Rude, Bias Male employee
S G.

Male employee working at the front counter assumed I was picking up for Uber. Told me to sign in. I asked him why I needed to sign in? He said picking up for Uber you have sign. I stated to him that I am not Uber. He didn't bother to ask me my name when I first approached the counter. I had to tell him my name. He then ordered me to show my order on my phone as paid. Degrading as this is, I had to show this difficult male employee my phone with my order as paid. At this time and a White Male walks to the counter to pick up his pizza order, and this same Male employee did ask this White Male customer for his name and then he handed the pizza to this White Male customer. I then asked this same male employee why he did not do the same for me. I am a Black Female customer. I have attached the Pic of the rude, unwelcome, bias Male employee. I will never visit this Double Dave's pizza establishment ever again. In addition, I will tell everyone and anyone about this rude bias Male employee working at Double Dave's. And not order, nor eat their pizza and food.

Food was good. We ordered pizza rolls. Service was good too because they just opened so it wasn't busy. Ambiance is ok. It's king and doesn't have a lot of seating definitely not for large groups

I didn't have the best experience with their Austin location but since I was in Manor I decided to give it another chance other than ordering Pizza Hut or dominos. I ordered 2 topping pizza deal with pepperoni rolls & a dessert. My pizza was doughy & not cooked on the bottom. The pepperoni rolls were mostly bread, barely any pepperoni or cheese & my family didn't like the dessert. It took them more than an hour to reliever my pizza even though I was only 5 mins from the location. I was disappointed because when you order it doesn't give you a estimate for delivery time. When I called to see where my pizza was the lady said he was on his way out but I waited another 20 mins for him to finally show. I wasted $47 on this & I'm very disappointed! They also don't give refunds only stores credits. How do you give store credit for bad food?! Would rather a refund!

The service was good. The inside could use cleaning & better esthetics. The pizza was fresh & made well.

Absolutely no flavor. Very little sauce and cheese. The toppings were barley cooked. Very strange. Will never order again

Canceled my delivery order after an hour and a half saying their iPads weren't working. Very terrible customer service.

Not my favorite pizza. The pizza was over cooked and the ground beef was dried out. Service was good. Went with take-out.

Placed an order at 8pm and they will wait to the end of the night to make it and deliver it. I finally cancelled after almost 2 hours.

I'm awarding 5 stars for our two recent visits. But, there's a point I'd like to make. Yes, this is…read morea dining destination and prices are commensurate with the experience. For most pasta dishes, I'd hit Mandola's in Austin. Save about $10 an entree and some gas money. A few weeks ago I didn't want to venture too far off the ranch. Wife and I ended up at Lisina on Saturday. Calamari to start was crisp and not chewy. Caesar salad followed and was a nice example of the dish. Lisina is also a little skimpy on offering bread refills. We finished with drinks and the panna cotta. Just over $100 for this experience. WELL, the next day I needed to take mom out for her anniversary. Dad has long passed but I always try to do something special. Sunday highlights forthcoming. This time with mom and Rooster along we started with the carpaccio. The presentation really wowed because it looks like red plate until you realize all that color is shaved tenderloin. White plate underneath! The greens, parmesan, and aioli was one of the best I've had. Mom went for the gnocchi; Rooster goes for the Mezzaluna ravioli. This is now Rooster's fave restaurant. I went back to the appetizers section and selected the crab cake. Zero complaints on these dishes. Don't forget mom's wine. Gelato and cake to finish the meal. I think I've dined here once since my 2009 review. Yup, steak pics still accounted for on Yelp. Trattoria Lisina is still going strong in Driftwood. Expect $$$$, this meal was almost $300. Good food ain't cheap folks.

Not too busy / crowded when we got to the Domain. Our server was very sweet and very attentive. She went over the menu and presented us with a smaller menu that had revisions and specials not on the regular menu. We started off with 2 cocktails - Passione & Breakfast Mule with the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata plate. The Passione was light and refreshing, alcohol not to overpowering. The same for the Breakfast Mule. Both cocktails went well with our appetizer and brunch meals. We ordered the Tuscan Hash with Braised Short Rib, Pollo Fritto, Americano & Breakfast Rosa. We each ordered and shared a few bites to taste. The Tuscan Hash with Braised Short rib and the short rib was cooked to perfection and blended well with the poached egg and hash. The Pollo Fritto was cooked well, however my son wasn't a fan of the sauce. He ate it anyways and said overall was good but not great because of the sauce. I ordered the Americano with prosciutto and it was too good that nothing else was left on the plate. My daughter had the Breakfast Rosa pizza, flavor was great, sauce & meats were evenly spread with 2 eggs to top it off. To finish off our brunch, we each had an espresso, tiramisu and strawberry sorbet. Dessert and coffee were great as well. We went home happy & full.

It's not really a 'nice' date place but the food is really excellent. I always get the eggplant parmesan. The best in town. Very light on the bread crumbs, super high in eggplant tastiness. The marinara is very good. My wife usually gets the spahetti with Italian sausuage, which is always good. The insalata mista is very nice with the house vinaigrette and plenty for two to share. The complementary focaccia is delicious. The desserts are great. I like the cookies, especially the pignolini, and the cannoli are very good. My wife always gets gelato, especially stracciatella, when they have it. The prices are reasonable, probably higher than you'd expect for counter service, but worth it for the food quality. Staff is always friendly and attentive. It gets really crowded so be prepared to wait. It's worth it.

This restaurant has you placed your orders at the register and they are brought out to you from the kitchen by staff. They have a pretty varied selection of Italian dishes on the menu. Started with the bruschetta and had chicken piccata for the main entrée. The bruschetta was excellent. It was crispy and the tomatoes were very flavorful. The bread itself could've been sliced a bit thinner but overall it was very well done. The chicken piccata had a bright lemon flavor that was enhanced with the capers. The chicken was accompanied by fresh pasta laden with butter and Parmesan cheese. All in all it was a satisfying experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommend recommended.
