Yoooooooooooo!!! Ive driven past Can Am maybe 200x. Never once gave it a thought to try, the exterior is nothing to be impressed about, and the name itself didn't scream "you gotta try our pizza." Boy, another example of never judge a book by its cover. We had a World Cup Soccer viewing event at work and my friends said lets order pizza. What an outstanding idea! Then they said Can Am, and I'm like who, what, where?!?!?! But I trusted them nonetheless. NOW, the main reason why there are subpar reviews is primarily the woman who is presumably the owner that everyone talks about. She has not care for customer service, told by my friends and the reviews. For me, yes, service certainly matter, but product quality reigns supreme always. Now of course if the customer service or lack there of is extreme, then yes, I would have no interest in giving my business to such an establishment. SO, my one and only time here so far, I did not experience that lack of customer service, but there certainly was a smidget of a hint of a grumpy old lady, but it never truly came to fruition. Score! *******Disclaimer*******this high star review could change upon the next experience, lol. The product, the Pizza though was DELICIOUS. Had me thinking about it for the next few days. So good! We recalled the pizza being good during to Covid days in 2020, so we decided to check out Can Am again given we are now back in the area. It was very sad for a couple of reasons. The inside is basically still unchanged from COVID, plastic screens up, areas used for storage of pizza boxes and soda....not inviting to sit and dine in. So this place is really only for take-out. Second, the pizzas we ordered were SO skimpy with the toppings. At one point my daughter asked if there was supposed to be meat on the Canadian Bacon and pineapple since there was so little ham to be found! The toppings always taste fresh, and I love how saucy the pizzas are without the bottom getting soggy. The first time my family and I grabbed pizza from here, we ate it hot right in the parking lot and literally finished the whole box in one sitting (no shame haha). On my second visit, we decided to dine in, and we also tried their garlic sauce calzone to mix it up and try other menu items. Everything came out piping hot, which was perfect. Plus, they have plenty of parking outside. One thing to note: if you want to pay by card, there's a minimum spend, but it's totally worth it for the awesome food. I have been eating their pizzas for ten years now and the karahi chicken pizza and the karahi paneer pizza are my favorites. They are spicy, tasty and will clean your colon.
