This isn't the crafty side of me... Having a very long and exhausting work I've lagged so much in adulting that I've put my ride that's been my ultimate support for me in every way to a point that I've never neglect the safety check. I know exactly when it was due and it had passed that time and beyond only to be told by my bestie as I was driving away that my tail light was out..GAH! Now what do I do about this as I knew the safety is due but with this tail light that's out there's no way it'll pass and this kind of musical chair doesn't make it easy to get things done. Confessing at work of my frustration of course I had someone who says they could do it for me...hmmm!? Running out of options I decided to take the first step of getting a bulb and decided to go to the experts and get the correct ones which only took seconds and got a confirmation of how simple it really is out and done thank you! The staff here is just a delight very helpful with any questions and tried and tried and couldn't but that person at work actually did it for me and am so grateful for helping me so now I'm able to explore with ease! Thank you!

This is my first auto parts supplies store I go to. They are conveniently located and plenty of parking. The staff have always been very helpful for instance looking parts up etc. and if you purchase windshield wipers they'll install them! Now that's service. I've been coming to this location for many years and will continue.

A Clean car is a Happy car!!! Several days ago, while reading a review from a fellow Yelp friend who had just taken his vehicle for detailing, I got the "itch" to detail my car. I remembered days gone by when I'd spend one of my days off to wash and wax my car's exterior while examining my windshield wipers and tires for wear and using my vacuum cleaner and crevice tools to clean the air ducts and in between the car seats. Sheesh, I'd even use my hair blow dryer to warm the leather interior to make spreading the leather wax or conditioner evenly and easier on the upholstery and dashboard. If there were any mechanical issues, well, I'd let my husband handle it. My car was my "child," We rarely transport passengers in our back seat and have a standing rule of no eating or drinking in the car. At our condominium, we don't have assigned parking spaces even though the sales contract provided us with set stall numbers, but management has maintained random parking rules, which have worked out well for us and the other owners. Thankfully our parking stalls are full-sized, and lanes are slightly larger for easier maneuverability, so we feel our vehicle is safe but not necessarily protected from others who don't care for their cars as much as we or others do. Over the past two years, during the pandemic, we noticed scratches and scrapes appearing on our car doors and fenders, which we can't necessarily attribute to our fellow residents but could've been inflicted when parking out in public. I mentioned the scuffs and scratches to my husband, who then went on to look through our car maintenance supplies. He told me we'd have to purchase new supplies because what we had dried up due to non-use (see, it has been years since our car had scratches or scuffs). So, we took off to O'Reilly Auto Parts as we drove out searching for a gift for an upcoming birthday party that we're attending soon. Although this location has its address listed on South King Street, we knew that its parking lot is accessible from either Punahou or Young Streets. We fondly remember the former Cinérama Theater at this Pāwaa location. Yikes! Anyway, we found a parking stall quickly and walked into the store from the parking lot. This store has clear aisle signage, but we didn't need the signs because as soon as we walked in, we spotted the washes and waxes in the Detailing category. We scanned the shelves and found the products we needed, and then stood in line for the next available cashier. I liked that there were four cashiers on duty, and we could overhear some of their helpful discussions with their customers. We were in and out of the store within five minutes! We trust and rely on O'Reilly Auto Parts for their customer service, expansive inventory, and value. If we ever need assistance looking for an automotive part or product, this store has plenty of helpful and friendly personnel.

Had to get oil for my car so decided to go to O'Reilly located corner of Young St. and Punahou . If you want cheap oil head to O'Reilly and buy their brand O'Reilly oil . My friend is a mechanic and he said don't waste money on the brand names it's just as good . Especially if you don't have a brand new car like me lol. This place also install basic things for their customer like new battery and Wiper Blades . So check them out if you need any Auto needs . I know it's not a local company , but for convenience need to stop wherever is close. Be safe out there

Two years ago I had my car in at Lex Brodies for its annual service and safety check and when I asked them why the mileage service indicator hadn't been changed they said it most likely was because the battery was low and should be replaced.....cost $400. Ah I said not this week mainly because I had no warning that it was low or drag starting the car. Two years later...still no warning but after a Costco run, a park stop with Mimi and an afternoon run to Target my car was dead in the pickup parking lot. Now that warning light was flashing...what kind of warning was that? Called Battery Bill's and was told they had moved from the Mapunapuna location, closing that store and the Nimitz store incorporating both locations into a "superstore" in north Kalihi. Easy to find once I got my son, his jumper cables and his jeep to start me, I drove to Moonui Street. Right on the corner of Waikamilo & Moonui across from the Texaco just pulled into the lot, walked into the store and told the associate why, what and how I came to be there. They asked me to pull into an open bay and a young man came out, tested my battery advising it was indeed gasping. I was as surprised as he was when he told me it was the original battery that came when I purchased the car in 2019. No wonder they said two years previously I might need a replacement. At that point I was told to go back into the store and they would tell me all the options available. I went with the Battery Bill's brand as I had it previously in my Jaguar and my husband's corvette. Paid a total of $159 which included installation. When I left less than 30 minutes I was just as happy as my car was. Great experience, fantastic customer service, highly recommended.

It was a first for me to walk into this auto parts store location in Nu'uanu, as I normally frequent the McCully location where the old Cinerama Theater used to be. Now if you remember the long lines of people waiting to see Star Wars at the Cinerama Theater, then you one OLD FUT like me! Buwahahahahahaha! I must say this O'Reilly Auto Parts store in Nu'uanu is by far the largest auto parts store that I've every walked into. Out of curiosity, when I was walking around in the store, I decided to check out the electronics section, and came across a Type-C Auxiliary Adapter that was looking for to hook up my smart phone to my stereo in my car, as my old stereo didn't have Bluetooth. Although the price was pretty reasonable at O'Reilly (about $16 - $20 bucks for one cable), I didn't need it right away & decided to look online at Ebay & I ended up getting four cables for just $6 bucks. Can we say DEALAGES Yo??? Lol! Although I didn't end up buying anything, but killed some good time, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here should I need something specific for my hot rod in the near future.

I went in there and they have my car battery in stock, but they couldn't install it for me because it was dark and they only have 2 people working. Ok, I understand and I asked them what time they will open tomorrow morning so I can come back in the morning before I go to work to get the car battery. I told the guy that I'll be there in the morning to get the battery and he said it was ok. This morning I went there at around 7:30am to get my car battery and the person there said that they only have 2 people working and they can't help me install it. I looked around and it was a ghost town in there. there was one customer checking out. After he left, there was no one in the store. I don't know what their policy is about helping customers install anything when there's 2 sales associates that are available and they are not doing anything in the store. I mean one person can watch the store and the other one can assist me with the battery installation. It doesn't take that long to put the battery in my car. Nope, both were in the store with no customers and they were not doing anything. I wasted 2 trips to this O'Reilly location. If that sales person told me last night that they will only have 2 people working this morning and they would not be able to help me until later when they might have more than 2 people working, I wouldn't have wasted my time coming early this morning. This is day 3 of my quest to get a new car battery. I will try another auto parts store. I don't think I will come back to this O'Reilly location again, very disappointing.

I brought my iPad to the Don Quijote location on the same day I inquired about screen repair. I arrived to the location at around 12:30pm (time stamp in image.) I spoke to two employees. I talked to one employee that took a look at my iPad and confirmed the price and time to pick up (2 hours). I also confirmed again with the guy who managed the payment that it would take two hours. I show up around 4:45pm and no one greets me walking in. So I walk up (five minutes later) to the first employee and asked if the tablet is ready. She told me, "Oh you're early, I just have to put on the screen." It had been 2+ hours since I dropped off so I was confused but I said I will wait till they are done. I came back around 50 minutes later and the repair is not done yet. At this point it is already 5:45pm and it has not been finished. I wait until 6:18pm and she hands me it without apologizing for the wait or anything. I regret not saying anything about the time issue but it feels conflicting because of all the things I signed and I am not sure if I am in right to. The problem is not how long it takes, but it was the misinformation about when pick up would be. I confirmed with two people that it would be ready in two hours. It came out to almost 6 hours. I would not have minded dropping it off and coming back another time, if they had communicated that. But I was told it was 2 hours so I waited there, standing in the store and not wanting to rush the employees. The repair itself is excellent but the customer service was conflicting. I paid $329.84 and expected quality care. I do wish I had a better experience because it seems others do.

I FORGOT TO CHECK IN GUYS! IM SO SORRY... ‍ IM ALWAYS DOING THAT! I go places forget to check in…read morebecause I'm concentrating on what to do, I totally forget to check in. I need to come up with a better system for YELP here! So I went into O'Reilly hoping someone could help me decide which power steering fluid to get. I wasn't sure if spending $15 was worth the trouble to HELP keep our truck running for at least 4 days more. So I asked the lady at the counter if she recommended this. She said YES! AWESOME! But... she also gave me a helpful advice that cut the cost too! I took it! She said she used it and it helped with hers as well. Try it out, it should work. If it doesn't, it because your issue is far worst than you expected that it has to be fixed immediately & using the other costly one may not help. But she did say we COULD TRY if we wanted. (I just needed it to stop til next week when we do take the truck in to fix.) I said OK! I will do that! That was on Thursday. Her recommendation held on for a good 3 days. YAY! But apparently, my husband said it started to leak AGAIN. I guess the lady was correct. The issue is getting worst than we anticipated and hopefully we could get a bit of that other one for it to hold off a couple more days. So I appreciate this store because even if they may or may not BE mechanics, they too also know a bit of something to help someone in need! Thank you guys for the suggestions. I think we'll be back later today. ‍
