place out after a friend from New Jersey suggested it to him. If he had told me where he was going I would have declined and had him pick up something better like dim sum on his way home from Bellevue today. Oh well. Lesson learned for my family. If you like low quality pizza from the places above I mentioned, I am sure you will love this place as it is better - but it's a far cry from NY style pizza.
