Definitely a place to go when considering aftermarket wheels, David takes the time to work with you to figure out the perfect set that you want and meets your expectations. Amazing to work with, Great knowledge, amazing personality, great business all in all. read more

Always a quick and good service. This is my second time taking my cars there and both experiences have been the same in regards when driving right afterwards. I notice the driving very rough and sensitive to the road after leaving the shop, and when I get home I check the pressure of the tires and they have been filled to more than 60psi, when the pressure should have been 32-33 psi. I know sometimes you have to fill the tires over 60psi when mounting them, but it doesn't take that long to depressurize them. If a customer doesn't know about this or not a car person, and of course is paying for a service, then he/she would trust on the installer and be unaware of the over wear and/or safety hazard that overfilling like that can cause. read more

Stellar Customer Service! Best Price! Trustworthy! I visited several other shops that lift trucks on Oahu, and the customer service, professionalism, and price are unmatched at Mod Industries. I'm mechanically challenged and David took his time to explain the options I had for my truck, based on what I plan to use my truck for. Ultimately, I selected a Revtek lift kit and larger tires to replace the stock tires I had on my Frontier Pro4X. I am completely happy with how the modifications turned out. David Reid really knows his stuff when it comes to modifying trucks and cars. Whether you are a hardcore custom car/truck person or like me, a rookie to vehicle modifications, Mod Industries is the place to get your vehicle modified. I plan to be a life-long customer. Big Mahalo! Review written via my wife's yelp account. read more

This is my new go to place! Called David about a lift kit and wheels for my tacoma and he was really knowledgeable and also turned out to be a dealer for the toytec lift kit I was interested in. He gave me a good price and I came in the next day to place the Order. Parts came in a week later and he got the kit installed and wheels and tires mounted faster than I expected. My truck came out great and because of the prices and David's good customer service I'll be bringing my truck here when I need work done from now on. read more

Got our 4runner and Tacoma lifted here. Outstanding service and pricing. These guys are the best and are so trust-worthy and genuine. They care about the quality they put out. We also got our rims mounted here and they balanced the tires for us as well. I have been recommending this company to anyone that asks where we got our vehicles done. read more

Awesome service! We needed tires changed asap because one of the front tires on our 350z was starting to split. GF pulled over on the side of the road until I could get the tires we had already purchased but hadn't had a chance to put on yet. Called Mod Industries and Dave said he could help us out and we could bring the car right then. Got the tires and car to the shop and within 20 minutes they were mounted and balanced! We'll definitely be coming back to get more work done by them when we change all 4 rims, tires, and suspension. read more

Great friendly and very professional. Got our rims on island fast and had them installed with new tires the next day after they arrived. Love that with an appointment they will rotate the tires free of charge every 4,000 miles! Highly recommend especially if you are seeking Helo wheel rims. They carry business with that line. read more

Mahalo Plenty Dave and the guys at Mod industries. Got referred here by a friend and Dave did an awesome job on my 4Runner. Great customer service, good prices, and fast quality service. Brought my 4runner here to get some Bilstein 5100 installed on my 2016 4Runner to level out the truck. (check out the pictures I uploaded). Order the parts on a Wednesday, the parts came in over the weekend and was scheduled for an install the next Thursday. I would definitely come back and tell my friends and family to go see him too. read more

David is a great person to do business with. He's very accommodating. I would recommend anyone that needs tires replace or installed.

Top notch customer service, honest, reliable, friendly, quality products, quick, & can work with your budget. Nuff said. Dave & Micah are my go-to guys for tires. Won't take my car anywhere else because I much rather support a small local business. Always a pleasure working with Mod Industries! Mahalo gentlemen! read more

Put on 1.25 wheel spacers for my 2016 Toyota Tundra trd pro less than a hour and u can't beat the price...the only thing was it started rubbing on my insider fender wish they would've offered to help me fix it but it all worked out cause I jus did it myself at work and it was a easy fix...plus I didn't get the brand name of the spacers but it's all good...owner was cool and helpful read more

Mod Industries is amazing! The owner is awesome and is super knowledgeable. I don't know a ton about about aftermarket upgrades or anything but I walked in and told him basically what I want and he ran me through what looks good for my truck similar ones he has done in the past. I got a 2.5in leveling kit and new tires/rims and my truck looks incredible! He was also very reasonable priced. I'm definitely going back for any other upgrades! read more

Always fast and reliable! I gave them a call the same day a pothole had blown out my tire and they got me in within two hours. I mistakenly told them I had my own tires but when I told them I didn't they were really cool about it. The owner himself went out to grab my tires! Only place I would go to to change my tires. read more

So the saga continues where Lori I. and Tze M. left off. My wife calls me yesterday and says (just like Lori I. ) "my car started to feel like it was floating"... and that she went out to look at the tires and that they were bald! so I remembered Lori I. review and that I had bookmarked the shop. I called up and spoke to John.. he asked me some simple questions.... what year is my car, is it 4 wheel or 2 wheel drive... does it have tire pressure sensors on the tires..blah blah blah.... If I had the car in front of me then I could also just have rattled off the numbers on the tire but my wife was somewhere on Oahu "float driving" and so John told me that he has the tires in the warehouse but he was totally booked on saturday.... and that he had already squeezed 2 other people in and that monday would work out.... Well then I remembered someone told me about " Trying the look of pure disappointment :{ " and so maybe it came off in my voice :) and John said he could see if he could squeeze me in at 1:30pm and would call me at 10am the next morning (since i called him right before closing time on friday ) Thanks for the tip Lori : ) I did actually call around "just in case " John could not fit me in. Costco had to special order the tires and they were more expensive and my wife is float driving and its not safe for the other drivers to be on the road with her. I think my wife would be ok because she is pretty good on the driving game Tokyo Cop at Dave and Busters... but my insurance just went up so even if she did hit someone I would wind up paying dearly for it ...... so anyway, Sears had the tires and they were a little cheaper but guess what! I went to Sears just this past May for tires for my car and it took them 3 hours and that left me walking around the mall doing impulse shopping and so now the cost of the tires just went way up. So I was just hoping John would come through..... Well like clockwork he calls me up at 10am on Saturday morning and says he has the tires and can squeeze me in and life is good and my wife will be happy and I will be a hero :) He said if I come in at 1:30 he will take 1/2 hour and be done by 2 .... WTF! r u kidding me.... no 3 hour wait like Sears : ) This place is right past the New Hope Sand Island location and up a ramp to rooftop parking and there is Mod Industries.... pretty easy to find. I told him that I saw them on Yelp and he said yeah there is this girl Lori that did a write up on them that they thought it was pretty cool and she must be a journalist......and I am thinking or maybe just another happy customer!! : ) Thanks John. read more

MOD Industries is the best! They have years of experience! I don't drive a fast and furious car (anymore). My friends all say I drive crazy, but I think it's all perception. I needed new front tires because they were going bald. David took one look and asked if I work in a parking structure with left turns. And I did! So I needed my tires replaced, but it was no rush since he didn't have them in stock. So I gave the green light to order couple of tires for me. It came in the next day! Worked around my busy schedule to have them installed. And I got my tires at a great price! MOD is tucked away, located on Sand Island Access Road, up the ramp of the old Pager One building. They are an aftermarket cars accessories shop. Even though I have a stock car, I like that they are personable, and I also like to support local businesses. MOD is fast, friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend using them for your vehicle needs. read more

These guys are awesome! I put rims and tires on my truck about a year ago, but needed to find a place to install a 2" leveling kit (to stop the passenger side tire from slightly rubbing on the bumper trim). I called Mod Industries and within a week, they were able to fit me in. The job took a little over an hour and was VERY reasonably priced. The customer service is very friendly and while I was waiting in the waiting area, I listened to them interact on the phone and in person and I could tell that they go out of their way to accommodate their customers. I would definately recommend these guys to anyone looking for any type of wheel/tire/suspension services. TIP: When you look for them on Google maps, it shows them in the middle of a warehouse. As you pass the warehouse, you'll see a steep ramp to the roof on the left side of the loading docks. Take the ramp up and they are right at the top. read more

I'm new the Island and bought a 07 Tahoe when I first moved here. When I purchased the SUV, it had 26" with thin tires (Not my style) So I purchased smaller rims it came with 305/50/20. Loved the look but can't turn left or right without it rubbing. I called around the island to see how to fix the problem. I talked to 3 different business and all three was givining me the run around and was confusing me. I finally called MOD Industries and spoked to David. All I can say, he knows what he's talking about. He was patient with all the questions and gave some pointers making my SUV drivable. Thank you MOD Industries read more

Very very helpful! Great customer service. It is a little hard to find, but tell me what isn't when it's located in Sand Island Access. Went in there near closing time, and some people are usually in a rush to leave or you feel like you're being rushed but that was not the case at all. I did not place an order yet, I will be pretty soon. But he's so helpful and fast with contacting me and keeping me informed on what I should order. I would recommend this place to anyone else! I tried a few other places, who will not be named, and they were just so rude! If not rude, they spoke to me like I was a mechanic who understood everything about rims and tires. Which is not the case at all, lol. read more

Finally picked up some rims for my Tacoma. Have been looking around for many months and David at MOD was the most helpful and I was able to make an awesome selection at a great price with super fast delivery! Definitely recommend! I cannot express the need to find deserving businesses that are there with good service, good prices and good products. read more

I can't thank these guys enough for helping me out... long story short, I had my car at Horizon Lines all set to ship. It was 2:30pm on a Friday and the Shipping company wouldn't take the car without the key for the wheel locks... and I needed to have it back to them within 30min or I wouldn't have been able to drop the car off until Monday... problem was, I was supposed to fly out the next day! One of the girls at Horizon gave me Mod Industries' number which was only a few minutes away. As soon as I got there, Dave (I think!) handed me a key and sentI'm me on my was, with no expectation that he would ever see me again... I made it back just barely in time and the company let me ship my car thanks to his selflessness! I wasn't the only customer there that he was helping out of a crisis situation either. There was another girl there with on of her wheels in shreds. I honestly don't know what I would have done without Dave's help. Truly great business model. THANK YOU!!! read more

Great place to get aftermarket parts installed for a great price! Messaged David about installing some parts and he was very quick to respond. Made an appointment and arrived a little late due to traffic from the west side to town but David was quick to get to work once I got there. They even got it done before the estimated time. I got new upper control arms installed and David's partner that installed it even came out and told me the proper way to maintain my new UCAs. I will definitely be returning in the future to install more parts. read more

David and his crew at MOD Industries were very welcoming and professional. No one on the island would service our lifted custom truck for a reasonable price . We call David and he assured us he would take care of our needs. I was shopping around for a tire 265/30/22 for my Lincoln Town Car and called David for a price quote. I called when he was closed but he still picked up his phone. That told me that he would treat me right. He gave me a price quote of $161. I was an idiot for shopping around for a better price because I didnt find much but one company. It was $20 cheaper but I went with David instead because of that phone call. I'll be coming back here for more tires in the future for sure. Oh and if you check in you get a free KMC Wheels hat. Stopped by looking for a set of rims for my girlfriends 2014 Toyota Corolla. David was extremely helpful in choosing the right size of rims to fit my needs at a MUCH better cost then other rim and tire shops. His customer service was excellent. Not only is David the nicest guy, but they took care of my car as well. Gave me a true honest price no other shop can beat! David was so patient. I asked him where I could get hub caps for a really good price and right away went online and showed me where I should order them from. I had such a wonderful experience here, I could go on. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!!! read more

Fantastic service at an excellent price! When a set of old tires had dry rot and needed to be replaced right away, I drove up the ramp to see if Mods had any in stock. Very professional service and a free hat just for checking in! I'll definitely be back if I need future service for tires or rims. read more

See it, experience it, and believe it! David at Mod Industries truly is a class act! He is knowledgeable and caring, wanting you to be satisfied with your purchase. I had previously bought a rim and tire set from Mod that provided a huge upgrade to my run flat originals. The ride is so much smoother and the compliments I receive about the "look" is flattering! But the sale alone is not what makes Mod Industries a 5 star company, it is the service. From recommendations, to installation, to post-install adjustments, they stand by their work. I recently discovered a nail in my front tire and David diagnosed the problem, recommended options to remedy, and fixed it with no charge! Integrity!
