After getting my oil change and tire rotation at another business they weren't able to do my tire rotation because I had a huge bubble on the outside of my tire so I was in search of a place where I could get my tires replaced and I've heard so many good things about Best Buy Tires and this was my first choice and after giving them a call Owner Wes answered my call right away and have me quotes over the phone. What I really liked about Wes was that he gave me options and prices over the phone which really impressed me. He wasn't out there trying to price gouge me and sell me the most expensive tires out there I chose one that would fit into my budget and I was very happy with the result. The prices here for tires were very reasonably priced and I know for a fact that other places would've charged me an arm and a leg for it. And the best part he took me in the very next day and ordered my tires as soon as I finished talking to him. And also there is no excruciating wait because he goes by appointment only so I know he can get on putting my new tires in right away. I got my two brand new tires put in no more than an hour. That's crazy fast!!!! Wes is simply the best. Hard to find honest people out there but with people like Wes it assures me that there are still some great people out there with great customer service. Initially came in to get a tire patched due to a nail in one of my tires. But hours later it was deflated again. Came back to get it inspected and found that the leak was happening by the tires outer sidewall(cracked) which all 4 tires had. See pic below. These were on a beefier setup 245/45/19's Dunlop SP SportMaxx, which I put on approx +45K miles on. Great tires with good grip! Decided to get all four tires replaced and Wes recommended Radar Dimax AS-9. I got them in the proper recommended tire size this time at 235/40/19's. So far I have put on +1200 miles on these and they are quiet and smooth. Happy with the purchase, pricing was the best compared to other shops. Will definitely come back when it's time for a new set. I found this place on Yelp, and it was definitely a blessing. Wes gave me quotes on special sized tires that I need and didn't pressure me to buy immediately. He was honest and pointed out that my tires still had life in them. I kept that in mind, and didn't buy anything right away but on 3/6/26, I got a nail in one of my tires. Although Best Buy Tires was about to close at 4pm, Wes took me in and patched my tire right away. He didn't want to charge me for the fix and I tried to offer a $25 tip, but he refused. I found BEST BUY TIRES on YELP & with so many good reviews I sent an inquiry on WEDNESDAY(10/28) - WES responded quickly and answered all my questions and had availability for me right away, he asked if I would like to come in that same day (I wouldve if i didnt have work) but he had availability that FRIDAY(10/31). He had availability for me, had tires in-stock for my vehicle & PRICING was cheaper than what i got quoted everywhere else! Best Buy would not sell me tires without also having them mount and balance them. I am a retired mechanic and have the capability to that myself. They said this is their policy and it is due to "liability issues." I found tires on the mainland and had them shipped to me no problem. read more

I decided to take my vehicle to this location since it was close to home and reasonably priced for me. I was not picky about the brand I just needed tires to get me from point A to point B. I was going to go to the members only club BUT I didn't want to wait there. If I ordered my tires from them, I would've needed to wait almost a month to get them put on my car on top of waiting there to get the service done. With Best Buy Tires, Wes was able to see me the next day (which was perfect since I have a very tight schedule) and he reached out to me within 30 minutes of sending my inquiry on a Monday night after 9:00pm. Awesome place to go if you want new tires. Wes is a super nice and friendly guy. Some old school auto shops have the worst customer service. You can't blame them since they're probably overworked. Wes on the other hand is super friendly, laid back and just a nice guy. I ain't no expert on tire replacement, but the work looked great and the price was affordable compared to other quotes. I also liked the fact that there wasn't a maze of cars you had to go through just to find the entrance to the shop. My tires were so bad I needed something ASAP. I went on Yelp to get some quotes and Wes was one that responded. He informed me that he was able to change my tires at a great price. He told me that all I needed to do was let him know if it was a go because he needed to get the tires from the warehouse. I told him yes it was a go and if he had any availability that day. He scheduled me for 3pm that day, but said he would call me if something opened up sooner. I ended up going there at 2pm because something opened up and I was out of there by 2:45pm. What a hidden gem! Was quoted half the price of Goodyear, Midas, etc and they had my tires in stock so I was able to come in the next day to have all 4 tires change. Amazing! Was going to leave my car while they did it and go to a coffee shop but I'm glad I didn't, it was so fast. 45min or less! My TPMS went out in my Lexus and I called a couple places to have it fixed. Lincoln replied quickly and was clear about how long it would take, how much it would cost, and what would be involved. Lincoln was also super reasonable and super accommodating with my schedule. Best Buy Tires is a smaller shop in Kalihi. Because of this, Lincoln can control the quality (and he's very particular about his work!) and has a better idea on job time - which was a huge deal for me, since I have multiple jobs. Took my car in at 10a. Lincoln explained what he would be doing to fix the problem. I walked around the area, which is super near to Palama Market! My car was fixed in an hour, as promised, and I was back on the road again! Plus, was super reasonable and Lincoln was super friendly. Def a hidden gem of a place. Buffet or ala carte? How do you like your car repairs? At my recent visit to the dealership for routine maintenance, they advised me that my truck needed at least one new tire due to sidewall damage. Their estimate was over $435 to replace TWO tires, so I decided to do some research. It had been several years since I replaced my tires so I decided to shop around. And what better place to shop for tires than Yelp! Best Buy comes very highly rated and they deserve their high ratings. They have on-line Yelp messaging for estimates, give Yelp discounts, and they have very competitive pricing. I priced around at Costco and another major tire dealer, but Best Buy Tires was the most reasonable, least troublesome, and friendliest place around the Kalihi area. The only complaint I have is that I could not get them to answer their phones. There was one number on the Yelp site and another on Google, but neither was being answered so I went by to make an appointment in person. Best Buy Tires is in a nondescript building next to the Homeowners' Design Center on Kohou Street. They share the building with a company called Excalibur, so you need to look for that sign. I met with Lincoln and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. My appointment only took about 70 minutes. I got 4 new tires, balanced but without alignment. Lincoln referred me, as he does with all his customers, to Firestone for alignment. On-line pricing for regular alignment is about $100. That plus what I paid for my tires (about $600) meant that I was paying about $150-$200 less than the major tire provider down the street. True, I'll have to set aside some more time to make another appointment for alignment, but it's well worth $200 to me. SO...back to my opening question: do you want all-in-one servicing ((buffet) and a long wait, or are you willing to shop around (ala carte) for some better deals and save some time, too? Best Buy Tires can save you some money and time. read more

Great staff who cares & fast, professional service. I first found this place about four years ago. At that time my tires didn't pass the safety check. They didn't have my tires the day I stopped by, but the guy who helped me said it was too dangerous to drive with my current tires. They put temporary tires on so I go drive home. Didn't even ask for payment at that time. Came back the next day when my new tires were in. I was in and out in 30 minutes. This morning I woke up to a flat tire. I was in and out in 15 minutes.
