The install was done quick and right on the day of my appointment (which was just as easy to schedule). Here's the most surprising part... a few months after the install I came back to David to check out a noise from one of my springs. He diagnosed and fixed the problem at no charge. I honestly was expecting to be charged for the labor of diagnosing/fixing the issue...but David is awesome in that he backs up his work...even months later. David and the crew here are awesome! I was in need of a pair of tires, and was shopping around for a good deal. I happened to stop by here while on my way to a shop close by just to see what they offered. I just wantes the cheapest tire thst they offered, and David ended up beating the price of his competitor! The install only took a 2 hours, and that included the time it took for them to get the tires in from his distributers warehouse. So i had lunch nearby. When I went back to pick my wheels up, he sais that his distributer was out of the cheap tires, so he ended up giving me a better tire for the same price! So awesome! Horrible experience! I originally ordered wheels for Lexus but I ended up selling it to a guy who wrecked it during a test drive. I tried to use those for my new vehicle but the pattern was off so I was left with the option to try and sell them myself to get the funds back to purchase new ones or pay a 20% restocking fee plus freight leaving Hawaii to the east coast! Let me start by saying that David went above and beyond helping me modify my car with new suspension, wheels and tires. A little background, I come from the 4x4 world and have never customized a car before. So after much research I decided to go bigger tires and wheels with new suspension for my AMG C63. This car is my baby and I was worried that I would basically be going to big on wheels/tires and to low on suspension which could result in rubbing and loss of turn radius. Spoke to David on phone many times about my set up and he never showed any kind of impatience. I even asked if he could dial my suspension up with some settings that I got from a guy in Germany that tuned his C63 with the same aftermarket suspension on the Nurburgring with the help of an AMG engineer, no joke. It was all Greek to me but I said what the heck, no place on Oahu to tune a suspension! Asked David if he could use the settings and he said no problem, understood them with no questions. The day of install was like Christmas for me and it took he and his crew about 4 hours to complete. When he pulled my car out of his garage I was blown away at how the car looked, wheels/tires stuffed perfectly in wheel wells! As stated, I was concerned about rubbing but David said he didn't think it would. Sure enough, no problem whatsoever after a few weeks of driving and the car performs amazingly, it's like a whole different beast. Went to MOD for TPMS scanning of the new TPMS installed in my aftermarket rims. David the owner encountered issues in the scanning, however his patience and perseverance lead to the discovery of the issue. He researched the issue and learned that the TPMS installed in my aftermarket wheels where the new versions (2020) and it is only compatible with the newer version of the "scanner tool". Told me that he is going to order the upgraded one and will let me know once he get it. After a week, David e-mailed me to visit the shop and he was able to scan the TPMS without issues with the upgraded scanner tool. Scanning of TPMS will cost you some money. Prior to MOD, I visited another shop (will not mention the name) and they actually charged me even though they failed to scan my TPMS. According to them, the charge is because they tried doing it. Well, I already left a negative review on that shop. But David did it for "FREE". He said that he values other people's time and was so sorry that he was not able to do it the first time. This kind of business owner deserves business from the locals. My next project is to buy a truck and modify it. Of course will have David and his staff take care of it. I was referred to MOD Industries by a good friend of mine. He only said good things about how they had helped him with his 4Runner. David and Micah were great. There is limited information on my truck due to it being a new model. Rims that I wanted were backordered. Seems hard to get certain things nowadays. David continued to help me and answer my many questions via phone and email. I had stopped by the shop one day, but David was on a trip. Micah was very helpful and took a break from what he was working on to answer some of my questions. I was about to purchase a suspension kit from MOD but ended up getting lucky and got some brand new parts a friend no longer needed. David still gave me a quote and completed the install. Made the appointment, confirmed the day before, dropped off and got back my truck on the time that was stated. I did expect possible hang ups and it taking longer due to newer model truck with newer type parts but it was completed on time. No problems. I dont give reviews unless the service is more than expected and ended the visit feeling happy. I had issues with my steering wheel shaking at certain speeds. Basically the shop who installed and balanced my tires screwed up. The owner of Mod Industries informed the weights was waaaaaaaay off, not only did he fix my problem that I was having for months since the last shop said it might be my spacers or tires which turned out to not be the issue but he also did it for free. I took my car to get work on and when I got it back all the warning lights and bells were constantly coming on. Took the car home and the next day it wouldnt start so I called Dave and he came to my house with a new battery which I ended up paying for. The next day the battery was dead. Called Dave again he came over and charged the battery. He couldn't fix the problem so he sent me to wrench werks to get the cars diagnostics, it came back 11 pages of things wrong. Broken left front sensor broken bearings in the same front axle. Repairs would cost 2000 dollars. And Dave is like we didn't touch that part of the car. I had my car dropped and put rims and tires that's exactly where they were working on Dave is denying any responsibility. My car was working fine before he worked on it.i wouldn't recommend anyone take their car there. I paid 5000 dollars to get work done and now I have a broken car. Legal action forthcoming. read more
