Absolutely terrible experience. I placed my order online ahead of time, expecting it to be ready when I arrived. Instead, when I got there, my order hadn't even been started. They literally began making it only after I walked in. The service was extremely slow and completely disorganized. There were FIVE employees working behind the counter, yet somehow everything was moving incredibly slowly. I had to stand there and wait for an order that was supposed to be ready already. What is the point of ordering online ahead of time if the staff doesn't even start preparing the order until the customer arrives? This was a huge waste of time and very frustrating. This is the main Jersey Mike's that we come to for our sandwiches. We order them to go 100% of the time and via the app. They are always later than they say they will be so we have to plan on picking them up 15 minutes later than the quoted pick up time . So as long as we plan on that and have that expectation set, it's not frustrating They never comment on being late or apologize, but I also never comment on it because I like to be a good sport . But it would be nice if they recognize that and said something. I hope they are at least aware that they are consistently not meeting the mark that they say they will meet because I'm thinking that not every customer is as forgiving as I am The sandwiches are made correctly 95% of the time. We are dairy free so always have to put in a request to not put cheese on there, but sometimes cheese does end up on there so we always just have to check and take it off So if you have any dietary issues, just double check that your sandwich was made correctly The staff is nice enough although I wouldn't say they are known for their customer service. They get the job done and I guess that's really all you want for someone making a sub. I am currently on a Jersey Mike craze it is seriously so good. I absolutely think Jersey Mikes is the best chain sandwich shop. Their food tastes super high quality, their meat is fresh, and their bread is the best sandwich bread, it's so soft. The service here is super good and the workers are really reliable and kind. It does often get busy during lunch which could make the service longer, and they often get full of online orders. But this place always satisfies my cravings and is the perfect ease to my sub craving!! Also tip, they have double point's on Mondays for Jersey Mikes rewards. :) read more

Food is great as it always is at a JM, but this location doesn't have it together for pickup orders. Unlike the one I usually frequent across town, this one doesn't have the rack for pickup orders, and instead you're forced to flag down an employee for your food. There's also no room to form a line, so it becomes a bit of a mad rush to get your order and no way to really queue up. You spend so much time waiting to get their attention you might as well just get in line and order the usual way. read more

Yesterday I had a craving for a good Philly Cheese steak. This was my second time trying Jersey Mike's in Redmond. Both times I ordered the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak - Regular. The first time I had it with cheese (Nasty American Cheese with no option to specify a different type of cheese). Yesterday I decided to order again with no cheese, but the sandwich was dry! Do NOT go to this Jersey Mike's. They are NOT following COVID protocol. Here's what happened to me today... First off, the person that was making our sandwiches did NOT have a face mask that fully covered his nose. His face mask was only over his mouth. I observed this person make everyone's sandwiches with his mask this way breathing all over their food. The second issue was that the state of Washington is on a limited capacity for all indoor retail establishments with caps at 25%. At the time I was in this location, there were over 12 guests and that did not include the 4 or 5 employees that were working in this location. The third issue was that we placed our order online and it specified the food would be ready at 2:15 PM. I arrived at 2:15 PM in the store and had to wait for the partially masked person to make our sandwiches which took an additional ten minutes of me having to wait in this over crowded store. Since the store was so crowded and the person making the sandwiches did not have his nose covered, I decided to throw away the $38 in food I had pre-ordered since I thought it would be safer than possibly contracting COVID-19. I will also be reporting this store location to the state of WA public health officials. read more

They're sandwiches. Pieces of bread with stuff between them, and that implies simplicity. So why are they so expensive at Jersey Mike's? And not that good. I honestly don't remember what was standing here before this restaurant, but I'm not impressed. I need my sandwiches to be not so expensive, not so small, and not so plain. Jimmy John's is a little further down the road and beats this place on all three accounts. Really, this place reminds me a lot of Charley's Grilled Subs. That's basically what Jersey Mike's is, although they do also sell cold sandwiches. It was a hot sandwich that I ordered, a regular big kahuna cheese steak ($7.85) to be exact. With grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, and extra cheese, I thought I would be quite satisfied. The truth, first of all, is that a regular means only half a sandwich. You have to pay inflated prices for a "giant" if you want the whole thing. Second, even the half sandwich is still pretty expensive. I ended up paying around nine dollars for half a sandwich. Third, the contents were actually somewhat empty; it's not like the sandwich was brimming with ingredients. That's Jimmy John's. Let me set the stage. I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's, but not a huge customer; I treat myself to a giant sub every two weeks or so. I've been to this location a bunch of times, the one in Woodinville a few times, and maybe once to the Overlake location. I walked in tonight at 8:50, they close at 9:00. The fellow behind the counter told me right off that he was closing up. "So, go away, John?" I asked. He said nothing. Didn't want to take 3 minutes to make me a sandwich. So I walked out, and I won't be back. I will remain a patron at other locations (hey, I have a lot of Shore Points in the bank and the sandwiches are that good!) but this location no longer deserves my (admittedly inconsequential) business. To be clear... I won't show up at 8:59 with a ton of special requests and expect you to smile. (Good customer service would dictate you make the sandwiches, but frankly I'd understand if you didn't want to.) This is going to be a pretty detailed review. I work a couple doors down from these guys & finally gave them a try a couple weeks ago. I like sub sandwiches and recently broke up with a sub sandwich chain because I don't support companies with founders that have ethics I don't agree with. I just did a little research on Jersey Mike's & I am pretty wowed at everything these guys do. The give quite a bit to charities! Look it up! This is a company I can feel good about supporting. So, I'm in! :) Onto the food :) I am mostly a veg head & order the Veggie (go figure) ;) I LOVE the "Mini" size! Perfect for me unless I want leftovers. If I want half to take home I order the "Regular". I'd like to talk about Pros & Cons.... Pros: it's not bad & I dig the cheese, don't change that part please!! Super awesome that they sell energy drinks!! Very Mild Cons: on my mini (5 inches) veggie sub; mostly lettuce, 2 rings of thinly sliced pepper, 2 slices of tomato (which sometimes are little ones) & 2 types of cheese, onions & pepperoncini. As someone ordering a veggie sandwich, I like veggies. I'd be happier with 3 rings of peppers, & 3 tomatoes. The ratio of stuff in your mouth is mostly bread, lettuce & cheese with a little of the other stuff. I also ask for oil & vinegar, but a big tip - if you don't want it totally drenched, you better ask for very light. My last complaint is just the lack of choices of veggies. Like another reviewer has said, they are not following Covid guidelines at this Jersey Mike's. I made an online order late one evening and arrived for pickup a little early. The store was empty and I could only see two employees inside, but the employee making my sandwich was doing so without a mask OR gloves. The other employee nearby was sweeping without any mask at all either. When I entered, the employee making my sandwich stopped, washed their hands and put on gloves and a mask, but only because I was there. The employee sweeping clearly understood they weren't following guidelines, and apologized while she placed her mask on. With my food already bought and paid for, I simply walked out and tossed it. Probably should have asked for a refund on the spot, but I have some social anxiety and didn't feel like getting into it with an employee that didn't even care enough to wash their hands before preparing my food. Because it was an onlinep order, I contacted their customer support and explained the situation, asking for a refund. Being a franchise chain, they passed the buck by explaining they've referred this matter to the business owner. Never heard from that owner, never received a refund. So while we're on the never-train, how about we say I'll never be back. Genuinely disappointing on so many levels. If the reason I get to watch you make my sandwich is because I HAVE TO otherwise you'll disregard my personal safety, I'd prefer to just not put myself in that position in the first place. read more

Came for lunch with a co worker. Wasn't sure what to expect but when arrived and saw they have philly's well this guy was pleased. Went with the #43 Chipotle Philly. Yeah I know some true philly fans would think this was sacrilege but there wasn't that much spice to the Chipotle but added a depth of flavor. I was pleased with the sandwich the bread seemed off compare to other phillys I have had. Maybe if it was toasted more not sure something felt off with bread. I ordered a GF sub today and the process they followed to make sure there was no contact with gluten was phenomenal. Each person changed their gloves, the machine was cleaned and they followed all proper GF protocol. New business, just opened a week or so ago. Store is very clean, staff is friendly, sub is very tasty. If you are first timer, make sure you get the mike's style (salt, black pepper, olive oil, and vinegar) I normally get giant size and ask them to cut in 4. Love their subs!
