Special appetizer.
Sameer K.

The place is somewhat upscale. The reason for adding "somewhat" is because it is a bit dense and noisy. Interior is good. Their special appetizer was tasty and the same goes for Penne Paradiso and Lasagna. The server and other staff was straight faced. No smiles. Not saying thanks for coming here.

On a very busy street with tons of other restaurants, Ristorante Paradiso is thriving. The service is great. We were seated right away. The wine list has a good selection and my husband tried a glass of the super Tuscan. There are so many good choices on the menu. It is hard to choose just one dish. I started with a small Mista Salad. It had fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, salad greens with a white balsamic dressing. My husband had a true Caesar salad that had old fashioned raw eggs. For a second course, I had the linguine tutte mare. It was a huge portion of pasta with clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari. There is a choice of sauces and I chose white. It was very good. My husband had the salmone picatta. He opted to have the penne instead of vegetables. He ate every morsel. The portions are large. So we decided to have tea and coffee. He ordered espresso. Although it came without the lemon, he said it was very good. I had chamomile tea. It was a very enjoyable meal. The huge down side is the parking. But once we found a spot, it was worth the trip. It is a small place, so I recommend reservations. But it is cozy without feeling crowded.

EVERYTHING in this place is amazing! The staff, the drinks, the appetizers, the bread, the FOOD, and the desserts!!!! OMG! There are not enough stars! We had an amazing dinner! My husband had the rack of lamb and I had a chicken dish that I cannot pronounce, but was amazing! Chicken, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes over roasted vegetables! Just layer after layer of flavor! We will return!!!

Not sure - it's a vegetarian dish that one of the boys had and he demolished it. Gone in seconds.

What a treat! We had a dinner of moms and sons at Paradiso and it was a dream! Private area off to the side made it a really intimate area, but the tables outside looked lovely too. Appetizers were phenomenal - calamari, bruschetta, and beet salad were so good. Dinners were devoured - swordfish special was amazing, I loved my angel hair pomodoro with chicken, and there were a lot of smiles and happy "oh my god this is SO GOOD!" comments! Our server was adorable and super attentive and the whole evening was a great experience. I'll be back!!

We came here for our daughter's birthday celebration in October. I was disappointed with our table location (right next to the kitchen) as I had noted birthday on our reservation. However, my daughter had arrived first and already settled in so we didn't ask to move. We ordered drinks and sipped a bit. Usually bread and butter come immediately after ordering drinks , if not earlier. After a bit, as we were all starving and their bread is FAMOUSLY FANTASTIC we had to ask for. It did not disappoint. Drinks were great, extra large martini glasses; wish they would offer hand-stuffed cheese olives (blue, Gorgonzola, etc.), so simple to make a limited number each evening during prep and such a classy thing to do (I'd even pay $1 or 2 for them as add ons, depending on how many I get. Caesar salad was fantastic!Entrees: #1- Penne Paradiso (a succulent marriage of perfectly cooked penne, artichokes & a pink sauce) with added grilled chicken (a little dry and rather tasteless) #2. Pollo Limone (a thin and tangy white wine lemon sauce that encompasses two pounded thin chicken pieces over linguine). We added tableside freshly shredded Parmesan, however had to request as it wasn't offered as in past times. Surprisingly this chicken tasted more flavorful and was perfectly cooked. Birthday dessert- a smaller portion of their blissful tiramisu (my absolute favorite of all tiramisu's)--although their perfectly crackled and vanilla bean creamy crème brûlée is a close second. Espresso martini was excellent, arriving in a large martini glasses with a perfect coffee bean afloat in the center. Ciao and mille grazie!

Food is nice sized portions. Pasta is heavy and you could definitely take home leftovers. Plating is well done. The dishes look beautiful. Lasagna was delicious and the cannelloni was excellent. My chicken dish has a long name and was last item on menu. You can opt for veggie and potatoes or pasta in a red or white sauce. The chicken was saucy so next time I just might get plain pasta for the sauce with chicken. Dessert, which i didn't get a pic, was a a tarfuro (?), not spelled right, which was zabiglione with a chocolate Gelato surrounding it and a powdery coating. It was gooood.....reservations are a must. Went on a Monday night and it was packed!

I came here for an anniversary dinner and was pretty disappointed. I thought some of servers we encountered were pretty nice and friendly while others were cold and stiff. The service we got was a little conflicting and definitely varied by person. After we sat down, it took about ten minutes before someone came by to fill up our water glasses; I genuinely thought they had forgotten about us. As for the food, it was alright and was definitely made fresh. I personally love Italian food and have been to Italy, so maybe my standards are a little high, but I wouldn't come here just for the food, especially after my conflicting experience with the service. After finishing the entrees, I asked the server if they did anything for anniversaries, and they said they only offered something for birthdays unfortunately.

Amazing food. Every time with no exception. My family and I have tried just about everything on the menu and everything has been more than good. I moved from Italy 14 years ago and I'm so picky when it comes to Italian food this is the only spot I'll go to when I want authentic Italian food. A million starts lol

Paradiso is our goto place when we crave some traditional Italian food, the kind that brings you comfort and happiness. It isn't fancy, and staff is always friendly. I came here because i craved lasagna, and their version definitely hit the spot. A generous meat sauce that has small pieces of ham, uncommon but added another level of savory. Hubby had the stuffed chicken breast that unfortunately was slightly dry. It was a very busy weekend night but staff was working hard to take care of everyone in a timely manner. It is a neighborhood gem!

Capellini al Pomodoro with optional scallops

The pasta dishes we got were delicious. Pasta was cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce and tons of flavor. We added chicken to mine for an extra charge and they provided a generous amount. My hubby added scallops for $11 extra and only got 3 which he was disappointed with at first, but when he tasted them, he said they were amazing and worth the $11. They will substitute GF rigatoni for any pasta and mine was cooked perfectly. No cross-contamination with the pasta They do serve AMAZING complimentary bread (no GF option) The server was very knowledgeable about menu and GF details. He was always there when we needed him and friendly The ambiance is very nice and Italian. Easily can be romantic and "dressed up". Easy to be casual too. Great experience and food. We will be back to try even more dishes.

Went in for Italian food with my friend as I have heard good thing about this place where I actually been a few times while ago. We were able to make a reservation despite it was Sunday night around 6:30 on the last minute. The place was pretty full and lively. The service was ok. I ordered Risotto di mare and my friend creamy pasta can't remember the name. They were solid with fresh ingredients. I liked their complimentary bread that were warm and soft. The portion was huge even the cocktail I had. The food here would be good to share.

The service was pretty quick and I really like their bread. Love the way they make the bruschetta where the garlic bread is so crunchy and the tomatoes were very fresh. The pasta was also very good with lots of seafood. Great place to bring the kids!

They don't have seats tables to linger. Considering how expensive Kirkland is, it is perfectly understandable. In the past, I was visually lured by their IG friendly drinks such as the strawberry matcha latte. I hated it. They serve it in a non-shakable cup, and it is impossible to properly stir the thick strawberry jam into the beverage. On this cold February day with no lines, I spent the time to ask questions, and we landed on the Bobaejicha, which is roasted green tea hojicha milk tea. For the hard care tea drinkers, hojicha is often a fav. They did right by the hojicha with the smoky tea, soothed with milk, and a touch of sweetness at 25%. It tasted good at 0% also, but I had her add the sugar after a few sips, so I can try both variants. I realized I prefer a 0% by the second half of the cup. Their house made brown sugar syrup adds a caramel taste when mixed with the smoky hojicha. Both variants are good. It was a fun chat to figure out my drink away from photo influences.

We had seen several…read morepop up in the past, but hadn't seen anything interesting in the past few months, so we dropped in to ask about them. Apparently rather than being prescheduled most of the time, they are held on demand. We asked for an Oolong tasting session and was able to get one penciled in a couple of weeks later. The store itself is appropriately decorated for a modern and trendy tea shop. There's a bit of an overpowering perfume that lingers throughout the store. It's not the best setting for a tea tasting, especially when trying to differentiate tasting notes when the olfactory glands are already completely saturated with perfume. LizzyKate has a decent selection of true tea, nothing super unique or rare, but I think they lean towards the more accessible blends and tisanes in the first place. Oolong Tasting Class ($35/per person) - Tasting sessions are held in the bar area, brewed mostly using gaiwan with carefully measured water temperature and volume. The class provides some educational material including laminated papers describing the tea production process, growing regions, anatomy, etc. More importantly, unlike some other tasting sessions I've attended, they actually provide pencil and paper, along with brewing instructions, to write down cupping and tasting notes. It certainly beats taking notes on my phone as I usually do. For this course, we tasted a white tea and four different oolongs. My personal tasting notes as follows (for future reference for myself): Bai Mu Dan - Mild, mellow, sweet and slightly astringent flavor with notes of honey and hay. Light golden liquid that's very easy to drink. Tie Guan Yin - Caramelized sweetness, vegetal leafy with a tiny earthy element. Darker golden color with more astringency and round lingering taste. The leaves smell smoky and roasted. Baihao - The smell is distinctively roasty and earthy, approaching the fermented smell of puerh. It has a brownish color and tastes smoky and earthy like peat. Formosa Oolong - It tastes of malt and molasses, with a certain oxidized toastiness. The color is more dark brown although it's not very astringent given the color. Osmanthus Oolong - This smells more malty and surprisingly not that flowery in aroma. The mouthfeel is extremely creamy and silky, almost like milk with the balanced taste of barley and hops with only a slight osmanthus flowery taste in the background. I think the base used is Jin Xuan given the milkiness. With the tasting also comes some treats including mini muffins and some tea infused bars from a chocolatier in Singapore, Fossa Chocolate. I think LizzyKate is more geared towards people who don't have much experience with tea and want a place that's extremely welcoming and modern. They have lattes and plenty of herbal and fruity infusions to help beginners ease into the complexities of tea, While this shop isn't for me, more tea shops are always welcome in the area. I'd definitely recommend it to my friends who want to dip their toes into the world of tea. Bathrooms - Single unisex room.

We got to sample five teas and several pieces of chocolate, as well as snacks to clear the palate between teas. We learned about tea and how its harvested, as well as the processing of tea. We also learned about the tea flavor wheel and identified tea tasting notes in the sampled teas. I do wish there was more of a compare and contrast between the teas - it would have been cool to try the same teas but early vs late season, or tea processed similarly but from different regions. If you're new to tea though, the classes are perfect for you!

We could not adjust the toppings on the kiosk. The staff did help me adjust it manually to give me pudding instead of lychee jelly. That was nice. However, the royal milk tea we ordered came out with boba. I obviously didn't notice until after we took our photos, left the shop, and took a few sips, so we went back in to let the staff know. First, she said she would re-use the drink and sift out the boba to replace it with pudding. I declined that offer and requested they make a new one. Then, another staff member joked saying she would drink my already drunk from, old boba. Then, they threw it into the trash. Talk about waste :( finally, they remade it but gaslit me telling me that I had actually ordered boba, and they didn't believe me that I had actually put in pudding. Given that I had ordered from the kiosk, I told them they can just look it up and see I wasn't lying, but she rudely said "well I already made it." They didn't even put a sticker/label on my remade drink. The worst part is, the peach oolong was really bad and the boba was especially bad. Overcooked and bland. I wouldn't come here again for the tea or the service. The shop itself is clean and decorated with cars and anime. There is car-themed seating and a large, free parking lot.
