I was in Redmond to see a specialist and when that was over decided to have lunch at Blu Sardinia. I arrived a little before noon and found I had the restaurant to myself! I felt like a VIP of VIPs! I was met by a member of the staff and shown to a table. The staff member took my drink order (a drink named Amoxicillin) and I asked for Pane Rustica, but was told that only the head chef knew how to make the flatbreads and he wouldn't be in for another hour. . Oh well. I then placed my order for my main course. I chose the Parmigiana Di Pollo. Oh my! This had to be the absolute BEST chicken parm I've ever had! The angel hair pasta was great! The pasta sauce was excellent! And the chicken parm was exceptional! I've never had chicken parm that was crunchy AND tender AND moist! So good! When I was all done, or so I thought, the server asked if I was interested in dessert. I said Yes, Please! And looked at the dessert menu. I ended choosing the Tiramisu and was amazed yet again! There were so many flavors! After I finished my most excellent meal, and was relaxing, I finally realized that the background music was so fitting. It was the cliched Italian restaurant music. There were selections including Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Connie Francis, and Angelo Fabiani. The interior was furnished very elegantly, and the staff was very pleasant and eager to help. I am very fortunate that I got the chance to experience Blu Sardinia.

    Bruschetta nice decor; but burnt

The interior is nice. The staff was polite. The Prosciutto And Fig pizza was really tasty. The same goes for RAVIOLI AL QUATTRO FORMAGGI pasta. The plates are nice. I wish the menu had pictures. However, please DO NOT order Bruschetta bread. It was burnt. Now you know why I gave it 3*.

Lamb Shanks was a bit tough, but it was flavorful.

Ambiance - 3.5/5. It's a nice Italian food restaurant with a bar. This restaurant would do well if this was in Kirkland! Service - 4/5. Our server was very nice. Food 3.5/5. The flavor of lamb shank was good, but the meat was a little too tough. Pesto Bucatini was cooked perfectly but the sauce needed a bit more creaminess to wraps around the bucatini. The shrimp was very flavorful though. Chicken parmesan was crisp outside and moist inside. The pasta that comes with it was pretty good too, but it lacks a tiny bit of garlic or cheese. Everything was not hot enough by the time it got to the table. If they can improve on that, we thought this restaurant would do better. Overall the experience was great and we'd definitely come back here again.

Was here for a girls night out with 18 others. We were a big group and occupied two big tables in the dining area. We got there at 5pm, hoping to start off with the happy hour menu but were told happy hour is only in the bar area. Given the group size, they could have been accommodating. Kind of bummed about that. Anyways, on to the good stuff. Interesting cocktails. I got the purple bee. Looked pretty and boy, was it strong! Loved it. Ordered the pane rustica & aglio olio. They kind of forgot the pane rustica and brought it at the end when I reminded them about it. Happens when you are in a big group. Food was excellent. Wood fired flat bread with whole roasted garlic and goat cheese was delicious. And the pasta was very good too. Everyone loved their food and drinks. It's a great place for date nights. Though it's in a strip mall, when you walk in, you are immediately transported to a very chic, upscalish place. So dress up! Or keep it casual and get the best happy hour deal at the bar!

Ordered pork and mushroom bucatini pasta and Pizza, for dessert we had their ice cream ( coconut, pistachios, and chocolate) and tiramisu. The ambiance had some live jazz nusic and even a tap dancer/flamenco? Anyway, it was a great experience. We didn't have a reservation but was seated promptly. The food was soooo good! I mean I love the pizza and the pasta had so much protein. The tiramisu was good and didn'ttaste too much of the coffee which is nice for me since I like more milder coffee taste. The pistachio ice cream though i love ! The staff was super nice and very attentive. Overall experience was awesome and definitely would love to go back and try other things. The staff did recommend to get their sorbet of the day if they have it, we didn't manage to do so. But that day they had mango.

We wanted to find a restaurant that' would allow our puppy on the patio & had good food so we stopped here. As soon as you walk in you see their impressive wood fired oven- just beautiful. It was a Tuesday at 1:00 ish & there was no one on their nice patio which worked great! Kevin greeted us & took great care of us. We started with ice teas & the flat bread with roasted garlic & goat cheese- really delicious- we should have asked for more goat cheese lol. My husband & I each got the Caesar salad- I added prawns & he added chicken- both were really good- not enough dressing for my husband's liking- but again, we should have asked for more. I pretty much never like the croutons on salad but these were really good & the prawns were juicy & flavorful. My mom ordered the Margherita pizza- amazing! Lots of mozzarella & basil & the crust cooked perfectly in their pizza oven.

Wow! What a delightful and delicious local Italian restaurant. I've lived in this area for many years and visited developer take them all many times but cannot believe I've never stopped in. Finally came here last weekend with my family We had a wonderful dinner. The service was prompt and very friendly and the food was also delicious. Eerything we ordered was great. For appy's we had grilled octopus calamari and fried brussel sprouts. Did brussel sprouts had fried pancetta and then goat cheese tossed on top of it, and the grilled octopus came with some really good sauce. We also ordered the Sardinia cracker focaccia bread and olive oil for our bread plate. Remains we got the rack of lamb special, the scallop papperadel special, mushroom risotto with added scallops, and then yoki with Italian sausage. We all really loved our dishes. For dessert we spill it in order of the zeppoli. We will definitely come back as every dish was spot on perfect. As we left we saw some people ordering very ordinary things like a Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. Do yourself a favor and do not do that. Get their pasta and other dishes... You'll be very happy.

Recommend this place. Recommend seafood penne pasta and it was amazing! I wish the portion were a little bigger. I was very impressed with the kids menu and highly recommend the grilled chicken and veggies. The service was great too. Servers were patient and helpful!

Wow! What a gem to find while I was in Redmond, WA! I ordered some gnocchi to go and they happily accommodated my vegetarian request. Thank you. I also ordered for pick up tight at opening and they graciously accommodated that as well. This place is lovely and the staff was very friendly. Now let's talk about the food. The ricotta gnocchi were spectacular little pillows of wonder. Both sauces were amazing and sadly we ate them before even getting a pic. They were that good. I did get a pic of dessert though. I cannot wait to return.

Waiters usually ask once how you're doing, but Erich is great at checking in at key points throughout the meal. I can tell that he's a lovely person overall and a gentleman. Von's is very lucky to have him! The food is really great too. Pizza in general no matter where it's from is a treat, but the sourdough pizza here takes the cake (pizza?). Knowing that it's sourdough really elevates the experience. We also had the sourdough pasta. Every menu option sounded enticing, and we knew whatever we ordered was going to be good.

A big part of that was Dave, our attentive, friendly, and quietly confident waiter who made the whole experience feel like we were being welcomed into someone's home. Dave explained that everything at Von's is made from scratch, and he talked about the menu the way a good tour guide talks about a city: with enthusiasm, insider knowledge, and just enough charm to make you trust every recommendation. He steered us toward an appetizer of clams in tomato sauce. For the main course, he suggested the pasta with salmon. Both were excellent. Throughout the meal, Dave checked in at just the right moments--never hovering, never disappearing, always making sure we had what we needed. The kind of service that makes you feel taken care of without ever feeling managed. All in all, a terrific first visit, made even better by someone who clearly takes pride in the place. We'll be asking for Dave next time.

Service was immediate the moment we walked in, which was impressive given how busy it was. We came back specifically for the Big Dumper pizza, which we loved on a previous visit, and it absolutely held up. The crust is excellent, the toppings are generous, and everything just works together. This time we also added a dinner salad with blue cheese, which was surprisingly good--fresh, well-balanced, and a nice complement to the pizza. The atmosphere was buzzing, the place was packed, and the servers were clearly hustling to keep up with the demand. Even with the crowd, everything ran smoothly. A fun, dependable spot with great pizza, good drinks, and an energetic neighborhood feel. Definitely a go-to when you're in Woodinville.

We were walking over…read morefrom Mark Ryan after a tasting - and got a call from the resturant verifying we were still coming, saying they had a long wait list, at 5 minutes after the reservation start time, which I found odd, but OK. I can see trying to manage a wait list and they were pleasant enough. We picked up the pace! We arrived 8 minutes after the hour, and were seated quickly. I saw then why they called us, as they had nearly half the place locked up for reserved seating. Tight seating, for sure, but we were seated quickly. But what was bizarre is that even by the time we left, several of those tables still sat empty, listed as reserved, and no one ever came in. So I am not sure if they had a big group ghost them, or it was just poor time management / reservation planning, but I digress. We started with a round of cocktails and bunch of water to catch up from the tasting prior. Tasty drinks, all served quickly, in basic rustic barwear. Don't think I have ever had a martini served in a rocks glass - but it was kind of the vibe so we rolled with it. We got a sampling of apps as well - the simple rustic foccacia bread (OMG so good) and calamari and burrata hit the SPOT! Then dinner all around. Three pizzas and a pasta: The Rugola - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, arugula, prosciutto di Parma, shaved parmesan. Probably the best of the bunch. Delicous crust with nice crunch and a soft chewy center The Capricciosa - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, artichoke hearts, sausage. Same delcious crust, but a little weighed down by the artichokes and ham making the overall flavor less balanced. The Brie E Fichi - Mozzarella, brie, fig jam, prosciutto. This COULD have been the real winner, but the crust was over done. Instead of leopard spotting on the bottom, it was mostly char, making the crust hard and crunchy, not soft and chewy. And my friend had the house special short rib ragut that was was good EXCEPT in portion size. Much smaller than would be expected and to be honest, the flavor were a bit muted. But that could have been a result of the fact that the pizzas all exploded with flavor in comparison. No dessert for this group - as we were fully cooked by the end. Overall a worthy visit and some great meals!

Even with a reservation, we did have to wait a bit, but it was Valentine's Day, so totally understandable given how busy Italian spots get. Parking was pretty convenient with spaces both in front and behind the restaurant, and if those are full, it's close to the Totem Lake area so there are other options nearby. The ambiance was definitely unique--lots of mannequins, motorcycles, and a sort of roadshow vibe. It felt fun, a little quirky, and different from your typical Italian restaurant. Service was good overall, especially considering how busy it was. Our server was attentive enough and kept things moving smoothly. We started with bread and butter--nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The garlic herb compound butter oddly felt nostalgic and reminded me of childhood. For appetizers, we got the meatballs, which were hearty and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the seafood pasta in a wine cream sauce and really enjoyed it. There was a good amount of seafood--not super crab-heavy, but enough to get a few nice bites--and the sauce itself was light and well-balanced. My husband ordered the chicken parm, which he said was good but leaned a bit on the bland side. Overall, it feels like a solid neighborhood Italian spot. Definitely a place we'd come back to when we're in the area.

Noon Café is a casual family diner offering traditional grilled kababs (aka kebab), appetizers, sandwiches, and pizzas - all Persian/Iranian style. Be sure to ask questions if the dish names are unfamiliar. The Food: Soltani, $32.99 - 4 Stars Soltani includes one skewer of Koobideh (ground beef) and one skew of Barg (flank steak). Both are well-seasoned with excellent flavor. We ordered the flank steak medium rare, but it was medium with no pink inside. The steak was tolerable, not as tender as it could have be. This dish was served with rice per the menu. After I saw another table has their kabab served with a bread, I asked the server. She said other than rice, there is a choice of Persian bread (flat bread with sesame) and salad. Curious that wasn't in the menu nor did she say it. Not a dealbreaker. Her reply did raise my eyebrow. Zaboon, $16.99 - 3 Stars Menu: Veal tongue, simmered and fried, tomato, pickles, parsley Based on the description, the texture completely threw me off. The meat is mushy to the point of spreadable. The flavor is light with minimum seasoning. I applied hot sauce liberally to the sandwich. Portion size is large. I ate only half. Fries, $6.99 - 3 Stars Menu: Golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside Some pieces aren't crispy enough. Some pieces are too thick such that the inside has the potato gritty texture. The sauce is a house-created flavor. We like the sauce more than we like the fries. The food is closer to 3.5 Stars. I like the family vibe and am rounding up to 4 Stars for the overall rating.
