Always a quick and good service. This is my second time taking my cars there and both experiences have been the same in regards when driving right afterwards. I notice the driving very rough and sensitive to the road after leaving the shop, and when I get home I check the pressure of the tires and they have been filled to more than 60psi, when the pressure should have been 32-33 psi. I know sometimes you have to fill the tires over 60psi when mounting them, but it doesn't take that long to depressurize them. If a customer doesn't know about this or not a car person, and of course is paying for a service, then he/she would trust on the installer and be unaware of the over wear and/or safety hazard that overfilling like that can cause. read more

This is my new go to place! Called David about a lift kit and wheels for my tacoma and he was really knowledgeable and also turned out to be a dealer for the toytec lift kit I was interested in. Awesome service! We needed tires changed asap because one of the front tires on our 350z was starting to split. GF pulled over on the side of the road until I could get the tires we had already purchased but hadn't had a chance to put on yet. Called Mod Industries and Dave said he could help us out and we could bring the car right then. Got the tires and car to the shop and within 20 minutes they were mounted and balanced! Put on 1.25 wheel spacers for my 2016 Toyota Tundra trd pro less than a hour and u can't beat the price...the only thing was it started rubbing on my insider fender wish they would've offered to help me fix it but it all worked out cause I jus did it myself at work and it was a easy fix...plus I didn't get the brand name of the spacers but it's all good...owner was cool and helpful read more

I'm new the Island and bought a 07 Tahoe when I first moved here. When I purchased the SUV, it had 26" with thin tires (Not my style) So I purchased smaller rims it came with 305/50/20. Loved the look but can't turn left or right without it rubbing. I called around the island to see how to fix the problem. So the saga continues where Lori I. and Tze M. left off. My wife calls me yesterday and says (just like Lori I. ) "my car started to feel like it was floating"... and that she went out to look at the tires and that they were bald! so I remembered Lori I. review and that I had bookmarked the shop. I called up and spoke to John.. he asked me some simple questions.... what year is my car, is it 4 wheel or 2 wheel drive... does it have tire pressure sensors on the tires..blah blah blah.... If I had the car in front of me then I could also just have rattled off the numbers on the tire but my wife was somewhere on Oahu "float driving" and so John told me that he has the tires in the warehouse but he was totally booked on saturday.... and that he had already squeezed 2 other people in and that monday would work out.... Well then I remembered someone told me about " Trying the look of pure disappointment :{ " and so maybe it came off in my voice :) and John said he could see if he could squeeze me in at 1:30pm and would call me at 10am the next morning (since i called him right before closing time on friday ) Thanks for the tip Lori : ) I did actually call around "just in case " John could not fit me in. Costco had to special order the tires and they were more expensive and my wife is float driving and its not safe for the other drivers to be on the road with her. I think my wife would be ok because she is pretty good on the driving game Tokyo Cop at Dave and Busters... but my insurance just went up so even if she did hit someone I would wind up paying dearly for it ...... so anyway, Sears had the tires and they were a little cheaper but guess what! I went to Sears just this past May for tires for my car and it took them 3 hours and that left me walking around the mall doing impulse shopping and so now the cost of the tires just went way up. So I was just hoping John would come through..... Well like clockwork he calls me up at 10am on Saturday morning and says he has the tires and can squeeze me in and life is good and my wife will be happy and I will be a hero :) He said if I come in at 1:30 he will take 1/2 hour and be done by 2 .... WTF! r u kidding me.... no 3 hour wait like Sears : ) This place is right past the New Hope Sand Island location and up a ramp to rooftop parking and there is Mod Industries.... pretty easy to find. I told him that I saw them on Yelp and he said yeah there is this girl Lori that did a write up on them that they thought it was pretty cool and she must be a journalist......and I am thinking or maybe just another happy customer!! : ) Thanks John. read more

MOD Industries is the best! They have years of experience! I don't drive a fast and furious car (anymore). My friends all say I drive crazy, but I think it's all perception. I needed new front tires because they were going bald. David took one look and asked if I work in a parking structure with left turns. And I did! So I needed my tires replaced, but it was no rush since he didn't have them in stock. So I gave the green light to order couple of tires for me. It came in the next day! Worked around my busy schedule to have them installed. And I got my tires at a great price! MOD is tucked away, located on Sand Island Access Road, up the ramp of the old Pager One building. They are an aftermarket cars accessories shop. Even though I have a stock car, I like that they are personable, and I also like to support local businesses. These guys are awesome! I put rims and tires on my truck about a year ago, but needed to find a place to install a 2" leveling kit (to stop the passenger side tire from slightly rubbing on the bumper trim). I called Mod Industries and within a week, they were able to fit me in. The job took a little over an hour and was VERY reasonably priced. The customer service is very friendly and while I was waiting in the waiting area, I listened to them interact on the phone and in person and I could tell that they go out of their way to accommodate their customers. I would definately recommend these guys to anyone looking for any type of wheel/tire/suspension services. TIP: When you look for them on Google maps, it shows them in the middle of a warehouse. As you pass the warehouse, you'll see a steep ramp to the roof on the left side of the loading docks. Take the ramp up and they are right at the top. read more

Very very helpful! Great customer service. It is a little hard to find, but tell me what isn't when it's located in Sand Island Access. Went in there near closing time, and some people are usually in a rush to leave or you feel like you're being rushed but that was not the case at all. I did not place an order yet, I will be pretty soon. But he's so helpful and fast with contacting me and keeping me informed on what I should order. I would recommend this place to anyone else! I tried a few other places, who will not be named, and they were just so rude! If not rude, they spoke to me like I was a mechanic who understood everything about rims and tires. I can't thank these guys enough for helping me out... long story short, I had my car at Horizon Lines all set to ship. It was 2:30pm on a Friday and the Shipping company wouldn't take the car without the key for the wheel locks... and I needed to have it back to them within 30min or I wouldn't have been able to drop the car off until Monday... problem was, I was supposed to fly out the next day! One of the girls at Horizon gave me Mod Industries' number which was only a few minutes away. As soon as I got there, Dave (I think!) handed me a key and sentI'm me on my was, with no expectation that he would ever see me again... I made it back just barely in time and the company let me ship my car thanks to his selflessness! I wasn't the only customer there that he was helping out of a crisis situation either. Great place to get aftermarket parts installed for a great price! Messaged David about installing some parts and he was very quick to respond. Made an appointment and arrived a little late due to traffic from the west side to town but David was quick to get to work once I got there. They even got it done before the estimated time. I got new upper control arms installed and David's partner that installed it even came out and told me the proper way to maintain my new UCAs. I was shopping around for a tire 265/30/22 for my Lincoln Town Car and called David for a price quote. I called when he was closed but he still picked up his phone. That told me that he would treat me right. He gave me a price quote of $161. I was an idiot for shopping around for a better price because I didnt find much but one company. It was $20 cheaper but I went with David instead because of that phone call. I'll be coming back here for more tires in the future for sure. Oh and if you check in you get a free KMC Wheels hat.
