I think this place has vastly improved from a couple years ago. I stopped going because it wasn't worth it for the mistakes, waiting, price. I've gone several times in the last few months and they have been outstanding each time. I do use the app to order ahead and they have had it done in time each time and during peak lunch hours. The sandwiches are very neatly made (eg tomatoes are not just stacked, lettuce covers meat, items are centered, onions are distributed--although I wish for a few more pieces of onion) most of the time. They are appropriately warm, and taste good. And for the price, best fastfood burgers you can get (IMHO). Staff are friendly, efficient, and work hard. The place is clean. I am currently writing this from within the Jack in the Box (using their free wifi!) in a state of bliss. I had a bad day, and I wanted to take out all my anger and frustration on the nastiest cheapest Jack in the Box meal I could come up with. I downloaded the app, and I got a sick deal. For $5.50 I got: a siracha curly fry burger, medium size fries, and 2 tacos. It doesn't sound like much on paper, but the experience was like drowning yourself in treasure chest of fast food. First thing I noticed when I came inside: ultra clean. This was at 12:30 on a Saturday, so maybe not as much traffic as a weekday. But it was immaculate. I sat down to start typing an email, and the nice lady who was manning the register was walking around cleaning and checking on guests, and she asked me if I was waiting on something. Turns out my mobile order was already ready! They prepared it so fast that the fries were actually already a little cold by the time I got to them :( The first thing I started on was the siracha curly fry burger. For those unaquainted, this is a menu item off of their "late night" section, for all the folks who get the midnight munchies. Well let me tell you, I'm ALWAYS down for a midnight snack, ESPECIALLY in the middle of the day. When I unwrapped this gem, a tidal wave of curly fries came pouring out from between the buns. It was like a portal to the infinite curl fry dimension. I ended up having basically a free side of curly fries in addition to my medium size regular fries! The burger patty itself was fine. Not anything amazing, but a passable fast food burger patty. But the curly fries and siracha mayo sauce together with the rest of the burger, created a delicious gooey starchy burger. It's exactly the kind of nastiness that you need when you're pissed and want to release all your stress through your teeth. I got halfway through my burger before I realized I hadn't touched my fries yet. Unfortunately, as I mentioned earlier, they had already grown cold by this point. But man there were so many left, it still felt great! Their medium size is pretty damn big, and that feeling you get when you get halfway through your burger only to discover that you have ALL of your fries left is like finding an unexpected $20 bill in your wallet. Lastly, the tacos. The infamous gas station quality Jack in the Box 2 for barely over $1 tacos. One look at them and you can tell they're pretty shit. But there is something about the way the oily, soggy center mass of fried taco shell, beef, cheese, and lettuce coalesce into something greater, that I have an undeniable attraction for. What can I say, I'm a junk food junkie. I don't think I've ever not enjoyed a taco I've gotten from Jack in the Box. But to traditional Mexican street food style taco enthusisasts, I recommend you absolutely do not order these tacos. You will think that they are an affront to God. I ended the meal fully satisfied with the food that I got. Especially for $5.50. It feels rare to be able to stuff yourself to this degree for that price anymore. I received my food yesterday, hoping it would be better than my previous three months of visits, but it has actually gotten worse. The fries were soggy and undercooked, drenched in oil. Richard that works window at this time, was a complete, rude, asshole. He handed me my change, and dropped a dime and penny on the ground. I asked for 2 sour cream, he said 1.08. I had the 7 cents in my hand still....that landed in my hand. I handed him 1.07 and said that the penny was on the ground that he dropped. He stood there and said well he can't reach that. Jack gets my business because McDonald's is too far, BK is a bit grimey and Wendy's is surrounded by construction. The location is good as it is near Bella Bottega in Redmond. Plenty of parking at adjacent Bella Bottega which is good, though the restaurant's lot is sort of smallish. The food here is fine. I usually tend to stick with the old reliable Jumbo Jack and two tacos. And then throw in a random item. Like a iced Kona coffee. The dining area is decent size, though the waiting area is a bit small. Service here is usually okay. Though it is slow during lunch. My experience today was the worst I have had here though. It took too long to get that iced coffee. Ordering that random item seems to slow down the process tremendously. Sticking with the popular items would be best if you are in a hurry. I do like the food at Jack In The Box, so I would still come here if I am in the mood for fast food. Just pacing myself for slow service. read more

I have been here a couple of times and the staff have always been really nice. One time I came here with an advertisement coupon with a friend. The coupon is to buy a burger and get the second burger free. I showed the staff my coupon. When I got my food, I realized they only gave us one burger instead of two. I asked the cashier about it and told her that the deal is buy one get one free. She got confused and had to ask the manager about it. Then we saw the receipt and realized that she actually just gave us a discount on the bill instead of giving us another burger. My friend and I ended up leaving the place hungry since we had to share a burger. I was here again recently and had the chicken nuggets. I always like chicken nuggets.
