I came to pick up an UberEats order. It was the end of the night and this was the last order of the day, so y'all know the context. I totally get they were ready to go, but they bagged the pizza so badly, I honestly can't believe I delivered it. The guy stuffed the pizza (in a box of its own) and salad into a big bag and gave it to me. Like the pizza was basically flipped over on its side in the bag. It was so bad, I'm kind of surprised the pizza didn't come out. I didn't know what would make sense to say at that movement, so I took the order to my car and kind of stacked it in a way that would make sense given it's a pizza. Honestly, wouldn't have ever thought to give MOD Pizza a 5 start review but it was my first time going and it was an excellent experience... First of all, their customer service was fantastic. The employees seemed to have a well established team ethic and they all made you feel comfortable even if you had a million questions or were indecisive on options. And the fact that you can get an 11" pizza with as many toppings you want for about ~8ish dollars and it still taste superb for being so fast and convenient... Boom. I love you, MOD Pizza. Really like this spot for a quick personal size pizza (or salad) you get to customize with a variety of toppings. It's nicer than ordering delivery, but not as fancy as going to a high-end pizzeria. Staff at this location is always enjoyable as well. BUT, and this is a big one for me, when the restaurant is so cold inside I can't enjoy my meal...we've got issues. And we're sitting on metal chairs - my bum is not liking this. It was about 28° outside right then (Monday night) and the employees were even cold in there. Why not adjust the thermostat you ask? Well, it seems that corporate controls the temperature of their establishment. I understand the desire to monitor energy consumption and adjust for efficiency, but when your patrons AND employees are uncomfortable it's a bit much. Tried this for the first time today. Service was friendly and the pizza came out quickly and that is when I noticed that they were extra stingy with the toppings. Yes you can order every topping for no extra charge but be prepared for only a very little bit of each one. When ordering the pizza you can be as nice as you can and you will still feel like a burden even tho it's their job to prepare the pizza. Today was my first time trying out mods which is weird because I work at subway (one store down). This place is amazing and I look forward to coming back! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It really is disappointing to enjoy the food and later witness actions that turn your stomach. Read through reviews here on this place and two things are very apparent. people, for the most part, really love the pizza. When the place loses stars there are always comments about staff issues or cleanliness. I was standing at the pickup counter patiently waiting and witnessed several violations of standard sanitary practices. As mentioned in other reviews there is a practice of handling the dough getting it ready for use without hands by staff engaged in handling boxes from the back, running the cash register, opening the door to the back etc.... Not everyone is wearing hair covers. The grossest thing was when they got busy and management called someone from the back to help and although he wore gloves he was wiping the sweat from his brow with the gloved hands, pushing his hair back and then. I think the nature of the layout of the place, where everything can be seen, would lead to this particular store being shut down for staff and management to be retrained if more people were to actually pay attention. Management here seems to prefer to stay in the back on her cell phone and not involved. read more

Guys...i was gonna give 4 or 5 stars for the toppings choice and stuff but this doesn't make sense. The bottom (back side) is all burnt and I can assure you it's not healthy to eat that. I understand the crust is thin but that's not how pie or pizza is supposed to be even if it's thin crust. I bet dominos or pizza hut thin crust not burnt like I had mine. The burnt stuff just the ruined the taste and the restaurant for me. I'll add pics to show as well. Hope you guys fix the issue. If you crave thin, bubbly, barely crispy on the bottom, foldable NYC shotgun pizzeria grab and go style pepperoni slices MOD ain't that kind of pizzeria bruv. That's what I crave. Plenty of other positive reviews so if you like a thicker, doughy crust MOD is great. Caesar salad okay but soggy. Staff really nice & hard working. Really the food deserves five stars. The layout lost them a star. More on that later. The food: delicious! I came with my husband and we typically have differing pizza appetites. No problem because we could order our own in our choice of sizes. I got a mini with red sauce, spicy Italian sausage, garlic, mushrooms, asparagus and pesto drizzle. I also ordered a side Caesar and was given the opportunity to have my dressing on the side. Beautiful. Our pizzas were ready quickly and the crust was so much tastier than I was expecting. I ended up inhaling mine. My husband made the good point that it's nice to have the option to lather on your toppings for a set price. Also true. The layout: I'm not a fan of how the tables and bar benches (which I don't like anywhere) are arranged. It feels like too much squeezed in to too small of a space. We came at dinner time, around 6:15, which I had the feeling afterward was their Friday dinner rush. So people and kids swarming. As we waited and ate it cleared out to where things didn't feel so claustrophobic. I will definitely come back. I'm going to try to make it in the off hours, though. read more

My pizza was fixed exactly the way I like it! There was no holding back on the toppings. Even when I had to address a spot on one of the pizza doughs that was being served to me, the crew didn't make a big deal out of it. They made the quick adjustment and kept things moving. I have to say my pizza was... just bad. The red onions were missing, and I found a few stray pieces of sausage and chickpeas (which I didn't order). I'm not a pizza person. I didn't grow up eating pizza. The only time I eat pizza is during events or meetings when I don't have a choice. MOD Pizza might be changing that. Unlike the usual bready and oily run of the mill pizza you find at usual pizza joints, I get the option to fully customize here. Remove everything I don't like and maximize what I like. Unlimited toppings and thin crusts means that the toppings are highlighted in the meal, instead of just a bunch of carbs. No more oily pizza with only a few slices of wimpy pepperoni slice. This location is now our family's go to place for pizzas. The manager and staff members are all very nice. They don't skimp out on the toppings and even offer free drinks if the wait is longer than anticipated. I tried using the Yelp check-in offer on an online order once (which is not allowed) and the manager just came out and let me use the offer anyway! read more

Good service, informative, etc. In chatting with one employee, as it was my first time here, I learned that they have about 250 franchises, out of Seattle, etc. To the food... For the concept and business model, it is as good as it can likely get. Heads and shoulders above Blaze Pizza, both in pricing, ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, etc. Most importantly, to me, the toppings didn't turn the crust into lasagna. Finally I was able to check out Mod Pizza. I'm so happy there is a pizza place like this close to where I live. I love this concept. One price for unlimited toppings...sign me up!! Mod offers the standard 11 inch crust or you can do double dough and for smaller appetites there is a 6 inch option. In comparison this type of pizza can be a healthier alternative. I've never been to a MOD pizza before, and while out prospecting for my business I stopped in to grab a bite to eat. AS SOON as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a hello. My broker and I went to order a salad and since I hadn't been, I gave Mariah full control! She was so creative and the ingredients looked great! Amanda and Mariah were very helpful from beginning to end. The atmosphere was bright, restaurant was clean and even the bathrooms were clean... which is a big one in my book.
