My mod Pizza with extra cheese
Jeannie N.

It was really good. We were there at lunch so it was very busy. My friend got a mini pizza and a slice was missing out of the pizza which was kind of funny. Since she's on a diet she didn't want to say anything she said it was the universe saying I support your diet while supporting your pizza for lunch. Overall a good location with highly customizable pizzas.

Mod Mod - 11" Pizza

Good personal pizza spot. Mod Pizza 11" (4): You can choose from any of their pre-selected combos or make your own. I think most people make their own so you can customize exactly what you like. I tend to like to keep it simple. Their oven is great and crisps the dough nicely. You can even choose your dough type. Side garden salad (2): Had to call this out. The only way you can mess up a garden salad is if your veggies aren't fresh or you just mess up the ratios. This was the latter. Not much actual greens. Lots of tomato and cucumbers. But the MAIN thing was drenched in dressing. Felt like I was drinking dressing. Pretty gross if you ask me. Get your dressing on the side! Overall a decent spot for personal pizza's with fresh ingredients and a great pizza oven!

A bit challenging turning into this location from a busy bellevue way street. There are a few parking spots available. Arrived at a super busy time so the wait was about 10minutes. Very spacious bright space with lots of seating. Ingredients were fresh and friendly service. We always love the no name cake!

Create Your Own (11" Pizza)

Create Your Own Pizza: The toppings were all tasty and in good amount. The base pizza was a good support for the toppings, but a plain cheese pizza may be underwhelming. The online ordering process was easy and fast. In around 20 minutes, our pizza was ready to be picked up.

We walked and there was little to no line (photo attached shows line) and yet the online orders were prioritized once it was our turn to order and we had waited in line for a half hour. the pizzas we finally received were POORLY cooked, three being a little BURNT and the fourth was a mega mod that was undercooked. the pizza was cut UNEVEN and terribly centered. also an unreasonably amount of garlic which overpowered the pizza. super mod is super SLOW

Joshua busting a pizza for the early lunch rush. Great great service.

Food is Mod. However they're out of basil. Not the issue. The issue is. We walked in the restaurant. Next in line. The dude raised his voice, almost yelling, we have lots of internet orders. Is gonna be like 15 minutes! So rude! But then Joshua showed up to work and was really nice. He busted a new dress table and said just a minute folks. Great service Joshua. Joshua, YOU earned all 5 stars for this place cuz I was writing this 1 star review when you showed up. Pic below. Thanks. T You should run this place. Not the other guy who seems to busy to be nice.

Great pizza with some home beers and Mikes sub

My home spread of beer and Mod pizza. I was told I wasn't ordering Mod correctly so I tried this new version and it was bomb! Order the Olive Oil base and then add your fixings but not too much. Pictured here was roasted garlic, chopped tomatoes, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, with a finish of artichokes, anchovies, and pesto with red sauce dollops perfect pizza! The olive oil base with the sauce on top is the way to go

I've gotten take out here a couple times and every time it's been a great experience. You can order for pick-up on their website or through their app. If you download the app you'll get some rewards too. When you order online you can select your scheduled pick-up time. The big sell about MOD is the build-your-own pizza for ~$9. They have pre-built types of pizza but if you can put whatever you want on the pizza for the same price, why wouldn't you?! For me, I love meat on my pizza so I just select all the meats and all the other toppings I like such as garlic, mushrooms, pineapple (don't hate), corn, red onions. They also have a lot of sauces (both as a base and as a drizzle on top) such as BBQ sauce, pesto, and Mike's hot honey (which is really really good). They have a small parking lot so you can park and pick up your food. If the parking lot is full though you're in a pickle because there isn't much other parking in the downtown area that's close by. This is my go-to place if I'm craving pizza and want something quick and cheap. I love the ability to choose any toppings I like (which is a lot) for no extra cost.

Doughy mess!
EuGene L.

OMG, four "frat boys" still couldn't get a decent pep and mush pie out a da kitchen! Seriously, maybe the worst fresh pizza I've ever had. On the first try the guy forgot the shrooms. Geese, buddy on a two item pizza, that's not impressive. The looser tossed some raw ones on and tried to hand it back. Try number two and the uneven crust and sauce caused one side to be doughy on top and burned on the bottom. I wouldn't have believed assembly of a pie could be so important. I was wrong.

Resonate's pizza is bar none the best I have ever had anywhere. And that includes Pagliacci, and…read moreNorthlake Tavern way back when it was great. In particular, the three amazing, high-quality cheeses they put on their pepperoni pizza is like a symphony in your mouth. I would just avoid adding their olives, which are green, not black, and possibly the saltiest thing I have ever had in my mouth. I doubt a teaspoon of salt would taste much saltier. After choking down one I did not eat any of the others. Why they don't offer high quality black olives, which do so much for pepperoni pizza IMO, is a head-scratcher for me. Though they brew their beer there, and they always have a stout or porter for me--I like to eat my beer with a knife and fork--I've never found it out of the ordinary. A can of Irish Death would be better. It's the pizza I go there for. But though it is my favorite place by far to have pizza, I have a bone to pick about one of the servers (most of their servers are fine): As a former fine dining restaurant server and shift manager, I'm familiar with the Washington state law that allows restaurant patrons to take partially consumed bottles of wine home with them in their cars if (a) it is resealed with its cork, and (b) they keep it in the trunk or other cargo area where humans don't normally sit. And don't touch it until they're parked at home. I'm a light drinker, and one time I only drank about half a bottle of beer. I think it might have been a large bottle, I'm not sure. Wondering if the rule I knew so well for wine might apply to beer bottles too, I asked the server if it was possible to take it home. I supposed that the main issue might be whether they had a way to seal it, since the cap was no longer good for that. He didn't know, and said he'd find out. When he returned, he said no, and acted like it was the dumbest question anyone in the universe had ever asked, or ever could ask. I had a flashback of Dixie's BBQ on Northup way by I-405 (long closed), where surly sarcasm from knuckle-dragging employees was basically a brand. Curious, today I asked Google for help. I learned that the reason it's possible with wine is because there is a special carve-out in Washington state law just for wine. The carve-out does not apply to any other type of alcohol. So it doesn't matter if you can find a way to reseal the beer bottle. Because the carve-out is only for wine, not beer. I doubt that nuance is widely known. I think it's a reasonable question. As a former server, I have a piece of advice for that server: If you ask a question of a coworker, and they answer with sarcasm, you don't pass that sarcasm on to the customer when you pass on the answer. That's bad service. In my 6 years in restaurants, I was asked my share of dumb questions. But I would never have dreamed of letting on that I thought the question was dumb. Because that's an important part of what good service is. But again, most of the servers there are fine.

I ordered the space cowboy pizza, which was flavorful and had a decent amount of toppings, although I wish there hadn't been quite so much crust on the edges. There was plenty of seating inside, but there was a really big and noisy group in the center, so it was really difficult to hear above them. I'm not sure if there's typically much in the way of service but other than bringing us our food and drinks (and finally a to go box), that's all we got, so don't expect much. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to return here but if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't mind trying some other pizzas!

Overall they were really friendly in inviting us in, bringing water, and letting us use the space for puzzles. For me specifically, they ...kind of dropped the ball on all of it. One person told me she'd bring me a menu once I was seated, but proceeded to pass me by when handing out menus (maybe because I already had water? Unclear. I tried to flag her down but she either didn't see me or ignored me). When I got up to ask about it, a different person just looked expectantly for me to order. When I told her I hadn't received a menu yet, she just gestured at the to go menu on the counter. When the pizza came, there were no napkins or utensils or anything given to me either. Throughout the whole hour and a half I was there, no one so much asked how I was doing despite that seeming to be standard for all the parties around me (including another one with only one person, so it wasn't because I was a Singleton working on puzzles!). The pizza I got was the aggressive mushroom one, which was great on mushrooms but oddly overly sweet, so I probably wouldn't get it again. The texture of the pizza was great though. Overall, the place was nice for puzzles and the food was good (just not what I expected for my order, but that's not really their fault). It was just a really weird night of service of feeling like they were snubbing me for no reason. It would be different if that's how they treated everyone or at least everyone who was puzzling solo, but the other person at my same table who was working solo got much better and nicer service than I did. :/
