Had a slow leak from a nail in one of my tires and my tires were in need of changing due to wear so decided to try this place out since I didn't want to deal with long Costco wait times. It was awesome here! Made an appointment on the phone, also added in some TPMS sensors. Service was great the owner has a dual use small garage, where he also services printers or supplies toner. The tire section is on the other part of the shop. Very happy with the service and quality of the work would definitely come here again! read more

After getting my oil change and tire rotation at another business they weren't able to do my tire rotation because I had a huge bubble on the outside of my tire so I was in search of a place where I could get my tires replaced and I've heard so many good things about Best Buy Tires and this was my first choice and after giving them a call Owner Wes answered my call right away and have me quotes over the phone. What I really liked about Wes was that he gave me options and prices over the phone which really impressed me. He wasn't out there trying to price gouge me and sell me the most expensive tires out there I chose one that would fit into my budget and I was very happy with the result. The prices here for tires were very reasonably priced and I know for a fact that other places would've charged me an arm and a leg for it. And the best part he took me in the very next day and ordered my tires as soon as I finished talking to him. And also there is no excruciating wait because he goes by appointment only so I know he can get on putting my new tires in right away. I got my two brand new tires put in no more than an hour. That's crazy fast!!!! Wes is simply the best. Hard to find honest people out there but with people like Wes it assures me that there are still some great people out there with great customer service. I'm definitely coming back when my two back tires start to get bald. So if you guys are looking at getting some brand new tires at a really good price, hit up Wes here at Best Buy Tires. His place is in Kalihi right past the 7-11 on 1124 Kohou St. just look for the Excalibur Sign. read more

Best Buy Tires - Wes getting to work getting my two front tires replaced - Tires Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I had my TPMS replaced on all four of my tires. Wes was amazing, amazing customer service and I would highly recommend!

Wes responded through yelp projects and took me in next day for my tire repair. Turns out it was just a small nail that didn't puncture through. He took out the nail free of charge Since no repair was needed, Wes did not charge me for the inspection. Very honest and stand up guy. Please see him for all your tire needs. read more

Best Buy Tires - Nail that was removed from tire - Tires Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Initially came in to get a tire patched due to a nail in one of my tires. But hours later it was deflated again. Came back to get it inspected and found that the leak was happening by the tires outer sidewall(cracked) which all 4 tires had. See pic below. These were on a beefier setup 245/45/19's Dunlop SP SportMaxx, which I put on approx +45K miles on. Great tires with good grip! Decided to get all four tires replaced and Wes recommended Radar Dimax AS-9. I got them in the proper recommended tire size this time at 235/40/19's. So far I have put on +1200 miles on these and they are quiet and smooth. Happy with the purchase, pricing was the best compared to other shops. Will definitely come back when it's time for a new set. Thank you Wes read more

All 4 tires was installed and I was out within an hour .. Definitely recommend Best buy tires read more

Best Buy Tires - Tires Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I have nothing but praises for this business! Wes is terrific at communicating and he's such a kind and hard-working man. I messaged him on the first Friday that the Kona Low hit to see if he could change my tires since they were pretty low and I probably would have crashed with all the rain. He squeezed me in the same day and changed my tires in less than an hour of arrival! Amazing! It was storming outside so I couldn't believe that he was still working. Highly recommended if you want quality service at amazing prices. read more

Owner very helpful and responsive! Awesome vibe at the location. Easy to find, ample parking in the area. Master of his trade. Knows what he can and what he cant do. Does not risk damage to your car or tires. Very kind and welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 will be back again!!! Thanks again for all the help! read more

I found this place on Yelp, and it was definitely a blessing. Wes gave me quotes on special sized tires that I need and didn't pressure me to buy immediately. He was honest and pointed out that my tires still had life in them. I kept that in mind, and didn't buy anything right away but on 3/6/26, I got a nail in one of my tires. Although Best Buy Tires was about to close at 4pm, Wes took me in and patched my tire right away. He didn't want to charge me for the fix and I tried to offer a $25 tip, but he refused. He just said to call and order the tires I needed when I'm ready. I will definitely only buy tires from this place going forward, because he provided such great service. Great service is the seed to planting loyal customers. Thank you, Wes! I'll recommend you and call soon. read more

Wes is awesome! Got quoted for some nice all terrain tires cheaper than anywhere on island! Made an appointment at 1:30 and was done in an hour. Come here for all your tire needs! read more

Needed a 15" spare tire for a "97," Chevy S-10 P/U. Wes, was his normal proficient self and responded to my written electronic request quickly. He further ordered said tire, then mounted/balanced the tire; all at a very reasonable price for prementioned services; His shops location is very centrally located and his friendly and professional manner further enhance sale. Been to "Best Buy Tires," numerous other occasions (4X) thru the years and nothing but high praise for his work as well as pricing; reason for continued support to a local small businessman! read more

Wes was so friendly and professional! Had me back on the road in under an hour. Mahalo!

Amazing service. Quick response to the services I needed. Affordable prices. Very professional and quick, quality service.

Wes was very responsive. He gave me quotes, asked for pictures. Great customer service

Had to leave a review right away for Wes at Best Buy Tires! I've been in need of changing my front two tires on my 2018 Nissan Rogue for some time. Finally looked around for pricing and found Best Buy Tires through yelp. So glad I did! From the time I sent a message through yelp the communication with Wes was quick and professional! I also messaged through yelp around 8:30pm and didn't expect to have a reply until the next day. Wes replied to me within 20 minutes! I was able to secure an appointment a few days later and just got my two tires changed within 30 minutes of me arriving! Wes was so friendly and easy going! I also really appreciate his pricing for tires. I initially was looking at Costco for my tires but the price Wes offered was such a steal and his great customer service was easy for me to make the decision to go here! I'll definitely be back for any future tire needs and will be sharing with friends and family! Thank you Wes! read more

Let's just say im 9 months pregnant & really needed to change all 4 tires on my 2011 Scion XB.. i know.. so last minute lol I called around and no one had my tires in-stock or i was quoted really high.. I found BEST BUY TIRES on YELP & with so many good reviews I sent an inquiry on WEDNESDAY(10/28) - WES responded quickly and answered all my questions and had availability for me right away, he asked if I would like to come in that same day (I wouldve if i didnt have work) but he had availability that FRIDAY(10/31). He had availability for me, had tires in-stock for my vehicle & PRICING was cheaper than what i got quoted everywhere else! Appointment Day came - I had my 3yr old son with me - i arrived about 10-15 minutes early, he greeted me and started the service right away! They had a little seating area outside to wait - WES & the rest of the staff were so nice and kind while me and my son waited! & sure enough he was done in less than an hour!! 5 STARS ALL AROUND! Definitely coming here for my tire services & had recommended them to my mom & will be recommending to others as well!! read more

Even though this review is way late, this business is top notch. Quick, friendly service and good prices hard to beat. Been here twice over the years. Will be back again. read more

Definitely recommend Wes @ Best Buy Tires. To my surprise he quickly responded to my yelp request n questions. He gave me a price with everything included n I was sold. He was willing to take me in the same day but I agreed to have my tires done the next morning only because I'm not too familiar with kalihi. I got to my appointment on time. Google map kept taking me to the wrong street but yet so close. Just so you know. Stay on Kohou st. It's right behind of 7eLeven. Wes met me outside of his shop. Very nice n humble man. I went to grab breakfast n when I got back he was done. 45 mins probably less. Very Fast service. I highly recommend Wes. No need to shop around for tires .. Go see Wes.. trust me you won't be disappointed.. Thank you Wes for the great service. I appreciate you.. read more

Wes was great! Quick to respond, knowledgeable, responsible pricing and great to talk with. Simple shop but highly recommend. Mahalo Wes!

Best Buy would not sell me tires without also having them mount and balance them. I am a retired mechanic and have the capability to that myself. They said this is their policy and it is due to "liability issues." I found tires on the mainland and had them shipped to me no problem. read more

Three days later and never even got a call back after leaving a detailed message. What's the point of voicemail if it's not going to be checked? Would've liked to come check this place out based on the reviews, but not answering calls or responding to messages nipped that enthusiasm in the bud. read more

Excellent service! Sent a request via Yelp around 8pm-ish and able to set up appt for the following day! He patched my tire in less than 20 min! read more

I decided to take my vehicle to this location since it was close to home and reasonably priced for me. I was not picky about the brand I just needed tires to get me from point A to point B. I was going to go to the members only club BUT I didn't want to wait there. If I ordered my tires from them, I would've needed to wait almost a month to get them put on my car on top of waiting there to get the service done. With Best Buy Tires, Wes was able to see me the next day (which was perfect since I have a very tight schedule) and he reached out to me within 30 minutes of sending my inquiry on a Monday night after 9:00pm. I went in for my appointment and he had my tires changed out under an hour. I was very happy with my decision!! I will definitely go back! read more

Great service! I initially came in thinking I needed to change all four tires. But they called me and told me the two back tires were still good. So I ended up only paying for two tires and saving money. You don't get honesty like that quite often with these types of businesses. Not to mention their pricing is some of the best you will find! read more

"Five stars for Wes at Best Buy Tires! My TPMS light was on, and they got me in 24 hours after a quick text. Awesome place to go if you want new tires. Wes is a super nice and friendly guy. Some old school auto shops have the worst customer service. You can't blame them since they're probably overworked. Wes on the other hand is super friendly, laid back and just a nice guy. I ain't no expert on tire replacement, but the work looked great and the price was affordable compared to other quotes. I also liked the fact that there wasn't a maze of cars you had to go through just to find the entrance to the shop. Only thing that might throw people off is that it doesn't look that much like a tire shop. Although sometimes that's where you get the best service. read more

My tires were so bad I needed something ASAP. I went on Yelp to get some quotes and Wes was one that responded. He informed me that he was able to change my tires at a great price. He told me that all I needed to do was let him know if it was a go because he needed to get the tires from the warehouse. I told him yes it was a go and if he had any availability that day. He scheduled me for 3pm that day, but said he would call me if something opened up sooner. I ended up going there at 2pm because something opened up and I was out of there by 2:45pm. Wes did such an amazing job in the hot sun. He even informed us about our alignment and everything. I've been here before and was helped by Carl. These guys are really good and professional. I don't think I will ever get my tires done anywhere else. I literally tell everybody about this place. Thank you Wes and Carl! read more

What a hidden gem! Was quoted half the price of Goodyear, Midas, etc and they had my tires in stock so I was able to come in the next day to have all 4 tires change. Amazing! Was going to leave my car while they did it and go to a coffee shop but I'm glad I didn't, it was so fast. 45min or less! I asked Lincoln if he could show me how to change my windshield wipers after and he just did it for me. These guys are amazing! Get your tires done here! Will be back! read more

Why did I wait so long! Truck Handel's completely different. So much better! Thank you, Lincoln I shopped everywhere, Costco, Lexington Brodies, Good Year and this place was 30% less. read more

My TPMS went out in my Lexus and I called a couple places to have it fixed. Lincoln replied quickly and was clear about how long it would take, how much it would cost, and what would be involved. Lincoln was also super reasonable and super accommodating with my schedule. Best Buy Tires is a smaller shop in Kalihi. Because of this, Lincoln can control the quality (and he's very particular about his work!) and has a better idea on job time - which was a huge deal for me, since I have multiple jobs. Took my car in at 10a. Lincoln explained what he would be doing to fix the problem. I walked around the area, which is super near to Palama Market! My car was fixed in an hour, as promised, and I was back on the road again! Plus, was super reasonable and Lincoln was super friendly. Def a hidden gem of a place. Oh...Lexus was going to charge almost 3 times as much for the same job which would take a whole day...yes, THREE TIMES! read more

Best and only place my wheels get tires put on. Great service and alway a pleasant experience.

Should have listened to Yelp to begin with; I found the same tire a little cheaper across town so I went to the other place and learned you get what you pay for. I unfortunately was late for my appointment; he squeezed me in after work but it was close. A guy showed up and wanted 4 tires put on. Luckily the other customer was understanding, and he popped my tire off and got it replaced in like 10 minutes. Will definitely be back, thank you!! read more
